On the question of an electrokinetic requirement for phospholipase C action

The phospholipase C of clostridium welchii (alpha toxin) has an absolute requirement for trace quantities of Ca2+. It attacks pure phosphatidylcholine particles (smectic mesophases) having a close-packed bilayer structure only when their surface zeta potential is made positive by the addition of certain divalent ions (e.g., Ca2+) to the aqueous phase or by the presence of low concentrations of long chain cations to the lipid. Alternatively, if the rotational freedom of individual phospholipid molecules is increased by the insertion of short n-alkanols (e.g., hexanol) into the bilayer or when a monolayer of the substrate at an air/water interface is expended, enzymic hydrolysis can occur without any requirement for a net postive charge on the surface.

Cutting the suspensory ligament reduced the ovarian content of norepinephrine (NE) to less than half that of controls and only a few blood vessels had perivascular fibers and an occasional nerve remained in the interstitial gland. Cutting the ovarian plexus had a less drastic, but similar effect on the ovarian content of NE and on the pattern of ovarian adrenergic nerves. Cutting both the suspensory ligament and ovarian plexus eliminated visualization of ovarian adrenergic nerves, but some ovarian NE was still measurable. Fluorescence and electron microscopic studies of the suspensory ligament revealed a large adrenergic nerve embedded in smooth muscle of the ligament. The nerve was also acetylcholinesterase-positive. Cutting the celiac plexus or incising a small nerve lateral to the plexus and medial to the origin of the suspensory ligament, had the same effect on the ovarian adrenergic nerves as cutting the suspensory ligament. It is concluded that the extrinsic adrenergic nerves to the rat ovary reach the organ by two routes: one via the nerve in the suspensory ligament (superior ovarian nerve), and one via the traditionally described ovarian plexus along the ovarian artery.

(接上期第43页) 3 下一代通信接入对广播电视业务发展的影响 3.1 突破用户接入的瓶颈 随着宽带业务的发展,网络接入部分(最后1 km)的带宽瓶颈问题显露出来.目前,接入部分两侧都已跨入吉比特级以上的速率,如用户端广泛使用的PC,其内部传送速率已达到32 Gb/s,城域网或长途网的每波长速率也已达到2.5～10 Gb/s,两者都比接入部分高出至少3个数量级.可见,尽快打通接入部分的带宽瓶颈,各种宽带服务与应用才能开展起来,网络容量的潜力才能真正发挥.     

昆钢高炉铁水脱碳实验研究

研究了不同铁矿粉氧化剂以及矿粉加入量、铁水初始成分、铁水温度等因素对铁水碳、硅、锰氧化的影响.实验表明巴西粉与滇滩矿具有较好的脱碳效果,在高炉出铁温度范围内,用巴西粉或滇滩矿加入量为2%时,可平均脱去3.3%的碳、50%的硅和30%的锰.对铁水进行氧化脱碳处理后进行冷却,没有发现片状石墨析出.     

钟摆目标的微多普勒特征分析与提取

针对室内雷达目标的分类和识别问题,建立了室内钟摆目标的微动数学模型和回波模型,分析了室内钟摆运动产生的微多普勒特征.通过仿真钟摆目标的雷达回波,采用平滑伪Winger-Ville时频分析方法,提取了钟摆目标的微多普勒特征.结果表明:室内钟摆运动产生的微多普勒特征是周期为1/2钟摆周期的正弦调制.从仿真回波中提取的微多普勒特征与理论推导一致,验证了模型及理论分析的正确性.     

A retrograde fluorescent-labeling study of direct relationship between the limbic (anterodorsal and anteroventral thalamic nuclei) and the visual system in the albino rat

Case-control methodology was used to assess lung cancer risk from exposure to arsenic in air, employing data from former workers in different units at the Chuquicamata copper mine and smelter complex. Thirty two workers from this complex were identified among the lung cancer deaths that occurred in the Northern region of Chile between 1987 and 1991. Each case was matched on age and sex, with controls that had a similar date of enrolment in the company. Available data on arsenic concentrations in air for six work sites were compiled from 1952 to 1991 and these were used to categorize the workplaces: Administrative area (1.6 micrograms/m3), Mine (2.3 micrograms/m3), Oxid Plant (3.1 micrograms/m3), Workshop and Services (9.8 micrograms/m3), Sulphur Plant (8.4 micrograms/m3) and Smelter (201.7 micrograms/m3). The results indicate an Odds Ratio of 5.7 (Fisher's p = 0.016) of dying from lung cancer among workers of the smelter compared with the rest of the workers.     

新工艺制备矿渣微晶玻璃初探

目前制备矿渣微晶玻璃的方法主要有压延法、浇注法和烧结法,在充分吸收浇注法和烧结法优点的基础上,提出一种制备矿渣微晶玻璃的新工艺.并以钽铌尾矿为主要原料,基础玻璃组成选择在CaO-Al2O3-SiO2系统的玻璃形成区内,利用DTA、XRD和SEM等测试办法研究了热处理工艺制度对晶化过程、晶相组成、显微结构的影响.结果表明,采用新工艺制备微晶玻璃在实验室是可行的,热处理工艺制度的变化会影响玻璃的析晶转变过程和微晶玻璃的微观结构.     

保心包贴膜对稳定型心绞痛患者血浆内皮素和一氧化氮水平的影响

目的 研究保心包贴膜对稳定型心绞痛(SAP)患者血浆内皮素(ET)和一氧化氮(NO)水平的影响。方法 76例SAP患者随机单盲分为保心包组和硝酸异山梨酯组,分别给予保心包贴膜外敷心前区,每片4d(首次2片),共6片20d;硝酸异山梨酯10mg,每日3次,po。观察治疗前后血浆ET和NO水平。结果 SAP患者治疗前血浆ET和NO水平分别显著高于和低于正常对照组(均P<0.01);治疗后保心包组和硝酸异山梨酯组ET和NO代谢失衡均显著改善,但以保心包组改善更为显著(P<0.05)。结论 保心包贴膜显著改善SAP患者ET和NO的代谢失衡,可能是其有效缓解心绞痛的机理之一。
