Bulk (Mg1.02B2)1−x Sn x samples (x = 0.0, 0.01, 0.03 and 0.05) were synthesized by in situ sintering at 850 °C for one hour. Based on the phase identification and microstructure observation, the Mg2Sn and Sn impurities are found as the main impurities in Sn-doped samples. According to the magnetization measurements, the low doping level of Sn was observed to have small influence on the grain connectivity, and thus a high critical current density was maintained at low field. FeCo based nanocrystalline materials have excellent soft magnetic properties even at high temperature, but are limited to low frequency applications due to their relatively low electrical resistivities, ρe, resulting in high eddy current losses. Amorphous alloys of (Fe81Co19)84M9B7 where M = (Hf, HfTa, Ta) were prepared by meltspinning and annealed for increasing times at their respective crystallization temperatures. The nanocrystalline alloys had coercivities less than 0.4 Oe and saturation inductions greater than 1 T. The electrical resistivities of the amorphous ribbons were all similar with values of ρe ? 180 μΩ cm. After annealing at the crystallization temperature, the M = Ta alloy had the largest ρe of 140 ± 3 μΩ cm. The Ta alloy also had the best high frequency properties, with an initial permeability of 822 at 1 MHz. 相似文献

Composition and orientation effects on the final recrystallization texture of three coarse-grained Nb-containing AISI 430 ferritic stainless steels (FSSs) were investigated. Hot-bands of steels containing distinct amounts of niobium, carbon and nitrogen were annealed at 1250 °C for 2 h to promote grain growth. In particular, the amounts of Nb in solid solution vary from one grade to another. For purposes of comparison, the texture evolution of a hot-band sheet annealed at 1030 °C for 1 min (finer grain structure) was also investigated. Subsequently, the four sheets were cold rolled up to 80% reduction and then annealed at 800 °C for 15 min. Texture was determined using X-ray diffraction and electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD). Noticeable differences regarding the final recrystallization texture and microstructure were observed in the four investigated grades. Results suggest that distinct nucleation mechanisms take place within these large grains leading to the development of different final recrystallization textures. 相似文献

By using the discrete element method (DEM) a comparison and observations on material flow patterns in plane-wedged, space-wedged, and flat-bottomed hopper were accounted for. Numerical results obtained by combining data of individual particles, statistical processing of particle assemblies and evaluation of the field variables provided the essential characteristics for different regimes of the discharge flow (within steady or unsteady state of flow) and the differences in differently shaped hoppers due to different microscopic inter-particle friction. For validation of the performed simulations, velocity patterns developed in three-dimensional flat-bottomed hopper containing 20,400 pea grains were also analysed. To represent the continuum by avoiding the local effects produced by the individual grains, the simulation results were focused on the mean velocity distributions with data smoothening. The goal of the investigations was to measure the dynamics of photoinduced motions in semicrystalline polybutadiene backbone based polymer grafted with various degree of mesogenic thiols. We studied the influence of the grafting degree of the azobenzene-containing side groups and the length of terminal oxyaliphatic substituent in the side groups on the dynamics of the laser holographic volume and surface gratings recording. Measurements were performed in a typical laser degenerate two-wave mixing experiment, in which light self-diffraction efficiency during holographic recording was monitored. Mathematical model for grating formation based on coupling of three gratings has been assumed to elaborate the obtained results. The influences of major factors including applied stress amplitude, inclusion size and hydrogen content on granular-bright-facet (GBF) size of high strength steels in the very high cycle fatigue regime were studied in this article. It was found that the GBF size is determined by the applied stress amplitude and material hardness. If the applied stress amplitude is lower, the GBF size is larger. When a specimen containing bigger inclusions, the applied stress amplitude to form GBF can be reduced which results in the increase of GBF size. Hydrogen has different effects on the GBF size. Langmuir monolayer isotherms and fluorescence microscopy (FM) techniques have been used to study the effect of two soluble surfactants on the methyl octadecanoate monolayer's compressibility at the air/water interface. The combination of these two techniques allows one to bridge the mechanical and morphological properties of the monolayer at different surfactant subphase concentrations. Our results show that the presence of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) or dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide (DTAB) affects the monolayer elasticity differently. In addition, the outcome of this study emphasizes the role of the cationic and anionic surfactants on the monolayer compressibility. In fact, their effect was found to be primly depending on the monolayer thermodynamic situation. The isotherms of the monolayers at different surfactant concentrations underneath the monolayer preserve the characteristics behavior of the monolayer as imaged by FM. The calculated monolayer compressibility shows two different trends depending on the monolayer pressure and the surfactant type. A decreasing compressibility as a function of SDS concentration was found at pressure π = 5 mN/m, while no noticeable effect was found due to DTAB. At π = 10 mN/m both surfactants convert the monolayer from rigid to soft monolayer. Such characteristic behavior of the monolayer has been confirmed by FM. 相似文献

We consider the problem of finding short strings that contain all permutations of order k over an alphabet of size n, with k?n. We show constructively that k(n−2)+3 is an upper bound on the length of shortest such strings, for n?k?10. Consequently, for n?10, the shortest strings that contain all permutations of order n have length at most n2−2n+3.
