Object tracking is an important task in computer vision that is essential for higher level vision applications such as surveillance systems, human-computer interaction, industrial control, smart compression of video, and robotics. Tracking, however, cannot be easily accomplished due to challenges such as real-time processing, occlusions, changes in intensity, abrupt motions, variety of objects, and mobile platforms. In this paper, we propose a new method to estimate and eliminate the camera motion in mobile platforms, and accordingly, we propose a set of optimal feature points for accurate tracking. Experimental results on different videos show that the proposed method estimates camera motion very well and eliminate its effect on tracking moving objects. And the use of optimal feature points results in a promising tracking. The proposed method in terms of accuracy and processing time has desirable results compared to the state-of-the-art methods. 相似文献

The objective is to exploit the properties of the GaInNAs/GaAs alloy compressive strain structure to design a laser diode likely to meet the needs of optical communications. Modelling concerns mainly the study of the potentialities of thermal stability and dynamic response offered by these new techniques of electric and optical confinement. Band structure is modelled and typical quantum well properties are illustrated. A thorough study of the structural parameters is undertaken to take into account from the design criteria the temperature sensitivity. Energy sustainability is a complex problem that needs to be tackled holistically by equally addressing other aspects such as socio-economic to meet the strict CO2 emission targets. This paper builds upon our previous work on the effect of household transition on residential energy consumption where we developed a 3D urban energy prediction system (EvoEnergy) using the old UK panel data survey, namely, the British household panel data survey (BHPS). In particular, the aim of the present study is to examine the validity and reliability of EvoEnergy under the new UK household longitudinal study (UKHLS) launched in 2009. To achieve this aim, the household transition and energy prediction modules of EvoEnergy have been tested under both data sets using various statistical techniques such as Chow test. The analysis of the results advised that EvoEnergy remains a reliable prediction system and had a good prediction accuracy (MAPE 5%) when compared to actual energy performance certificate data. From this premise, we recommend researchers, who are working on data-driven energy consumption forecasting, to consider merging the BHPS and UKHLS data sets. This will, in turn, enable them to capture the bigger picture of different energy phenomena such as fuel poverty; consequently, anticipate problems with policy prior to their occurrence. Audio class-D amplifiers are widely used in industrial and consumer portable electronic devices, such as mobile phones, thanks to their high efficiency. However, these amplifiers have a limited linearity due to their switching behavior and also a limited control bandwidth. To overcome these major drawbacks, this paper introduces a self-oscillating control technique based on the sliding mode theory which combines a large control bandwidth and a spread spectrum technique. A high power supply rejection, which is a crucial parameter in modules directly connected to a noisy battery, has also been achieved by introducing a variable hysteresis window. Theoretical analysis, behavioral and electrical simulations are discussed in detail in this paper. An integrated circuit using 0.13 μm CMOS process has been realized focused on mobile phone applications (0.8 W, 3.6 V and 8 Ω). The audio amplifier achieves 97 dB(A) signal-to-noise ratio, 0.02 % harmonic distortion and up to 80 dB of power supply rejection. The die area is smaller than 0.4 mm2 while keeping more than 90 % efficiency at 1 W. 相似文献
