Psychological testing of 63 normal subjects and 84 patients with keratocone was carried out separately for men and women aged 18-64 years using 11 scores of a brief multifactorial questionnaire for personality examination (BMQP). Comparison of averaged profiles of examined men and women with keratocone showed features of sensitive and psychasthenic personalities. According to BMQP scores, the population of men with keratocone is characterized by increased levels of psychasthenia and schizophrenia, whereas women develop depression, psychasthenia, and schizophrenia. 相似文献

A HPLC method with coulometric detection has been established to carry out the separation of the three nitrofuran derivatives, nitrofurantoin, furazolidone and furaltadone. A Nova-Pak C18 column (150 x 3.9 mm) and a Coulochem II detector from ESA have been used. After obtaining the hydrodynamic curves of the three compounds in the porous graphite electrode a potential of -600 mV was selected as the working potential. The influence of other variables such as mobile phase composition and flow-rate were studied. The mobile phase considered as an optimum was acetonitrile-0.1 M aqueous solution of sodium perchlorate (28:72), with 0.5% glacial acetic acid. The oxygen of the mobile phase was removed with a vacuum system on-line and a nitrogen stream was used to remove the oxygen of the samples. The calibration graphs and the detection limits were established. The method proposed was used, with good results, for the determination of the three compounds in milk. 相似文献

Changes in the mu-rhythm power in response to sound (non-specific reactivity, NR) and related with the actual and imaginary movement with the right and left hand in response to sound (specific reactivity, SR) were studied in 38 right-handed patients with subdepressive psychogenic (PD) and endogenous (ED) disorders before and after successful complex treatment (pharmacotherapy and acupuncture) in comparison with 23 healthy subjects. The successful treatment was found to be accompanied by a certain extent of normalization of the disturbed SR which was different in PD and ED. The more complete recovery of the normal reactions in PD was mainly accounted for by the relative decrease in the NR and increase in the SR. The ED treatment predominantly modified the SR. Substantial reorganization of interhemispheric relations during movements in the PD patients resulted in disappearance of the abnormal ipsilateral reactions and transition to the contralateral reactions of the sensorimotor cortex. 相似文献

The effect of metal cations on copper-catalyzed lipid peroxidation (LPO) of low density lipoproteins (LDL) was examined. The presence of metal cations in the incubation media containing LDL (0.8 mg protein/ml) and CuSO4 (0-80 microM) influenced on LPO of LDL as evident by the measurement of TBARS. With the concentrations of CuSO4 less than 10 microM, the metal cations caused an increase in LDL peroxidation. Zn2+ appeared to be the most effective inductor, Mn2+ was less effective, and the influence of Ca2+ and Mg2+ was insignificant. With greater CuSO4 concentrations Mg2+ showed no effect on TBARS formation in LDL while the addition of other nontransition metal cations to the incubation mixture led to the inhibition of LDL peroxidation. The capacity for inhibition decreased in the row Mn2+ > Zn2+ > Ca2+ > Mg2+. The possible mechanism explaining these results may be in the competition of metal ions for copper binding sites on LDL. Our results allow to suggest the existence of two types of copper binding sites on LDL, tight-binding sites which are non-effective in LPO and effective weak-binding sites. 相似文献

Effect of splenin (1 ml) and its fractions (0.5 ml) on adrenocortical function was studied after a single intramuscular injection of the preparations into rats. Splenin and its fractions containing water-soluble substances reduced the content of ascorbic acid in the rat adrenals thereby indicating the increased synthesis of adrenocortical hormones. Adenosine-5-monophosphate is one of the basic biological substances contained by splenin and its water-soluble fractions. It produces a stimulant effect on the synthesis of adrenocortical hormones. 相似文献

Human thromboxane (TX) synthase (EC 5.3.99.5) was produced by the baculovirus expression system using cDNA encoding human TX synthase [(1991) Biochem. Biophys. Res. Commun. 78, 1479-1484]. A recombinant baculovirus TXS7 was expressed in Spodoptera frugiperda Sf9 insect cells. The expressed protein was recognized by monoclonal antibody, Kon 7 raised against human TX synthase [(1990) Blood 76, 80-85]. The recombinant TX synthase catalyzed the conversion of prostaglandin (PG) H2 to TXA2 and 12-hydroxy-heptadecatrienoic acid (HHT). Both conversions of PGH2 to TXA2 and HHT by the expressed TX synthase were completely inhibited by a specific TX synthase inhibitor, OKY-046 (5 microM). 相似文献
