Working with individuals the clinician prefers to say less, but with higher validity. The perceptanalytic Rorschach is a sensitive device that uncovers relevant microfacts of limited applicability but high validity. The purpose of the research activities at the Skierniewice geothermal test site is to develop and apply an exploration methodology for low-enthalpy systems in sedimentary formations. Work included seismic and magnetotelluric surveys carried out close to well Kompina-2 to create a detailed structural–geologic model and characterize the anisotropic fracture system around the borehole. The study included the reprocessing of archival data from selected boreholes and 2D seismic lines. The collected data were used to identify formations with high fracture permeability and the presumed flow path of geothermal (∼110 °C) brine in high productivity zones, and determining rock porosities and salinity distribution in the subsurface. The next stage of the investigations will focus on siting a second borehole and studying the possibility of installing a plant for electrical generation or direct geothermal heat applications. 相似文献
The microstructure and phase composition of Al/Ti/Al interfaces with respect to their localization were investigated. An aluminum-flyer plate exhibited finer grains located close to the upper interface than those present within the aluminum-base plate. The same tendency, but with a higher number of twins, was observed for titanium. Good quality bonding with a wavy shape and four intermetallic phases, namely, TiAl3, TiAl, TiAl2, and Ti3Al, was only obtained at the interface closer to the explosive material. The other interface was planar with three intermetallic compounds, excluding the metastable TiAl2 phase. As a result of a 100-hour annealing at 903 K (630 °C), an Al/TiAl3/Ti/TiAl3/Al sandwich was manufactured, formed with single crystalline Al layers. A substantial difference between the intermetallic layer thicknesses was measured, with 235.3 and 167.4 µm obtained for the layers corresponding to the upper and lower interfaces, respectively. An examination by transmission electron microscopy of a thin foil taken from the interface area after a 1-hour annealing at 825 K (552 °C) showed a mixture of randomly located TiAl3 grains within the aluminum. Finally, the hardness results were correlated with the microstructural changes across the samples.
The characteristics of shaped charges with metal powder liners for perforating borehole pipes are described. The liners were manufactured using powder metallurgy technology. Two types of powder liners were made: a homogeneous one made of copper powder and a heavy one made of copper and tungsten powder blend. Laminar liners consisting of two layers made from powders of different densities were also examined. X‐ray pulse technique was applied to research the process of jet stream formation. Radiograms revealed the discontinuous (discrete) structure of jets formed from powder liners. The corresponding computer simulations of jet formation are presented. 相似文献
The variability of the proximate composition and fatty acid profiles in samples of sprat (Sprattus sprattus balticus) from the southern Baltic Sea were studied in relation to the catch season and location, individual fish size, and sex. Fatty acid profiles depended on such features as fish size and lipid content, which depend on the season of the year in which the fish were caught. No differences in fatty acid profiles were noted between the sexes in the individuals examined. Studies on fish lipids are necessary as fish lipids are important in the prevention of cardiac disease. One of the chief advantages of fish lipids that is relevant to the prevention of cardiac disease is their n−3 to n−6 fatty acid ratio. The most advantageous ratio of these fatty acids was noted in sprat that were the smallest in length. 相似文献
The femto-access-point, a low-cost and small-size cellular base-station, is envisioned to be widely deployed in subscribers homes, as to provide
high data-rate communications with improved quality of service. As femtocellular networks will co-exist with macrocellular networks, mitigation of the interference between these two network types is a key challenge for successful integration of
these two technologies. In particular, there are several interference mechanisms between the femtocellular and the macrocellular
networks, and the effects of the resulting interference depend on the density of femtocells and the overlaid macrocells in a particular coverage area. While improper interference management can cause a significant reduction in the system capacity
and can increase the outage probability, effective and efficient frequency allocation among femtocells and macrocells can
result in a successful co-existence of these two technologies. Furthermore, highly dense femtocellular deployments—the ultimate
goal of the femtocellular technology—will require significant degree of self-organization in lieu of manual configuration.
In this paper, we present various femtocellular network deployment scenarios, and we propose a number of frequency-allocation
schemes to mitigate the interference and to increase the spectral efficiency of the integrated network. These schemes include:
shared frequency band, dedicated frequency band, sub-frequency band, static frequency-reuse, and dynamic frequency-reuse. We derive an analytical model, which allows us to analyze in details the users outage probability, and we compare the performance
