The pulsed electroacoustic (PEA) method is widely known to be an excellent method for measuring the space charge distribution that accumulates in thick dielectric materials (1 to 5 mm). We have refined the PEA measurement system for use on thin dielectric materials. With FFT deconvolution to compensate for the frequency characteristics of the piezoelectric sensor, the resolution in the depth direction is improved to ~3 μm. This improved system is thus expected to be useful for the quantitative and nondestructive measurement of the space charge distribution in dielectric films  相似文献

17O Knight shift measurements in Sr2RuO4 were performed over the wide range of magnetic field 3.2-11.4kOe parallel to the basal RuO2 planes. The spin susceptibility is totally unchanged through its Tc, evidencing that the spin-triplet superconducting state is realized in Sr2RuO4. The result indicates that the Cooper pairs consist of the parallel spin pairs | > and | > with their quantization axis perpendicular to the c-axis direction. The in-plane 2D nearly ferromagnetic spin fluctuations may play a role for the stabilization of this state among various representations of spin-triplet order parameter.  相似文献

Magnetic properties on Sr2–x Ca x RuO4 have been investigated by a microscopic probe of 87Sr-NMR in order to understand the magnetic character on spin-triplet superconductor of Sr2RuO4, which has multibands on the Fermi surface. With substituting Ca for Sr which gives rise to crystal distortion, the Knight shift (K) and the nuclear spin-lattice relaxation rate divided by temperature (1/T 1 T) increases progressively up to x=1.5. The Korringa relation from K and 1/T 1 T becomes smaller, indicative of development of ferromagnetic fluctuations with increasing Ca content. This suggests that the q-independent spin fluctuations originating from the 2-dimensional band are changed to the ferromagnetic ones by the Ca doping.  相似文献

Most of the breakdowns in an electric power system are caused by lightning to the tower used for high‐voltage transmission wires. To avoid accidents due to lightning, it would be desirable to develop a measurement system for the spatial electric field distribution around the tower. We have developed a new system that can measure the electric field around the steel tower for electric power transmission by using an optical electric sensor. In conventional methods, the sensor is generally illuminated by light transmitted by optical fibers. On the other hand, the new measurement system illuminates the Pockels sensor directly by using a laser to measure the far electric field. Furthermore, our newly proposed feedback system makes it possible to measure the spatial electric field without concern for the change of Pockels sensor's operation point influenced by temperature change. This system is applicable as a remote sensing system to monitor the spatial electric field around a high‐voltage transmission line. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The optimum conditions for the fluorine passivation of 316L stainless steel are described. The direct fluoridation products formed at temperatures of 320°C or lower are composed solely of FeF2 , while those which were formed at the temperatures of 330°C or higher have a compound-phase composition of FeF2 and FeF 3. At a critical temperature (400°C for 316L stainless steel) of the thermal modification process, FeF3 is converted to FeF2 and disappears completely as the temperature rises. Meanwhile, CrF3 is formed at a certain temperature (440°C for 316L stainless steel). The two-phase composition gets further crystallized as the thermal modification temperature rises. As the crystal growth induces the cracks on the fluoridated film, it is very difficult to form a satisfactory passivation film from the two-phase composition by thermal modification. It is confirmed that excellent passivation film has been obtained from the single-phase composition by the optimum fluoridation following the optimum thermal modification  相似文献

We have tested whether action potential-evoked Ca2+ influx is required to initiate clathrin-mediated synaptic vesicle endocytosis in the lamprey reticulospinal synapse. Exo- and endocytosis were temporally separated by a procedure involving tonic action potential stimulation and subsequent removal of extracellular Ca2+ (Ca2+e). A low concentration of Ca2+ ([Ca2+]e of 11 microM) was found to be required for the induction of early stages of endocytosis. However, the entire endocytic process, from the formation of clathrin-coated membrane invaginations to the generation of synaptic vesicles, proceeded in the absence of action potential-mediated Ca2+ entry. Our results indicate that the membrane of synaptic vesicles newly incorporated in the plasma membrane is a sufficient trigger of clathrin-mediated synaptic vesicle endocytosis.  相似文献
