Semicircular canal function following a flight aboard biosatellite "Cosmos-936"

The nystagmic reflex, latent period, total and mean number of events, and their duration were measured in the rats flown for 18.5 days aboard the biosatellite Cosmos-936 under the conditions of weightlessness and artificial gravity. The studies demonstrated that prolonged weightlessness did not influence the receptor formations and centers of semi-circular canals. A long exposure to artificial gravity brought about a decrease in reactivity and sensitivity of semi-circular canals. The mechanisms of these phenomena are discussed.     

Human placental morphology as an index of features of maternal-fetal relationships

Principle possibilities of the complex evaluation of the mother-fetus exchange were studied by means of morphological investigations of the human placenta in normality, in vesicular mole, late toxicoses, hemolytic disease of newborns and malformations of the fetus. The investigation of the ratio of the villi of different size, deposition of fibrinoid on their surface, the change of the amount of cytotrophoblastic elements, cells of Kaschenko-Hofbauer and the polymerity of the basic substance are of diagnostic value. The authors propose the basal lamina of the placenta to be included into the scheme of the examination of placenta.     

色谱斜率法测过量自由焓模型参数——VG公式的预测与多解问题

本文就十三个体系研究了色谱斜率法VG公式的适用条件.结果表明,除了该公式本身要求实验柱温在溶质沸点附近外,VLE预测结果还取决于过量自由焓模型的选择.对于使用UNIQUAC方程,在溶质沸点以下0～5.5℃的温度范围内可获得满意的VLE预测结果,对于Wilson方程,如果在求解Wilson参数的过程中不出现多解,则在溶质沸点以下3～5℃的温度范围内可获得满意的VLE预测结果.不论对UNIQUAC方程还是Wilson方程,一旦在求解方程参数的过程中出现多解,则应用本文所提出的“最小解原则”可以很好地进行VLE预测.     

Glossary as an element of data input standardization in the CBASE32 program complex

The paper reports the release of Glossary, a reference book of chemical compounds and component of CBASE32 (32-digital version) program of graphic processing of structural data. The glossary makes it possible to standardize the representation of structural and factual data on chemical compounds and to simplify the procedure of compounds and reactions input into the VINITI Base of structural data of chemistry.
