We perceive big data with massive datasets of complex and variegated structures in the modern era. Such attributes formulate hindrances while analyzing and storing the data to generate apt aftermaths. Privacy and security are the colossal perturb in the domain space of extensive data analysis. In this paper, our foremost priority is the computing technologies that focus on big data, IoT (Internet of Things), Cloud Computing, Blockchain, and fog computing. Among these, Cloud Computing follows the role of providing on-demand services to their customers by optimizing the cost factor. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud are the major cloud providers today. Fog computing offers new insights into the extension of cloud computing systems by procuring services to the edges of the network. In collaboration with multiple technologies, the Internet of Things takes this into effect, which solves the labyrinth of dealing with advanced services considering its significance in varied application domains. The Blockchain is a dataset that entertains many applications ranging from the fields of crypto-currency to smart contracts. The prospect of this research paper is to present the critical analysis and review it under the umbrella of existing extensive data systems. In this paper, we attend to critics' reviews and address the existing threats to the security of extensive data systems. Moreover, we scrutinize the security attacks on computing systems based upon Cloud, Blockchain, IoT, and fog. This paper lucidly illustrates the different threat behaviour and their impacts on complementary computational technologies. The authors have mooted a precise analysis of cloud-based technologies and discussed their defense mechanism and the security issues of mobile healthcare.

One of the attractive features of low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes is the parallel iterative nature of their iterative belief propagation decoding, making them amenable to efficient hardware implementation. However, for an arbitrary code construction, the random-like connections between the code's Tanner graph variable and check nodes makes fully-parallel implementation a difficult task as this leads to complex interconnect wiring and routing congestion. In this paper, we present a novel LDPC code design approach, based on the progressive edge growth (PEG) Tanner graph construction, to solve the problem of dense connections between processing nodes. The approach is based on controlling the maximum connection length between processing nodes in order to make fully parallel implementation feasible. The proposed algorithm offers a good compromise between error correction performance and decoder complexity. Simulation results and FPGA-based implementation comparisons are presented to demonstrate the advantages of the proposed LDPC code constructions, and it is shown that, with proper window-constrained node placement design, an improvement of up to 40% in interconnect efficiency is achievable without any significant degradation in error correction capability.  相似文献

Biomass fuelled integrated gasification/gas turbines (BIG/GTs) have been found to be one of the most promising technologies to maximise electricity output in the sugar industry. However, biomass fuels contain alkali metals (Na and K) which may be released during the gasification processes and cause deleterious effects on the downstream hardware (e.g. the blades of gas turbines). Much research has therefore been focused on different kinds of gas cleaning. Most of these projects are using a fluidised bed gasifier and includes extensive gas cleaning which leads to a high capital investment.

Increasing alkali retention/separation during the gasification may lead to improved producer gas quality and reduced costs for gas cleaning. However, very little quantitative information is available about the actual potential of this effect. In the present work, comparative bench-scale tests of bagasse gasification were therefore run in an isothermal fluidised bed gasifier and in a cyclone gasifier to evaluate which gasification process is most attractive as regards alkali retention/separation, and to try to elucidate the mechanisms responsible for the retention.

The alkali retention in the fluidised bed gasifier was found to be in the range of 12–4% whereas in the cyclone gasifier the alkali separation was found to be about 70%. No significant coating of the fluidised bed's bed material particles could be observed. The SEM/EDS and the elemental maps of the bed material show that a non-sticky ash matrix consisting of mainly Si, Al and K were distributed in a solid form separated from the particles of bed material. This indicates the formation of a high temperature melting potassium containing silicate phase, which is continuously scavenged and lost from the bed through elutriation.  相似文献

Combustion pressure data are measured and presented for a dual fuel engine running on dual fuel of diesel and compressed natural gas, and compared to the diesel engine case. The maximum pressure rise rate during combustion is presented as a measure of combustion noise. Experimental investigation on diesel and dual fuel engines revealed the noise generated from combustion in both cases. A Ricardo E6 diesel version engine is converted to run on dual fuel of diesel and compressed natural gas and is used throughout the work. The engine is fully computerized and the cylinder pressure data, crank angle data are stored in a PC for off-line analysis. The effect of engine speeds, loads, pilot injection angle, and pilot fuel quantity on combustion noise is examined for both diesel and dual engine. Maximum pressure rise rate and some samples of ensemble averaged pressure–crank angle data are presented in the present work. The combustion noise, generally, is found to increase for the dual fuel engine case as compared to the diesel engine case.  相似文献

