Ahch, the mouse homologue of DAX1: cloning, characterization and synteny with GyK, the glycerol kinase locus

We cloned the murine full-length cDNA encoding Ahch, the mouse homologue of DAX1 (DSS-AHC Region on Human X Chromosome, Gene1) which is the gene responsible for human X-linked adrenal hypoplasia congenita (AHC) and hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (HH). Sequence analysis revealed that the murine and human cDNAs have 65% aa identity and 75% aa similarity overall. The cysteine residues in the putative DNA binding domain, which may interact with Zn2+ ions to form zinc fingers, are 100% conserved between the two species, indicating that the novel zinc-finger structures in DAX1 may be functional. In addition, mouse interspecific backcrosses show that the Ahch gene is closely linked to the glycerol kinase locus, GyK, on the mouse X chromosome, indicating that the order of the loci is conserved in this syntenic region between mouse and human.

A moment method solution for TMz and TEzwaves illuminating two-dimensional objects above a lossy half space

A moment method (MM) solution for analyzing the electromagnetic shielding and scattering properties of two-dimensional (2-D) objects over a lossy half space is presented. The materials of the objects can be metal, dielectric, or magnetic. Also, the lossy half space is included to simulate the effects of the earth ground or any flat homogeneous lossy surface. An MM based on a volume formulation and a special Green's function in the spectral domain is developed. Both TM _z and TE_z waves incident upon 2-D metal or lossy material structures are demonstrated for the shielding effects of those bodies in the presence of the lossy ground. Besides, the echo widths of a composite object either in free space or above the lossy half space are determined by using the MM. Some of the results are compared with those by other methods, and good agreements are obtained. The MM solution can be used to study the shielding and scattering problems for cylindrical structures located over a lossy ground     

Contour integral method for stress intensity factors of interface crack

A general Betti's reciprocal work theorem with interface cracks of a bimaterial is established in this paper, and a path independent contour integral method for the stress intensity factor (SIF) of the interface crack was obtained. When the stress and displacement fields in a specimen are calculated by the finite element method, the SIF K _I and K _II of interface cracks can be obtained immediately by a contour integral. Some solutions of interesting examples, such as two collinear interface cracks, are also given.Presented at the Far East Fracture Group (FEFG) International Symposium on Fracture and Strength of Solids, 4–7 July 1994 in Xi'an China.     

微型集散系统通用过程控制软件包

本文给出一种新的基于ＭＣＳ－５１单片机集散系统通用过程控制软件包的设计原理及其实施方法。文中重点地阐述了微型集散系统的构在民，通用过程控制软件的自动生成，主要数据结构与程序结构，实现方法及关键技术等。本软件包是采用ＴＵＲＢＯＣ２．０版本和ＭＣＳ－５１泄编语言编程的，并通过了ＭＣＳ－５１组合软件的编译，形成了可用的目标码程序系统。
