New semiconductor -ray detectors based on CdZnTe have been developed in the last few years, and they are now being widely used. Their advantages are small size and possibility of operating without cooling. In the present work, these detectors are used to measure the radiation from spent fuel assemblies in holding ponds and dry storage sites, unirradiated nuclear materials, and radioactive wastes. The results are analyzed and compared with other types of detectors. The possible applications of CdZnTe-type detectors are determined.  相似文献

Ln0.6Sr0.4Co0.8Fe0.2O3 – (Ln = La, Pr, Nd, Sm) solid solutions are prepared by a procedure which makes it possible to markedly reduce the synthesis temperature and duration. A new type of hybrid nanocomposite material is produced via consecutive outer-sphere transformations of a Mo-containing cluster. Cluster monomers with the general formula (Bu4N)2[(Mo6Cl8)(CF3COO)6 – n CH2=CHCOO n ] (n= 1–3) are synthesized and characterized for the first time. The bulk radical copolymerization of such monomers with acrylic acid is an interfacial process and leads to the formation of hybrid (metal-containing polymeric) nanocomposites. The synthesized copolymers (1–5 wt % Mo, M 270000, 5–24 cluster units per polymer chain) are examined by nuclear magnetic resonance and IR spectroscopy. The results indicate that the copolymers contain stereoregular (syndiotactic) polyacrylic acid. The structure of the cluster-containing composites, the distribution of cluster units over the polymer chain, and the origin of stereoregularity in such systems are discussed. According to differential thermal analysis results, the introduction of clusters into the polymer chain has an insignificant effect on the thermal stability of the nanocomposites. The same is evidenced by the results on the molecular–topological properties of the nanocomposites.  相似文献

The advancements in mobile, wireless and positioning technologies have enabled applications and services such as route guiding and emergency call-out assistance. These and other similar services have become known as ‘location-based services’ (LBS). The literature on LBS development and deployment addresses technological issues (for example, usability and integration) and issues related to LBS implementation—including LBS business models, adoption and customer concerns and requirements. In the study presented here LBS development and deployment were investigated from a case study perspective and the LBS landscape is explored and analyzed. The study finds that while the regulatory environment has played a critical role as a success factor in the markets investigated some of innovative business approaches may have been equally important as customer demand generators. Economies on the road to deploying LBS should therefore focus on creating a supportive environment encouraging the development of services, which meet the identified needs and requirements of the target customer market.  相似文献

The mechanochemical solid-phase reactions of humic acid with Cu2+, Ni2+, and Cd2+ metal ions were studied. The analysis of the mineral composition of humic acids by atomic emission spectrometry showed an increase in the concentrations of Cu2+, Ni2+, and Cd2+ ions after mechanical treatment.  相似文献
