This paper is aimed to develop a digital signal processor (DSP) for controlling a solar cell and wind-turbine hybrid charging system. The DSP consists of solar cells, a wind turbine, a lead acid battery, and a buck-boost converter. The solar cells and wind turbine serve as the system's main power sources and the battery as an energy storage element. The output powers of solar cells and wind turbine have large fluctuations with the weather and climate conditions. These unstable powers can be adjusted by a buck-boost converter and thus the most suitable output powers can be obtained. This study designs a booster by using a dsPIC30F4011 digital signal controller as a core processor. The DSP is controlled by the perturbation and observation methods to obtain an effective energy circuit with a full 100 W charging system. Also, this DSP can, day and night, be easily controlled and charged by a simple program, which can change the state of the system to reach a flexible application based on the reading weather conditions. 相似文献

Compressionless routing (CR) is an adaptive routing framework which provides a unified framework for efficient deadlock free adaptive routing and fault tolerance. CR exploits the tight coupling between wormhole routers for flow control to detect and recover from potential deadlock situations. Fault tolerant compressionless routing (FCR) extends CR to support end to end fault tolerant delivery. Detailed routing algorithms, implementation complexity, and performance simulation results for CR and FCR are presented. These results show that the hardware for CR and FCR networks is modest. Further, CR and FCR networks can achieve superior performance to alternatives such as dimension order routing. Compressionless routing has several key advantages: deadlock free adaptive routing in toroidal networks with no virtual channels, simple router designs, order preserving message transmission, applicability to a wide variety of network topologies, and elimination of the need for buffer allocation messages. Fault tolerant compressionless routing has several additional advantages: data integrity in the presence of transient faults (nonstop fault tolerance), permanent fault tolerance, and elimination of the need for software buffering and retry for reliability. Control of integrating processes with long deadtime is a challenging problem. Using original Smith predictor control structure will result in an offset problem during load disturbance. Using the internal model control (IMC) principle to design the control structure will result in large overshoot during servo response. In this work, a simple modified Smith predictor controller design is proposed for this important type of system. The overall control structure has only two physically meaningful tuning parameters. One is used to set the speed of the closed-loop servo response and the other tuning parameter is used to set the speed of the closed-loop load response. Preservation of the morphological integrity of demineralized dentin collagen in its hydrated state may account for the success observed in wet-bonding procedures. This study investigated the micromorphological differences between moist- and dry-bonding techniques with the use of: (a) Aelitebond, an alcohol-based, water-free, single-component dentin adhesive primer system; and (b) a water-free, acetone-based experimental primer similar to the acetone-based, water-containing All-Bond 2, a two-component primer system. In the wet groups, acid-conditioned dentin surfaces were blotted so that they remained visibly moist prior to bonding. In the dry groups, dentin surfaces were air-dried for 30 sec. Following the bonding procedures, dentin discs in each group were laminated together by means of a chemical-cure resin and processed for scanning electron microscope (SEM) and transmission electron microscope (TEM) examination. Conditioning with 10% H3PO4 for 20 sec. produced complete demineralization of the outer dentin. In the wet groups, banded collagen and interfibrillar spaces could be observed at the surface of the acid-conditioned dentin. Complete wetting of the loosely arranged collagen fibrils by the resin resulted in the formation of a hybrid layer. In the dry groups, only a very thin hybrid layer was observed on the dentin surface, along the walls of the tubules, and along the course of their lateral branches. The absence of banded collagen and interfibrillar spaces within these areas suggested the existence of a collapsed dentin matrix along various liquid-vapor boundaries that restricted resin permeation into the subsurface intertubular matrix, producing an incompletely infiltrated "hybridoid region". 相似文献

