The past two decades witnessed a broad-increase in web technology and on-line gaming. Enhancing the broadband confinements is viewed as one of the most significant variables that prompted new gaming technology. The immense utilization of web applications and games additionally prompted growth in the handled devices and moving the limited gaming experience from user devices to online cloud servers. As internet capabilities are enhanced new ways of gaming are being used to improve the gaming experience. In cloud-based video gaming, game engines are hosted in cloud gaming data centers, and compressed gaming scenes are rendered to the players over the internet with updated controls. In such systems, the task of transferring games and video compression imposes huge computational complexity is required on cloud servers. The basic problems in cloud gaming in particular are high encoding time, latency, and low frame rates which require a new methodology for a better solution. To improve the bandwidth issue in cloud games, the compression of video sequences requires an alternative mechanism to improve gaming adaption without input delay. In this paper, the proposed improved methodology is used for automatic unnecessary scene detection, scene removing and bit rate reduction using an adaptive algorithm for object detection in a game scene. As a result, simulations showed without much impact on the players’ quality experience, the selective object encoding method and object adaption technique decrease the network latency issue, reduce the game streaming bitrate at a remarkable scale on different games. The proposed algorithm was evaluated for three video game scenes. In this paper, achieved 14.6% decrease in encoding and 45.6% decrease in bit rate for the first video game scene.  相似文献

The distribution of vanadium (V) species in soil (test soil), vegetables and grasses, collected from the vicinity of a thermal power plant has been studied. For comparison purpose soil (control soil), same vegetable and grass samples were collected from agricultural land devoid of any industrial area. A simple and efficient ultrasonic assisted extraction method has been developed for the extraction of V(5+) species from soil, vegetable and grass samples using Na(2)CO(3) in the range of 0.1-0.5 mol/L. For comparison purpose same sub samples were also extracted by conventional heating method. The total and V species were determined by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry using different modifiers. The validity of V(5+) and V(4+) determination had been confirmed by the spike recovery and total amount of V by the analysis of CRM 1570 (spinach leave) and sub samples of agricultural soil. The concentration of total V was found in the range of 90-215 and 11.4-42.3 μg/g in test and control soil samples, respectively. The contents of V(5+) and total V in vegetables and grasses grown around the thermal power plant were found in the range of 2.9-5.25 and 8.74-14.9 μg/g, respectively, which were significantly higher than those values obtained from vegetables and fodders grown in non exposed agricultural site (P<0.01). Statistical evaluations indicate that the sum of concentrations of V(5+) and V(4+) species was not significantly different from total concentration of V in same sub samples of vegetable, grass and soil of both origins, at 95% level of confidence.  相似文献

The bias stress effect on C60 based n-type OFETs was studied comprehensively. The role of dielectric layers and the active layers on bias stress effect was quantified by choosing three different dielectric layers with three different morphologies of active layers. It was found, that the bias stress induced charges can be trapped in active layer as well as in dielectric layers. The charge trapping in active layers happened ten times faster as compared to the trapping of charges in dielectric layers. It was proved, that the use of appropriate dielectric layers increases the bias stress stability by decreasing bias stress effects up to 55%. It was experimentally proven that the fabrication of electrically stress stable devices is possible by using C60 layers grown at higher substrate temperature or with large grain sizes. The OFETs fabricated with larger grain sizes also fulfil the criterion of Guard bands for modelling of electronic circuits, which is a first step of organic electronics towards the industrialization. On the basis of experimental evidences, the criterion of choosing appropriate dielectric layers for OFETs was also proposed.  相似文献

The selection of potential probiotic strains that possess the physiological capacity of performing successfully in the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) is a critical challenge. Probiotic microorganisms must tolerate the deleterious effects of various stresses to survive passage and function in the human GIT. Adhesion to the intestinal mucosa is also an important aspect. Recently, numerous studies have been performed concerning the selection and evaluation of novel probiotic microorganisms, mainly probiotic bacteria isolated from dairy and nondairy products. Therefore, it would be crucial to critically review the assessment methods employed to select the potential probiotics. This article aims to review and discuss the recent approaches, methods used for the selection, and outcomes of the evaluation of novel probiotic strains with the main purpose of supporting future probiotic microbial assessment studies. The findings and approaches used for assessing acid tolerance, bile metabolism and tolerance, and adhesion capability are the focus of this review. In addition, probiotic bile deconjugation and bile salt hydrolysis are explored. The selection of a new probiotic strain has mainly been based on the in vitro tolerance of physiologically related stresses including low pH and bile, to ensure that the potential probiotic microorganism can survive the harsh conditions of the GIT. However, the varied experimental conditions used in these studies (different types of media, bile, pH, and incubation time) hamper the comparison of the results of these investigations. Therefore, standardization of experimental conditions for characterizing and selecting probiotics is warranted.  相似文献

Diabetes mellitus and related disorders significantly contribute to morbidity and mortality worldwide. Despite the advances in the current therapeutic methods, further development of anti-diabetic therapies is necessary. Mitochondrial dysfunction is known to be implicated in diabetes development. Moreover, specific types of mitochondrial diabetes have been discovered, such as MIDD (maternally inherited diabetes and deafness) and DAD (diabetes and Deafness). Hereditary mitochondrial disorders are caused by certain mutations in the mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA), which encodes for a substantial part of mitochondrial proteins and mitochondrial tRNA necessary for mitochondrial protein synthesis. Study of mtDNA mutations is challenging because the pathogenic phenotype associated with such mutations depends on the level of its heteroplasmy (proportion of mtDNA copies carrying the mutation) and can be tissue-specific. Nevertheless, modern sequencing methods have allowed describing and characterizing a number of mtDNA mutations associated with human disorders, and the list is constantly growing. In this review, we provide a list of mtDNA mutations associated with diabetes and related disorders and discuss the mechanisms of their involvement in the pathology development.  相似文献
