In this article, the rational design of a physically coated TiO2-WO3 nanocube-polyaniline photocatalytic membrane (hierarchical) reactor for the efficient reduction of chromium (VI) under visible light is discussed. The incorporation of TiO2-WO3 in the polyaniline (PANI) membrane provides excellent hydrophilicity and high photo-corrosion resistance and facilitates the rapid permeation of water with a flux rate of 12 L/m2 h and higher Cr (VI) reduction. The exposure of bare PANI membranes in Cr (VI) solution leads to over-oxidation of PANI membrane and eventually leads to the destruction of the membrane. The hierarchical photocatalytic coating improves the lifetime of the membrane by blocking it from deprotonation. The photocatalytic membrane could offer 79.30% Cr (VI) reduction under visible light irradiation in a photocatalytic membrane reactor. After several reduction cycles, the membrane showed good self-cleaning ability. The present work suggests that TiO2-WO3 nanocube-coated PANI hierarchical membrane is a promising approach for the reduction and removal of Cr (VI) from wastewater. 相似文献

Intended for good productivity and perfect operation of the solar power grid a failure-free system is required. Therefore, thermal image processing with the thermal camera is the latest non-invasive (without manual contact) type fault identification technique which may give good precision in all aspects. The soiling issue, which is major productivity affecting factor may import from several reasons such as dust on the wind, bird mucks, etc. The efficient power production sufferers due to accumulated soil deposits reaching from 1%–7% in the county, such as India, to more than 25% in middle-east countries country, such as Dubai, Kuwait, etc. This research offers a solar panel soiling detection system built on thermal imaging which powers the inspection method and mitigates the requirement for physical panel inspection in a large solar production place. Hence, in this method, solar panels can be verified by working without disturbing production operation and it will save time and price of recognition. India ranks 3rd worldwide in the usage use age of Photovoltaic (PV) panels now and it is supported about 8.6% of the Nation’s electricity need in the year 2020. In the meantime, the installed PV production areas in India are aged 4–5 years old. Hence the need for inspection and maintenance of installed PV is growing fast day by day. Different variants of Paneer were prepared with cow milk (CM), buffalo milk (BM), skimmed milk powder (SMP) and blends (40:60, 50:50, 60:40) of SMP with CM/BM. The Paneer composition, texture, microstructure and spread of functional groups were correlated with the dielectric capacitance values. Results depicted a strong correlation (R2 > 0.95) between milk used for Paneer making and its proximate composition in terms of the capacitance value, and it was highest for CM followed by BM; 100% SMP Paneer recorded lowest values. The purpose of the present paper is to investigate the flow and heat transfer of thermal radiation on the Jeffery fluid flow within a microchannel for the effects of the superhydrophobic surface (SHS) within suction/injection. The governing differential equations of motion and heat transfer are transformed into nonlinear coupled ordinary differential equations (ODEs) using appropriate similarity transformations. The ODEs are solved along with boundary conditions by adopting Runge–Kutta with shooting technique. Symbolic computational software such as MATLAB, the solver bvp4c syntax examines the behavior of the relevant physical parameters. However, some effective emerging parameters on the flow problem reveal that the microchannel walls within the suction/injection parameter increase the temperature, and the SHS is heated. In contrast, without slip, the opposite behavior is rendered. It is clearly shown that the velocity profile diminishes with increasing the Prandtl number. Furthermore, it is noticed that velocity decreases for increasing values of Hartmann number. Comparison with available results for particular cases is an excellent agreement. 相似文献