1. A widespread mechanism of slow excitation throughout the nervous system involves overlapping changes in nonselective ion conductance and K+ conductance. We used whole cell patch-clamp recording to characterize such a nonselective conductance induced by neurotensin (NT) and other neurotransmitters in immunocytochemically identified dopaminergic neurons cultured from the rat ventral tegmental area (VTA). 2. The NT-induced inward current consisted of an initial peak and later "hump." The response was blocked reversibly by the nonpeptide NT-receptor antagonist SR48692, suggesting that it resulted from activation of NT receptors. 3. The channel was almost equally permeable to Na+ and K+, as determined from the reversal potential shift upon switching from Na+- to K(+)-containing external solution. The permeability of Cs+ was similar to that of Na+, as determined from the zero-current equation and average reversal potential in the 75 mM Na+ solution. Cl- was not significantly permeable. 4. In Ca(2+)-free external solution, the NT-induced current showed a fourfold increase in amplitude, and in high Mg2+ (20 mM) external solution, the NT-induced current showed an 80% decrease in amplitude, suggesting that external Ca2+ and Mg2+ could block the nonselective conductance. 5. The NT response was unaffected by loading the neurons with either the Ca2+ chelator 1,2-bis(2-aminophenoxy)ethane-N,N,N',N'-tetraacetic acid or with 1 mM ca2+. The nonselective conductance was therefore not Ca2+ activated. 6. Loading the neurons with cyclic GMP or cyclic AMP (each with the phosphodiesterase inhibitor isobutyl-methylxanthine) did not affect the NT response. The NT-induced nonselective conductance was therefore not cyclic nucleotide-activated. 7. The latency of the NT response was long (> or = 185 ms, average 406 ms, 30 degrees C), indicating that NT did not induce the conductance through ligand-gated channels. Thus, NT activated a slow nonselective cation conductance. 8. Neurokinin B, a metabotropic glutamate agonist, and muscarine elicited responses similar to the NT response. The NT response could be elicited after desensitizing the responses to these other neurotransmitters, indicating receptor specificity in the activation of the nonselective conductance. 相似文献

This article is a review of data (results of the authors' investigations and data from the literature) concerning neurochemical correlates of individual behavior in rats. The "emotional resonance" test was used for behavioral selection of rats. Individual behavior in this test is related to the differences in free radical-mediated processes, membrane lipid content, nitric oxide synthase activity, and cAMP pattern in cerebral macrostructures. Behavior-related differences may be revealed in intact animals; however, most of them are reactive (induced by significant external factors). These differences depend on age; they may be global, specific for selected brain regions, and/or related to interhemisphere lateralization of biochemical parameters. 相似文献

The target cells for gene therapy of cystic fibrosis lung disease are the well differentiated cells that line airway lumens. Employing cultures of airway epithelial cells that grow like "islands" and exhibit a continuum of cellular differentiation, we studied the mechanisms that render well differentiated cells more difficult to transfect with cationic liposomes than poorly differentiated cells. The poorly differentiated cells at the edge of the islands were transfectable with liposome-DNA complexes (pCMVbeta:LipofectACE = 1:5 (w/w)), whereas the more differentiated cells in the center of the islands were not. Evaluation of the steps leading to lipid-mediated transfection revealed that edge cells bound more liposome-DNA complexes, in part due to a more negative surface charge (as measured by cationized ferritin binding), and that edge cells internalized more liposome-DNA complexes than central cells. Edge cells exhibited receptor-mediated endocytosis of LDL, pinocytosis of 10-nm microspheres, and phagocytosis of 2-microm microspheres, whereas central cells were only capable of receptor-mediated endocytosis. Cytochalasin B, which inhibited pinocytosis by 65% and phagocytosis by 93%, decreased edge cell liposome-DNA complex entry by 50%. Potassium depletion, which decreased phagocytosis by >90% but had no effect on pinocytosis, inhibited edge cell liposome-DNA complex entry by 71%. These results indicate that liposome-DNA complexes enter edge cells via phagocytosis and that this pathway is not detectable in central cells. In conclusion, both reduced negative surface charge and absence of phagocytosis internalization pathways in relatively differentiated cells may explain differentiation-dependent decrements in cationic liposome-mediated gene transfer in airway epithelia. 相似文献

This article presents a versatile pattern synthesis algorithm for controlling the sidelobe level and nulling region for circular antenna arrays. Nonuniform fast Fourier transform using the min–max interpolation method is utilized to overcome the nonlinear feature of circular arrays. The major advantage of the proposed algorithm is low complexity, which is key for hardware implementation. Moreover, the proposed algorithm functions well in amplitude‐only pattern synthesis, which may be required for low‐cost array systems using attenuators instead of complete amplitude and phase adjustment modules. Additionally, element failure of antenna arrays can be minimized in practical operations by resynthesizing the pattern by using the remaining antennas to achieve satisfactory performance. Discovering the interactions between the persons mentioned in a set of topic documents can help readers construct the background of the topic and facilitate document comprehension. To discover person interactions, we need a detection method that can identify text segments containing information about the interactions. Information extraction algorithms then analyze the segments to extract interaction tuples and construct a network of person interaction. In this article, we define interaction detection as a classification problem. The proposed interaction detection method, called feature‐based interactive segment recognizer (FISER), exploits 19 features covering syntactic, context‐dependent, and semantic information in text to detect intra‐clausal and inter‐clausal interactive segments in topic documents. Empirical evaluations demonstrate that FISER outperformed many well‐known relation extraction and protein–protein interaction detection methods on identifying interactive segments in topic documents. In addition, the precision, recall, and F1‐score of the best feature combination are 72.9%, 55.8%, and 63.2%, respectively. 相似文献
