1H and 13C n.m.r. chemical shifts and also spin-lattice relaxation times of phospholipids, mainly egg yolk lecithin, were measured in organic solvents, especially aromatic solvents. The use of aromatic solvents promotes the difference in the magnetic shielding environment of the internal methylene protons of the fatty acyl chains and as a result, a doublet peak for the methylene groups was observed in the solvents, especially mesitylene. The 1H and 13C n.m.r. T1 measurements indicate the remarkable gradient in the motional freedom along the fatty acyl chains as well as the marked decrease in the motional freedom of the polar head group and also, the high-field component of the doublet peak for internal methylene protons has a shorter T1 value than the low-field component. Thus, it was concluded that the low-field component in the doublet comes from the methylene protons located relatively in the neighbourhood of the carbonyl groups and the high-field component the methylene protons located relatively in the neighbourhood of the terminal methyl groups of the fatty acyl chains. 相似文献

Dilute solution behaviour of poly(maleic anhydride-co-ethyl vinyl ether) and poly(maleic acid-co-ethyl vinyl ether) has been investigated by light scattering, osmotic pressure, and viscosity measurements. The molecular weights ( and ), the second virial coefficients A2, and the intrinsic viscosities [η] have been determined for three states of this copolymer: anhydride-form, H-form, and Na-salt independently. The constants in the Mark-Houwink relations were obtained for the above three states under different solvent conditions. The molecular weight of the anhydride-form is found to be higher than that of the acid-form or the Na-salt, suggesting the degradation in a process of hydrolysis. The second virial coefficient A2 as well as the Mark-Houwink relation indicates that the anhydride-form and H-form behave as flexible polymer chains in good solvents. However, the polymer coil of Na-salt is highly expanded even at saturated NaCl concentration. 相似文献

The corrosion behavior and strength degradation of alumina ceramics with 99%, 99.9%, and 99.99% Al2 O3 were studied in water at 300°C and 8.6 MPa for 1 to 10 d. The weight loss in alumina ceramics was mainly attributed to the dissolution of SiO2 and Na2 O grain-boundary impurities. Intergranular corrosion proceeded in the alumina ceramics by preferential attack at the grain boundaries. The extent of the strength reduction for corroded alumina ceramics was related to the impurity level in the alumina ceramics. 相似文献

The compaction of a Eu-doped Ca-α-SiAlON phosphor powder was performed by electrophoretic deposition (EPD). The effect on the adhesion and optical properties of the silica precursor as both a binder of the powder and a filler of the air voids were evaluated. The adhesion of the silica impregnated composite film to the silica glass substrate was characterized by the tape test. The improvement of the external quantum efficiency was confirmed from the PL spectra measurement after the silica impregnation. The temperature dependence of the external quantum efficiency was also investigated in order to discuss the advantage of using the silica precursor as a binder for high-brightness LED applications. 相似文献

We investigated the effect of Opuntia humifusa (O. humifusa) supplementation on bone density and related hormone secretion in growing male rats. Sixteen six-week-old male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into two groups; control diet group (CG, n = 8), and experimental diet group (EG, n = 8). The rats in the CG were given a control diet and those in the EG were given 5% O. humifusa added to the control diet for eight weeks. The serum OC level of the EG was significantly higher than that of the CG, and the serum parathyroid hormone (PTH) level of EG was significantly lower than that of the CG. In addition, the femoral and tibial BMD of the EG were significantly higher values than those of the CG, and the tibial BMC of the EG was significantly higher than that of the CG. These results suggest that O. humifusa supplementation has a positive effect on bone density by suppressing PTH and increasing the OC level in growing male rats. 相似文献

Purification of functional DNA nanostructures is an essential step in achieving intended functions because misfolded structures and the remaining free DNA strands in a solution can interact and affect their behavior. However, due to hydrophobicity-mediated aggregation, it is difficult to purify DNA nanostructures modified with hydrophobic molecules by conventional methods. Herein, we report the purification of cholesterol-modified DNA nanostructures by using a novel surfactant-assisted gel extraction. The addition of sodium cholate (SC) to the sample solution before structure folding prevented aggregation; this was confirmed by gel electrophoresis. We also found that adding sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) to the sample inhibited structural folding. The cholesterol-modified DNA nanostructures prepared with SC were successfully purified by gel extraction, and their ability to bind to the lipid membrane surfaces was maintained. This method will facilitate the purification of DNA nanostructures modified with hydrophobic molecules and expand their applicability in the construction of artificial cell-like systems. 相似文献

Selectivities for skeletal isomerizations of n-butane and n-pentane catalyzed by typical solid acids such as Cs2.5H0.5PW12O40 (Cs2.5), SO42−/ZrO2, WO3/ZrO2, and H-ZSM-5 and their Pt-promoted catalysts were compared. High selectivities for n-butane and low selectivity for n-pentane were observed over Cs2.5 and SO42−/ZrO2, while H-ZSM-5 was much less selective, and WO3/ZrO2 was highly selective for both reactions. The Pt-promoted solid acids were usually selective for these reactions in the presence of H2 except for Pt-H-ZSM-5 for n-butane isomerization. Both the acid strength and pore structure would be factors influencing the selectivity. Mechanism of skeletal isomerization of n-butane was investigated by using 1,4-13C2-n-butane over Cs2.5 and Pt–Cs2.5. It was concluded that n-butane isomerization proceeded mainly via monomolecular pathway with intramolecular rearrangement on Pt–Cs2.5, while it occurred through bimolecular pathway with intermolecular rearrangement on Cs2.5. The higher selectivity on Pt–Cs2.5 would be brought about by the monomolecular mechanism. In the skeletal isomerization of cyclohexane, Pt–Cs2.5/SiO2 was highly active and selective, while Pt–Cs2.5 was less selective. Control in the acid strength of Cs2.5 by the supporting would be responsible for the high selectivity. 相似文献

The rheological behavior and electrophoretic deposition (EPD) of ZnO nanopowder (nano-ZnO) in aqueous media have been described. A cationic polyelectrolyte (polyethylenimine, PEI) was used to disperse and modify the surfaces of the ZnO nanoparticles. The rheological properties of the ZnO aqueous suspension were investigated by measuring the viscosity versus the pH and amount of dispersant. The EPD processing was conducted via cathodic electrodeposition, using stable suspensions with low viscosity, and the depositional behavior was investigated. Bubble-free nano-ZnO deposits with uniform microstructures were successfully obtained, which was an indication of good sintering behavior. 相似文献

The enzyme glucose oxidase (GOD) was immobilized on the nonwoven fabrics, which have excellent properties in diffusivity of substrates, mechanical strength, and handling, with Bombyx mori silk fibroin gel. The nonwoven fabrics of silk fibroin, viscose rayon, poly-ethyleneterephthalate, 6-nylon, and polypropylene with activated surface by fluoline treatment were used. The stabilities of GOD to heat or pH changes were much improved by the immobilization as well as the case of the GOD immobilized in the silk fibroin membrane. Among nonwoven fabrics, silk fibroin was the most excellent support material for the immobilization of GOD although all nonwoven fabrics used here are able to be used as the support materials. The increase of the sensitivity was observed when the glucose sensor was made with the GOD immobilized on nonwoven silk fabrics as four times compared with the case of the GOD immobilized in the silk fibroin membrane. 相似文献
