Carbazole was electrochemically synthesized on carbon fiber microelectrodes (CFMEs) in different electrolyte and solvent media. The characterization of polycarbazole thin films formed on micron sized carbon fiber electrodes was performed by electrochemical methods (i.e., cyclic voltammetric measurements, solid state conductivity measurements (four point probe), spectrophotometric methods (ultraviolet/visible spectroscopy (UV–vis), ex situ spectroelectrochemistry, fourier transform infrared reflectance spectroscopy (FTIR-ATR)) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The best electrolyte and solvent in regards to yield, conductivity and charge for the electro-grafting was sodium perchlorate in acetonitrile, whose conductivity was 3.60 mS cm−1, had a yield of 89% and had a charge of 5.50C. The effects of scan rate, feed ratio, supporting electrolyte and solvent type on the electropolymerization are discussed.  相似文献

A novel annular catalytic three-phase reactor is theoretically investigated for a second order hydrogenation reaction. The results indicate that the ratio of the gaseous reactant to the liquid reactant within the reaction zone of the annular reactor can be adjusted by changing the reactor dimensions and the concentration of the gaseous reactant in the feed. As a consequence, the annular reactor may have a significant advantage over the trickle-bed reactor with respect to the selectivities that may be achieved in the reactor.  相似文献

In this study, methanogenic Archaea diversity in an aerated landfill bioreactor filled with co-disposed incineration bottom ashes and shredded incombustible wastes was monitored and analyzed as a function of time using molecular techniques. Besides, the effects of insufficient air injection on the bioreactor performance and methanogenic diversity were evaluated thoroughly. Results indicated that rapid bio-stabilization of solid waste are possible with aerated landfill bioreactor at various oxygen and oxidation reduction potential levels. Slot-blot hybridization results of leachate samples collected from aerated landfill bioreactor showed that archaeal and bacterial activities increased as stabilization accelerated and bacterial populations constituted almost 95% of all microorganisms. The results of slot-blot hybridization and phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene revealed that Methanobacteriales and Methanomicrobiales were dominant species at the beginning while substituted by Methanosarcina-related methanogens close to the end of the operation of bioreactor.  相似文献

In this study, the sintering behaviour of silicon nitride (Si3N4) powders (having in situ form sintering aids/self-sintering additives) produced directly by the carbothermal reduction and nitridation (CRN) process is reported. The sintering of as-synthesised α-phase Si3N4 powders was studied, and the results were compared with a commercial powder. The α-Si3N4 powders, as-received contains magnesium, yttrium or lithium–yttrium-based oxides that were shaped with cold isostatic pressing and tape casting techniques. The compacts and tape casted samples are then pressureless-sintered at 1650–1750 °C for up to 2 h. After sintering, the density and the amount of β-phase formation were examined in relation to the sintering temperature and time. The highest density value of 3.20 g cm?3 was obtained after only 30 min of pressureless sintering (at 1700 °C) of Si3N4 powders produced by CRN from silica initially containing 5 wt.% Y2O3. Silicon nitride powders produced by the CRN process performed similarly or even better than results from the pressureless sintering process compared with the commercial one.  相似文献

This paper focuses on cell loading and family scheduling in a cellular manufacturing environment. The performance measure is minimising the maximum tardiness of jobs. What separates this study from others is the presence of individual due dates for every job in a family and also allowing family splitting among cells. Three methods are examined in order to solve this problem, namely mathematical modelling, genetic algorithms (GA) and heuristics. The results showed that GA is capable of finding the optimal solution with varying frequency of 60–100% and it is efficient as compared to the mathematical modelling especially for larger problems in terms of execution times. The heuristics, on the other hand, were easy to implement but they could not find the optimal solution. The results of experimentation also showed that family splitting was observed in all multi-cell optimal solutions and therefore it can be concluded that family splitting is a good strategy for the problem considered in this paper.  相似文献

Supercapacitor properties of rGO, CuO, PEDOT and rGO/CuO at [rGO]o/[CuO]o?=?1:1; 1:1.5; 1:2 and rGO/CuO/PEDOT nanocomposite at [rGO]o/[CuO]o/[EDOT]o?=?1:1:1; 1:1:3; 1:1:5 were investigated using chemical reduction of GO and in-situ polymerisation process. SEM-EDX, HRTEM, BET surface area analysis confirm the nanocomposite formations. Nanocomposite materials are also analysed through FTIR-ATR, Raman, TGA-DTA, GCD, CV and EIS. The highest specific capacitance of C sp?=?156.7 F/g at 2?mV/s is determined as rGO/CuO/PEDOT at [rGO]o/[CuO]o/[EDOT]o?=?1:1:5. In addition, two-electrode supercapacitor device for rGO/CuO/PEDOT at [rGO]o/[CuO]o/[EDOT]o?=?1:1:5 are found to provide a maximum specific energy (E?=?14.15 Wh/kg at 20?mA) and specific power (P?=?24730 W/kg at 50?mA), electrical serial resistance (ESR?=?13.33 Ω) with good capacity retention after 3000 cycles. An equivalent circuit model of LR1(CR2)(QR3) is proposed to interpret the EIS data. The supercapacitor performance of the rGO/CuO/PEDOT nanocomposite electrode indicates the synergistic effect of hybrid supercapacitors.  相似文献

In this study, N-pyrrole (Py), N-phenylpyrrole (PhPy), and 1[4-methoxyphenyl]-1H-pyrrole (MPhPy) homopolymers were synthesized electrochemically onto carbon fiber microelectrodes (CFMEs). The influences of the substituent effect on electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) were studied comparatively. All the monomers were electrodeposited in 0.05 M tetraethyl ammonium perchlorate (TEAP)/dichloromethane (CH2Cl2) solution and characterized by cyclic voltammetry (CV), Fourier transform infrared reflectance spectrophotometry (FTIR-ATR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and atomic force microscopy (AFM). The morphological study reveals that the polymers were deposited as a continuous and well adhered film to surface of the CFME. An equivalent electrical circuit for three different monomers on CFMEs was proposed and experimental data were simulated to obtain the numerical values of circuit components. All results support the high quality film deposition that resulted in desired electronic properties due to the electron donating behaviors of substituent group of phenyl and methoxy.  相似文献

CdxZn1−xO films have been deposited by sol–gel spin-coating method onto glass substrates. The Cd/Zn ratio in solution was changed from 0 to 1. Zinc acetate dehydrates, cadmium acetate dehydrates, 2-methoxyethanol and monoethanolamine were used as a starting material (zinc and cadmium), solvent and stabilizer, respectively. The crystal structure and orientation of the films were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns. XRD patterns show that the films are polycrystalline nature. As x varies from 0 to 1, it was observed that the crystal structure changed from wurtzite (ZnO) to cubic (CdO) structure. The optical properties of these films have been investigated by means of the optical transmittance and reflectance spectra. A significant change in optical absorption edge, optical band gap and optical constant with variation in composition was observed.  相似文献
