Liver tumor is the fifth most occurring type of tumor in men and the ninth most occurring type of tumor in women according to recent reports of Global cancer statistics 2018. There are several imaging tests like Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and ultrasound that can diagnose the liver tumor after taking the sample from the tissue of the liver. These tests are costly and time-consuming. This paper proposed that image processing through deep learning Convolutional Neural Network (CNNs) ResUNet model that can be helpful for the early diagnose of tumor instead of conventional methods. The existing studies have mainly used the two Cascaded CNNs for liver segmentation and evaluation of Region Of Interest (ROI). This study uses ResUNet, an updated version of U-Net and ResNet Models that utilize the service of Residential blocks. We apply over method on the 3D-IRCADb01 dataset that is based on CT slices of liver tumor affected patients. The results showed the True Value Accuracy around 99% and F1 score performance around 95%. This method will be helpful for early and accurate diagnose of the Liver tumor to save the lives of many patients in the field of Biotechnology.  相似文献

In this paper, a new state feedback scheme is proposed for the control of simulated moving beds with strongly nonlinear isotherms. The proposed scheme offers a unified framework enabling different performance criteria to be improved according to the active production constraints (achieving low cost, improving efficiency, respecting deadlines) that may unpredictably change during the production batch. The proposed scheme is illustrated through several examples showing the robustness of the closed-loop behavior against parameter uncertainties as well as its reactivity to changes in the active auxiliary criterion.  相似文献

Here, the formation of periodic precipitation (Liesegang bands) from hybrid (organic–inorganic) components is reported, namely ZIF‐8, ZIF‐67, and their mixed metal derivatives. The spacing and width laws that characterize the Liesegang system are determined and the resulting pattern is exploited to crystal engineer various sizes and doping of the ZIF material. Several key parameters that govern the crystallization process of ZIF‐8 are investigated in each band and the growth of the particles in each band is found to follow an Ostwald ripening mechanism.  相似文献

In the past decade, the use of marine mussels as seafood is being more popular. They considered being a rich source of various nutritional bioactive compounds that aroused the scientific community's interest. This study investigated the antioxidant and the antithrombotic consequences on Sprague-Dawley male rats after adding dried New Zealand mussel Perna canaliculus in their diet. The biochemical, hematological and histopathological changes were also observed. Forty rats were divided into four groups according to the amount of dried mussels in their diet, in addition to a control group that consumed a basal diet only. Group 1 consumed 25% dried mussels in its basal diet; Group 2 consumed 35% dried mussels in its basal diet, and Group 3 was consumed 45% dried mussels in its basal diet. The biochemical parameters showed improvements in liver function. Interestingly, the lipid profile decreased, especially the low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) levels which were reduced significantly in Group 3 (p < .01). These observations were accompanied by a decrease in iron levels significantly as the amount of dried mussels increased (p < .01). Furthermore, the noticed changes in the hematological profile prove that there is an increase in antithrombotic activity. Dried mussels had potent antioxidant effects in the liver as shown by increased lipid peroxide (p < .05), reduced glutathione (p < .05), and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px; p < .05). Additionally, antioxidant activity in the kidney was shown to increase through GSH-Px activity (p < .01). In conclusion, these results indicate that consuming dried mussels resulted in improved biochemical and antioxidants activities and could be used as an antithrombotic agent.  相似文献

The equilibrium oxygen potentials of the two-phase equilibria Fe3O4/Fe1–xS, Co1–xS/Co3S4, Co3S4/CoS2, Co1–xS/CoO, and CoO/CoSO4 were measured as a function of temperature. A solid-state emf technique using calcia-stabilized zirconia (CSZ) solid electrolyte was used. These equilibria were studied atP SO21 atm; the equilibrium Co1–xS/CoO was also studied atP SO20.1 atm. Two emf cell designs were used for the measurements atP SO21 atm andP SO21 and 0.1 atm, respectively. The homogeneity range of FeS in equilibrium with Fe3O4 and that of Co1–xS in equilibrium with CoO at 1073 K andP SO21 atm were measured by electron microprobe analysis.  相似文献

In this paper, we develop an efficient Call Admission Control (cac) algorithm forumts systems. We first introduce the expressions that we developed for Signal-to-Interference (sir) for both uplink and downlink, to obtain a novelcac algorithm that takes into account, in addition tosir constraints, the effects of mobility, coverage as well as the wired capacity behind the base station, for the uplink, and the maximal transmission power of the base station, for the downlink. As of its implementation, we investigate the measurement-based approach as a means to predict future, both handoff and new, call arrivals and thus manage different priority levels depending on a tunable coefficient. Compared to classicalcac algorithms, ourcac mechanism achieves better performance in terms of outage probability and QoS management.  相似文献

Suspended nanoparticles in conventional fluids, called nanofluids, have been the subject of intensive study worldwide since pioneering researchers recently discovered the anomalous thermal behavior of these fluids. The enhanced thermal conductivity of these fluids with small-particle concentration was surprising and could not be explained by existing theories. Micrometer-sized particle-fluid suspensions exhibit no such dramatic enhancement. This difference has led to studies of other modes of heat transfer and efforts to develop a comprehensive theory. This article presents an exhaustive review of these studies and suggests a direction for future developments. The review and suggestions could be useful because the literature in this area is spread over a wide range of disciplines, including heat transfer, material science, physics, chemical engineering and synthetic chemistry.  相似文献

This paper describes the failure of an 8.5-m-high fill slope constructed over weathered claystone and siltstone in Martinez, Contra Costa County, in northern California. The failure occurred about 5 months after construction. Several piezometers and inclinometers were installed to measure the pore pressures and the location of the failure surface(s), respectively. The failure surface was observed just below the interface between the fill and the natural materials. Factors of safety of the failed slope calculated using laboratory-derived effective shear strength parameters were on the order of 1.58–1.95. Reduction factors were necessary to reduce the shear strength values and to obtain reasonable agreements with the field observations. A class “C” prediction of the location failure surface and the factor of safety using the reduced shear strength values indicated results that were consistent with the field observations. This paper highlights the importance of exercising extreme caution when evaluating the stability of slopes in plastic natural clays.  相似文献
