For development of an optimized red dopant in the organic light emitting devices (OLEDs), new iridium complexes containing 2,3-dpqx derivatives as a ligand were prepared. The ligands were prepared according to Friedlander reaction. The complexes, Ir(2,3-dpqx-F2)2(acac) (2,3-dpqx-F2 = 2,3-bis(4-fluorophenyl)-quinoxaline; acac = acetylacetonate) and Ir(6-Me-2,3-dpqx-F2)2(acac) (6-Me-2,3-dpqx-F2 = 2,3-bis(4-fluorophenyl)-6-methylquinoxaline) were synthesized from the two-step reactions of IrCl3·xH2O with the corresponding ligand and characterized by 1H NMR, mass spectrometry and elemental analysis. Ir(2,3-dpqx-F2)2(acac) and Ir(6-Me-2,3-dpqx-F2)2(acac) exhibited the luminescence peaks at 632 and 630 nm, respectively. Their UV-spectra showed the strong 3MLCT transition due to the strong coupling between the 5d orbital of the iridium center and the highest occupied molecular orbitals (HOMOs) of the ligands. The organic light emitting devices employing these compounds as the dopant were prepared and their electroluminescence was investigated. Both of the complexes exhibited the phosphorescence close to the saturated red emission at the CIE coordinate of x = 0.68, y = 0.31.  相似文献

Any additional loads applied to a damaged structure can aggravate its instability and thus, the impact of successive earthquakes need to be considered. This study proposed a quantitative assessment model for the fragility of a damaged structure subjected to aftershock. Mean period and the strong motion duration were considered as characteristics of earthquake motions. Simulation models of two reinforced concrete structures and one steel structure were selected to examine the applicability of the model. Based on the suggested fragility and residual deformation coefficients, critical earthquake sequences for each structure were identified. The proposed model was efficient in selecting critical earthquake sequences by using the limited number of aftershocks, and these sequences are expected to be useful indicators in the establishment of a retrofit plan according to the predicted structural response and target performance levels.  相似文献

This article proposes a model updating technique based on modal participation factors for a beam structure. In this model updating technique, the error functions of the dynamic characteristic differences between measurement and model are generated as the number of modes under consideration and minimized using the multiobjective optimization techniques. A modal influence factor defined by modal participation factors for each mode is presented for the selection of the best solution from among Pareto solutions. The selection rule represented in this article makes it possible to reflect the contributions of each mode on the behavior of a structure. The model is updated using natural frequencies measured in an impact hammer test of a beam structure and the validity of the updated model is confirmed by the strain responses measured from the test. It is found that the bending stiffness of the beam structure as the parameter for model updating can be identified by the proposed techniques. Furthermore, through comparing the models updated by the simple sum model updating and the technique in this research, it is verified that the proposed technique is more appropriate for the model updating.  相似文献

This article presents a distributed nondominated sorting genetic algorithm II (NSGA‐II) for optimal seismic retrofit design using buckling restrained braces (BRBs) on a cluster of multi‐core PCs. In the formulation, two conflicting objective functions of the initial BRB installation cost required for seismic retrofitting and damage cost that can be incurred by earthquakes expected during the life cycle of the structure were minimized. Because time‐consuming nonlinear structural analyses are required for fitness evaluations of individuals in every generation, parallelism at candidate design level or individual level is exploited by assigning fitness evaluations for individuals to slave core processors evenly. The distributed algorithm is applied to seismic retrofit design of 2D steel frame structure and 3D irregular reinforced concrete structure. The performance of the distributed NSGA‐II was assessed based on three criteria: convergence of the distributed algorithm, efficiency of distributed computing, and quality of optimal solutions. Implementation of the distributed algorithm on the multi‐core cluster consisting of up to 64 core processors resulted in relatively high speedups or efficiencies of the distributed optimization without deteriorating the quality of the optimal solutions.  相似文献

In multi‐modal interactions including haptics, problems such as input sensor noise, temporal mismatch between graphics and haptics, and non‐constant refresh rates may cause non‐smooth force/torque display. This paper proposes temporal smoothing technique for haptic interaction using a sensing glove in multi‐modal applications. The proposed technique employs two processes: (1) a noise reduction method is applied to reduce jitter noise at the sensors in the sensing glove and (2) an adaptive force extrapolation is applied for time‐varying haptic and video frame rates. To demonstrate the performance of the proposed method, we developed a test platform to assess a simple box model and relatively complex models such as gamephone, portable media player (PMP). It was subsequently demonstrated that the proposed method can support smooth haptic interactions in multi‐modal applications where a haptic device and a sensing glove are used. Colloidal Au‐amplified surface plasmon resonance (SPR), like traditional SPR, is typically used to detect binding events on a thin noble metal film. The two major concerns in developing colloidal Au‐amplified SPR lie in 1) the instability, manifested as a change in morphology following immersion in organic solvents and aqueous solutions, and 2) the uncontrollable interparticle distance, determining probe spacing and inducing steric hindrance between neighboring probe molecules. This may introduce uncertainties into such detecting techniques, degrade the sensitivity, and become the barricade hampering colloidal Au‐based transducers from applications in sensing. In this paper, colloidal Au‐amplified SPR transducers are produced by using ultrathin Au/Al2O3 nanocomposite films via a radio frequency magnetron co‐sputtering method. Deposited Au/Al2O3 nanocomposite films exhibit superior stability, and average interparticle distances between Au nanoparticles with similar average sizes can be tuned by changing surface coverage. These characteristics are ascribed to the spacer function and rim confinement of dielectric Al2O3 and highlight their advantages for application in optimal nanoparticle‐amplified SPR, especially when the probe size is smaller than the target molecule size. This importance is demonstrated here for the binding of protein (streptavidin) targets to the probe (biotin) surface. In this case, the dielectric matrix Al2O3 is a main contributor, behaving as a spacer, tuning the concentration of Au nanoparticles, and manipulating the average interparticle distance, and thus guaranteeing an appropriate number of biotin molecules and expected near‐field coupling to obtain optimal sensing performance.  相似文献

Evaluating performance of individual features of WiMAX technology is a topic of widespread discussion. Currently, there is no quantitative way of measuring WiMAX technology so that wireless operators can meet their design objectives. This paper outlines a set of design criteria for WiMAX and provides a decision-making aid that ranks the importance of criteria using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). This ranking should sufficiently reflect market expectations of the relative importance of various design criteria. A model integrating AHP priorities with enhanced Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is the basis for formulating a technological value in simple,comparable format. A case study is provided to show how this technological value is used to evaluate a three year network deployment plan. In the future, this model could be extended to WiMAX equipment suppliers for the purpose of validating performance targets of individual criteria, and enhancing supplier roadmaps for future network development.  相似文献

Micro EDM using conventional pulse generators such as the RC type or transistor type with water as the dielectric fluid suffers from poor accuracy of machined structures due to electrolytic corrosion. In this study, a new high frequency bipolar pulse generator for micro EDM in water was developed in order to prevent electrolytic corrosion. The new pulse generator produced a high frequency bipolar pulse possessing a positive pulse duration of several hundred nanoseconds with a high repetition rate provided to the machining gap. Discharge characteristics of micro EDM using the new pulse generator were investigated. Machining characteristics were also investigated according to machining conditions such as the repetition rate, positive voltage, capacitance and resistivity. Using the new pulse generator, micro holes without electrolytic corrosion were successfully fabricated in deionized water and tap water. Machining time, tool wear and clearance using the new pulse generator in deionized water decreased compared with those using the RC circuit in kerosene.  相似文献
