Construction of renewable roofs for continuous heating furnaces

Constructions are considered for renewable roofs of continuous heating furnaces using different lining materials: chamotte refractories, monolithic refractory concrete, and refractory ceramic fiber. The technology of dynamic extension of attribute set for the search of satellite images in a database

The structures of metafiles for describing satellite images of the Earth we analyze in this article. We describe the architecture of interaction among the satellite images database components at the automated registration of new-type sensors. We offer the technology of dynamic extension of the attribute set for the search of satellite images in a database.

This paper considers methods for indentifying electromagnetic and resistance torque on a permanent magnet synchronous motor shaft with rotor-position feedback in steady-state and dynamic modes under sine-wave voltage applied to motor windings. The authors give relatively simple equations for an electromagnetic-torque observer.

A novel gas-loading system for mechanically closing of various types of diamond anvil cells

Loading of gases in diamond anvil cells is a complicated but necessary task to obtain hydrostatic conditions for high-pressure measurements. A simple in operation, safe, and universal gas-loading system has been designed and constructed. Innovations were introduced to simplify the loading procedure up to the "three-button" mode.
