Effect of staphylococcal toxin on the electrophoretic mobility and zeta-potential magnitude of BALB/c strain mouse erythrocytes

Two hours after intraperitoneal injections of the staphylococcus toxin Lh=0.18 and Lh=0.15 (4 ml/kg) to BALB/c mice there was revealed a reduction of the electrophoretic mobility and of the zeta-potential of erythrocytes. In staphylococcus intoxication the value of zeta-potential varied within greater than normal range, this pointing to the individual sensitivity of mice to the toxin. The staphylococcus toxin caused the most significant reduction of the electrophoretic mobility and of the zeta-potential of erythrocytes in male mice of the BALB/c species.     

High-frequency inductance measures L-0170-2 of order III

Conclusion To the present time the development of general purpose apparatus for measurements of inductance at frequencies higher than 1 MHz answering to the ever-increasing requirements of industry has been quite complicated by the lack of the required standard inductance measures. Existing high-frequency measures of inductance (KIV and R-593) encompass frequencies only up to 10 MHz, and mainly have an insufficient accuracy class. The development and organization of mass production of high-frequency standard inductance measures of order III and class 0.2 affords the solution of the problem of creating and metrologically guaranteeing apparatus for the measurement of inductance at frequencies up to 30 MHz.L.N. Krasnova and V. A. Kalinovskii took part in the creation and investigation of the L-0170-2 inductance measures.     

Neutron transmutation doping of silicon 30Si monoisotope with phosphorus

Phosphorus-doped silicon ³⁰Si monoisotope samples with a highly homogeneous impurity distribution at a concentration of 5 × 10¹⁶ cm^?3 were obtained for the first time by means of neutron transmutation doping.
