Endothelial cells acquire different phenotypes to establish functional vascular networks. Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) signaling induces endothelial proliferation, migration, and survival to regulate vascular development, which leads to the construction of a vascular plexuses with a regular morphology. The spatiotemporal localization of angiogenic factors and the extracellular matrix play fundamental roles in ensuring the proper regulation of angiogenesis. This review article highlights how and what kinds of extracellular environmental molecules regulate angiogenesis. Close interactions between the vascular and neural systems involve shared molecular mechanisms to coordinate developmental and regenerative processes. This review article focuses on current knowledge about the roles of angiogenesis in peripheral nerve regeneration and the latest therapeutic strategies for the treatment of peripheral nerve injury.  相似文献

An analytical method for the determination of 32 kinds of pesticide residues in onions, Welsh onions and mushrooms using gas chromatograph with an atomic emission detector (GC-AED) was developed. The pesticides were extracted with acetone-n-hexane (2:3) mixture. The crude extract was partitioned between 5% sodium chloride and ethyl acetate-n-hexane (1:4) mixture. The extract was passed through a Florisil mini-column for cleanup with 10 mL of acetone-n-hexane (1:9) mixture. Although the sensitivity of GC-AED was inferior to that of GC-ECD, GC-AED has a superior element-selectivity. Therefore pesticide residues in foods could be analyzed more exactly by using GC-AED. Thirty-two pesticides including chlorine in onion, Welsh onion and shiitake mushroom were detected without interference. Recoveries of these pesticides from samples determined by GC-AED were 64-114%, except for a few pesticides.  相似文献

We examined whether sulfated hyaluronan exerts inhibitory effects on enzymatic and biological actions of heparanase, a sole endo-beta-glucuronidase implicated in cancer malignancy and inflammation. Degradation of heparan sulfate by human and mouse heparanase was inhibited by sulfated hyaluronan. In particular, high-sulfated hyaluronan modified with approximately 2.5 sulfate groups per disaccharide unit effectively inhibited the enzymatic activity at a lower concentration than heparin. Human and mouse heparanase bound to immobilized sulfated hyaluronan. Invasion of heparanase-positive colon-26 cells and 4T1 cells under 3D culture conditions was significantly suppressed in the presence of high-sulfated hyaluronan. Heparanase-induced release of CCL2 from colon-26 cells was suppressed in the presence of sulfated hyaluronan via blocking of cell surface binding and subsequent intracellular NF-κB-dependent signaling. The inhibitory effect of sulfated hyaluronan is likely due to competitive binding to the heparanase molecule, which antagonizes the heparanase-substrate interaction. Fragment molecular orbital calculation revealed a strong binding of sulfated hyaluronan tetrasaccharide to the heparanase molecule based on electrostatic interactions, particularly characterized by interactions of (−1)- and (−2)-positioned sulfated sugar residues with basic amino acid residues composing the heparin-binding domain-1 of heparanase. These results propose a relevance for sulfated hyaluronan in the blocking of heparanase-mediated enzymatic and cellular actions.  相似文献

Two-dimensional simulation is crucial in the analysis of the transport characteristics of a resonant tunneling transistor that has a base electrode attached to the well region of a double barrier structure because of the transistor's two-dimensional heterogeneousness. We propose a novel numerical model of the resonant tunneling transistor that includes two-dimensional potential distribution and two-dimensional spatial current distribution. By using this mode in the present model, it is found that the transistor's I-V characteristics are strongly dependent on its internal well resistance  相似文献

Measurements are performed on film thickness and free surface velocity around a rotating roll for Newtonian, non-Newtonian inelastic, and viscoelastic fluids by using noncontact methods of a capacitance probe and a laser Doppler velocimeter probe. The film thickness decreases with increasing inspection angle for Newtonian fluids. For non-Newtonian fluids, it retains an approximately constant value, owing to shear-thinning of viscosity, except for a meniscus region development, which is dependent on fluid elasticity. Comparison of current results with the film thickness from a previous work is also made. With the increment of inspection angle, the free surface velocity increases rapidly in the meniscus region and maintains a constant value almost equal to a roll speed in the other region for viscoelastic fluids, while it increases linearly for Newtonian fluids. The shear rate at a roll surface is presented assuming that the velocity distribution in the liquid film is a polynomial equation. It is found that viscoelastic fluids exhibit different behavior from that of Newtonian and non-Newtonian inelastic fluids. Evaluation of the force acting on the liquid film for Newtonian fluids implies that the velocity gradient at a roll surface in an ascending region may be steeper than the parabolic form assumed in this study.  相似文献

Mechanical properties and microstructures of machinable silicon carbide, fabricated by pressureless sintering of silicon carbide fine powder with the aid of polysilastyrene, have been examined. Drastic changes in microstrucyure and in mechanical properties between specimens sintered at below 1773 K and at above 1873 K were observed. By sintering at above 1883 K the macinable silicon carbide had a good strength of more than 200 Mpa with high reliability, which was maintained beyond 1773 K. Polysilastyrene was converted in -phase silicon carbide and ribbon carbon in the pores. The (001) plane of carbon is parallel to the (111) planes of -phase silicon carbide.  相似文献

In this paper, we focus on relationship between the rope and fingers to implement a knot and estimate error occurred during execution of knotting task. In the previous work, the authors have proposed a method for making various knots from synthesis of basic operations called skills that are derived from analyzing the knotting processes. Each individual skill has an operation to handle the rope and conditions for executing and completing the task skill. By combining these skills, we can make the whole knotting process robust. In this paper, the ‘relations’, which describe the positions of the rope relative to the fingers, found from the successful cases, using the teaching data, were defined as the conditions of the task skills. Relation of rope and fingers at a specific state is presented by using propositional variables and logical connectives. Knotting skills were constructed to be executed robustly using the detected conditions. Occurrence of an error is estimated by finding out an abnormal relation. In this case, a corrective action can be inserted to modify the position of contact points, which are relative to the unsatisfied conditions to satisfy the detected conditions; therefore, skill execution is more reliable. We confirm the effectiveness of the methods through experiments.  相似文献

An unknown peak was detected in a GC chromatogram of many kiwi fruit extracts during analysis for pesticide residues. It was identified by GC/MS as diphenyl 2-ethylhexyl phosphate (DPEHP), used as a plasticizer and flame retardant. The concentration of DPEHP was investigated in 15 samples of kiwi fruit, and it was detected at between 0.02 and 0.14 microgram/g in 10 of the samples. It might be due to migration of DPEHP into the fruit from the printed portion of the polyethylene terephthalate (PET) package.  相似文献
