DNA-DNA hybridization in microdilution wells was successfully used to determine the overall genomic similarity among Sarothamnus scoparius microsymbionts isolated from Poland and Japan and representatives of Bradyrhizobium species including Bradyrhizobium sp. (Lupinus) USDA3045. Geographically different S. scoparius rhizobia diverged into two genomospecies at the DNA-DNA similarity level of approximately 49%. Polish isolates exhibited high DNA similarity levels to the DNA of Bradyrhizobium japonicum strains (approximately 78%) and formed a common genomospecies. Japanese S. scoparius rhizobia were allocated into a new genomic species due to the low similarity levels of their DNA to the DNA of representative strains of the Bradyrhizobium genus (from 19% to 52%). 相似文献

The activity of adenosine desaminase AMP-desaminase and glutaminase was studied in blood serum and the liver tissue at the normal state and with acute, subacute experimental affection of the liver as well as with the CCl4-induced liver cirrhosis and obturation jaundice in different periods. It is shown that the degree and trend of changes in the enzyme activity in the affected liver depend on the character and duration of the affecting agents action. The acute and subacute affection of the liver and one-day obturation jaundice are accompanied by a decrease in the activity of all the studied enzymes in the liver tissue. With cirrhosis induced by a multiple administration of CCl4 for three months or with a month obturation jaundice the activity of glutaminase in the liver tissue lowers and that of adenosine desaminase and AMP-desaminase increased sharply. In blood serum the activity of adenosine desaminase and AMP-desaminase increases more considerably with acute affection and cirrhosis, especially with billar one. 相似文献

Point estimation for the scale and location parameters of the extreme-value (Type I) distribution by linear functions of order statistics from Type II progressively censored samples is investigated. Four types of linear estimators are considered: the best linear unbiased (BLU), an approximation to the BLU, unweighted regression, and a linearized maximum likelihood. Linear transformations of the estimators are also considered for reducing mean square errors. Exact bias, variance, and mean square error comparisons of the estimators are made for several censoring patterns. The union of different genomes in the same nucleus frequently results in hybrid genotypes with improved genome plasticity related to both genome remodeling events and changes in gene expression. Most modern cereal crops are polyploid species. Triticale, synthesized by the cross between wheat and rye, constitutes an excellent model to study polyploidization functional implications. We intend to attain a deeper knowledge of dispersed repetitive sequence involvement in parental genome reshuffle in triticale and in wheat-rye addition lines that have the entire wheat genome plus each rye chromosome pair. Through Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA (RAPD) analysis with OPH20 10-mer primer we unraveled clear alterations corresponding to the loss of specific bands from both parental genomes. Moreover, the sequential nature of those events was revealed by the increased absence of rye-origin bands in wheat-rye addition lines in comparison with triticale. Remodeled band sequencing revealed that both repetitive and coding genome domains are affected in wheat-rye hybrid genotypes. Additionally, the amplification and sequencing of pSc20H internal segments showed that the disappearance of parental bands may result from restricted sequence alterations and unraveled the involvement of wheat/rye related repetitive sequences in genome adjustment needed for hybrid plant stabilization. 相似文献

This work reports an efficient reactor, i.e., oxygen-rich side blow furnace (OSBF), for high-lead slag reduction. An OSBF with a cross-sectional area of 8.4 m2 was applied in an industrial-scale test and the results were compared with those from a traditional high-lead slag reduction reactor, i.e., blast furnace (BF), with which an additional electric heating fore well (EHFW) was connected for slag cleaning. By using the OSBF, Pb and Cu recoveries were raised by 1.07% and 7.99% compared with those from the traditional BF+EHFW, respectively. The optimal slag type for recovering metal values in the OSBF was also analyzed. Within the range of Fe/SiO2 = 1.56–1.87 and CaO/SiO2 = 0.8–1.05, lower Pb and Cu contents of the slag can be achieved with Fe/SiO2 = 1.65–1.75 and CaO/SiO2 = 1.0. 相似文献
