Functionalized indolizines were prepared by Lewis acid‐catalyzed cyclizations of 3‐(pyridin‐2‐yl)‐propiolates with enones. This new type of reaction provides a convenient and regioselective approach to ester‐substituted indolizine derivatives which are not readily available by other methods. Based on density function theory (DFT) calculations, a mechanism of the reaction has been suggested.  相似文献

ABSTRACT: The authors report single-photon emission from InGaAs quantum dots grown by droplet epitaxy on (100) GaAs substrates using a solid-source molecular beam epitaxy system at elevated substrate temperatures above 400 [DEGREE SIGN]C without post-growth annealing. High-resolution micro-photoluminescence spectroscopy exhibits sharp excitonic emissions with lifetimes ranging from 0.7 to 1.1 ns. The coherence properties of the emitted photons are investigated by measuring the first-order field correlation function.  相似文献

This study assesses if specially designed fluorescent liposomes can be used as contrast agent for near-infrared fluorescence (NIRF) optical imaging of cultured macrophages in vitro and for NIRF imaging of inflammatory processes, like edema, in an in vivo mouse model. Fluorescent liposomes are prepared by the film hydration and extrusion method using cholesterol, L-phosphatidylcholine, and the NIR fluorescent dye DY-676-C(18) ester. Photon correlation spectroscopy and flow cytometry reveal that fluorescent liposomes are structurally stable for up to 133 days. Distinct uptake/labeling of cultured murine J774 macrophages is demonstrated by confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM), flow cytometry, and macroscopic NIRF imaging system at wavelengths >670 nm. Moreover, CLSM analysis reveals fluorescence signals within intracellular compartments. Ear edema is induced in mice (n = 16) by subcutaneous injection of zymosan A. Whole-body NIRF imaging is performed after intravenous injection (0-24 h) of fluorescent liposomes (55 nmol dye per kg body weight). Distinctly higher fluorescence intensities (1613.6 +/- 61.7 a.u.) are detected at inflamed areas of diseased mice as compared to controls (892.8 +/- 19.4 a.u.). Furthermore, cell isolated from ear lavage reveals the presence of labeled F4/80 positive tissue macrophages. Taken together, the results indicate both that mouse macrophages labeled with fluorescent liposomes can be detected in vitro with fluoro-optical methods and that in vivo optical imaging of inflammatory processes with fluorescent liposomes as contrast agent is feasible. Possibly, early stages of other inflammatory diseases could also be detected by the proposed diagnostic tool in the long term.  相似文献

Phosphorus (P) is considered the ultimate limiting nutrient for plants in most natural systems and changes in the distribution of inorganic and organic P forms during soil development have been well documented. In particular, microbial activity has been shown to be an important control on P cycling but its contribution in building up the pool of plant-available P during soil development is still poorly quantified. To determine the importance of different biological processes on P cycling, we analyzed the isotopic composition of oxygen in phosphate (δ(18)O-Pi) from the parent material, soil microorganisms, the available P pool, and from the vegetation along a 150-year soil chronosequence of a glacier forefield. Our results show that at all sites, δ(18)O-Pi of microbial Pi is within the range expected for the temperature-dependent equilibrium between phosphate and water. In addition, the isotopic signature of available Pi is close to the signature of microbial Pi, independently of the contribution of parent material Pi, vegetation Pi or Pi released from organic matter mineralization. Thus, we show that phosphate is cycled through soil microorganisms before being released to the available pool. This isotopic approach demonstrates for the first time in the field and over long time scales, and not only through controlled experiments, the role of the microbial activity in cycling of P in soils.  相似文献

A new method to assess the antibiotic potency by MRI has been developed. Correlating 1H NMR spectra of bacterial cultures with the extracellular parameters T 2, OD600, and pH, a relationship between cell growth and T 2 variations was established. T 2 is influenced by chemical exchange that depends on pH, composition, and concentration of the medium. Changes in the medium from bacterial metabolism are reflected in alternating T 2 values. At 17.6 T, growth curves based on T 2 values were measured simultaneously of several cultures of Streptococcus vestibularis. From T 2 growth curves in the presence of varying concentrations of vancomycin, the minimum inhibitory concentration of the antibiotic could be determined to be 0.33 ± 0.08 μM. This value was in good agreement with the result obtained by the conventional broth microdilution. In principle, T 2 growth curves can be determined on a large number of cultures simultaneously and may potentially be used as a novel tool in high through-put screening of novel anti-infective substances.  相似文献

Directional strain sensing is essential for advanced sensor applications in the field of human-machine interfaces and healthcare. Here, the angle dependent anisotropic strain sensitivity caused by charge carriers percolating through cross-linked gold nanoparticle (GNP) networks is studied and these versatile materials are used for the fabrication of wearable triaxial pulse and gesture sensors. More specifically, the anisotropic response of 1,9-nonanedithiol cross-linked GNP films is separated into geometric and piezoresistive contributions by fitting the measured data with an analytic model. Hereby, piezoresistive coefficients of g11 ∼ 32 and g12 ∼ 21 are extracted, indicating a slightly anisotropic response behavior of the GNP-based material. To use the material for healthcare applications, arrangements of three GNP transducers are patterned lithographically and fully embedded into a highly flexible silicone polymer (Dragon Skin 30). The new encapsulation method ensures good and robust electrical contacts and enables facile handling and protection from external influences. A facile read-out with wireless data transmission using off-the-shelf electrical components underlines the great potential of these devices for applications as skin-wearable healthcare sensors.  相似文献

Herein this investigation, profiled high interstitial austenitic stainless steel parts are burnished on a profile-rolling machine, and afterward, the wear behavior is analyzed in a melt of glass-reinforced polypropylene. Wear and corrosion resistance are significant properties of steel parts in the plastics and food industries. The high work-hardening ability of high interstitial austenitic stainless steel enables burnishing parts with a significant local hardness to increase up to maximum values of ≈600 HV 1. Wear tests on a recently developed test stand reveal that the burnished austenitic stainless steel surface performs similarly to a nitrided surface of the standard nitriding steel 31CrMoV9 + QT with a hardness of ≈830 HV 0.5. Regarding the given advantage of corrosion resistance, it is concluded that roller burnishing supports the applicability of high interstitial austenitic stainless steel in plastics and food industries.  相似文献