Atomically thin‐layered ReS2 with a distorted 1T structure has attracted attention because of its intriguing optical and electronic properties. Here, the direct and indirect exciton dynamics of a three‐layered ReS2 is investigated by polarization‐resolved transient photoluminescence (PL) and ultrafast pump‐probe spectroscopy. The various time scales of the decay signals of the time‐resolved PL (<10 ps), with monitoring of the populations of electron–hole pairs (exciton), and the transient differential reflectance (≈1 and 100 ps), with monitoring of the populations of electrons and/or holes in the excited states, are observed. These results reveal the characteristic exciton dynamics: rapid relaxation of direct excitons (electron–hole pairs) and slow relaxation of the momentum‐mismatched indirect excitons accompanied by a one‐phonon emission process. These findings provide important information regarding the indirect bandgap nature of few‐layered ReS2 and its characteristic exciton dynamics, boosting the understanding of the novel electronic and optical properties of atomically thin‐layered ReS2.  相似文献

An adaptive antenna array is incorporated into a decorrelatingmulti-user detector to effectively increase the DS-CDMA system capacity.Capacity improvement is due to beamforming gain, spatial diversity gain(assuming large angle spread), and the decorrelating effect. Thereceiver has been analyzed for the cases of sufficiently andinsufficiently spaced receiving antennas. The receiver consists of afront-end beamformer for every user in the cell and has knowledge of allusers' signature sequences. The beamformer estimates the desired userchannel vector, enhancing its signal and reducing the co-channelinterference from other directions. The multi-user detection, exploitingknowledge of other users, rejects those interferers whose arrival anglesare close to that of the desired user. The average uncoded Bit ErrorRate (BER) as a function of the number of in-beam active users, theaverage antenna Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR), and the number of receivingantennas is examined in both single-path and multi-path Rayleigh fadingchannels. Analysis shows an increase in system capacity proportional tothe number of receiving antennas.  相似文献

We present a study of the nonlinear dynamics of electrocardiogram (ECG) signals for arrhythmia characterization. The correlation dimension and largest Lyapunov exponent are used to model the chaotic nature of five different classes of ECG signals. The model parameters are evaluated for a large number of real ECG signals within each class and the results are reported. The presented algorithms allow automatic calculation of the features. The statistical analysis of the calculated features indicates that they differ significantly between normal heart rhythm and the different arrhythmia types and, hence, can be rather useful in ECG arrhythmia detection. On the other hand, the results indicate that the discrimination between different arrhythmia types is difficult using such features. The results of this work are supported by statistical analysis that provides a clear outline for the potential uses and limitations of these features.  相似文献

This article allows the determination of the induced perturbations at the ends of the coaxial line in wide frequency band enough. The perturbation source is a current direct point injection into the cable screen in any position. For this, we have applied the theory of the state variables, with foundation of the quasi-TEM approximation, in order to simulate the coaxial line above a ground level that has a finished conductivity. This allows us to supply the current and voltage expressions at the ends of the line as their analytic forms for any conditions of charge. Next, the elaborate objective is to verify experimentally on concrete applications if the test obtained results confirm the theoretical expectations supplied by calculation code finalizing.  相似文献

Clustering is an effective approach for organizing a network into a connected hierarchy, load balancing, and prolonging the network lifetime. On the other hand, fuzzy logic is capable of wisely blending different parameters. This paper proposes an energy-aware distributed dynamic clustering protocol (ECPF) which applies three techniques: (1) non-probabilistic cluster head (CH) elections, (2) fuzzy logic, and (3) on demand clustering. The remaining energy of the nodes is the primary parameter for electing tentative CHs via a non-probabilistic fashion. A non-probabilistic CH election is implemented by introducing a delay inversely proportional to the residual energy of each node. Therefore, tentative CHs are selected based on their remaining energy. In addition, fuzzy logic is employed to evaluate the fitness (cost) of a node in order to choose a final CH from the set of neighboring tentative CHs. On the other hand, every regular (non CH) node elects to connect to the CH with the least fuzzy cost in its neighborhood. Besides, in ECPF, CH elections are performed sporadically (in contrast to performing it every round). Simulation results demonstrate that our approach performs better than well known protocols (LEACH, HEED, and CHEF) in terms of extending network lifetime and saving energy.  相似文献
