In this study the fluoropolymers, poly(ethylene‐co‐tetrafluoroethylene) (ETFE) and poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) films, together with the radiation‐induced crosslinked polytetrafluoroethylene (cPTFE) film were compared on the basis of their preparation and properties of radiation‐grafted polymer electrolyte membranes. The polymer electrolyte membranes were prepared by radiation grafting of styrene into the base films and subsequent sulfonation. The proton conductivity and chemical stability of the three types of membranes with a similar ion exchange capacity (IEC) near 1.0 mmol/g were investigated and are discussed in detail. Although the ETFE‐based polymer electrolyte membrane was relatively more stable, its proton conductivity was lower than those of the PVDF‐ and cPTFE‐based membranes. On the other hand, the cPTFE‐based membrane showed a significantly higher proton conductivity, but its chemical stability was shorter than that of the ETFE‐based membrane. It is considered that the difference in the preparation and properties of the polymer electrolyte membranes was due to the difference in the degree of crystallinity as well as in the chemical structure of the fluoropolymer base films. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Three kinds of trapped radicals are observed in poly(maleic anhydride) (Poly-MAH) which were prepared by the use of radical initiators such as AIBN or BPO. It was found that these radicals were transformed to the active species so as to initiate the cationic polymerization. Anodic oxidation effects on the basal and edge surfaces of pyrolytic graphite in acid were studied by laser Raman spectroscopy, and by a gas-phase chemical modification method coupled with X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Surface covering fractions were also studied by -epichlorohydrin monolayer formation. It was found that the species of surface chemical groups added by anodic oxidation was closely related to the structure of the oxidized surface. In the case of the basal surface, carboxyl groups were added by anodic oxidation, being always accompanied by the destruction of its surface structure. On the other hand, in the case of the edge surface, hydroxyl groups were added without the destruction of its structure with a mild treatment. With more severe treatment, carboxyl groups were added and this addition was also accompanied by destruction of the surface structure. There was a range of treatment in which hydroxyl groups could be added without destroying the structure. Finally it was confirmed that both carboxyl and hydroxyl groups could make covalent bonds with epoxy groups of -epichlorohydrin. 相似文献

We performed miniature flyer impact experiments to investigate the relationship between the apparent (u(a)) and actual (u(A)) particle velocities measured by a velocity interferometer in single-crystal lithium fluoride (LiF) that was shock-compressed along the [100] axis. The miniature flyer was accelerated to velocities in the range 652.5-1937.6 m/s by a tabletop pulsed laser. An empirical relationship of u(a) = (1.2749 ± 0.0102)u(A) was obtained. The obtained relationship agreed well with the results of a previous study within the experimental errors and its uncertainty was less than ±1%. This result indicates that the present experimental technique is effective for measuring the relationship between u(a) and u(A) of shocked transparent materials with a comparable accuracy to conventional methods. 相似文献

The disposition of diadenosine 5'5"'-P1,P4-tetraphosphate (Ap4A), an endogenous dinucleotide, was investigated in rats. The degradation of Ap4A in rat plasma was very rapid and could be explained by a Michaelis-Menten equation: Km and Vmax values were 1.69 micrograms/ml and 4.32 micrograms/min/ml, respectively. Ap4A was degraded in rat plasma to ATP and AMP, but not to 2 ADP molecules, and these nucleotides were further degraded through adenosine. The degradations kinetics were examined. After intravenous bolus injection, Ap4A in plasma declined rapidly and the rate of elimination was dose-dependent: the biological half-life was about 3s at the dose of 1 mg/kg and was longer at 3 mg/kg. When Ap4A was administered by intravenous infusion (0.5 or 1.0 mg/kg/min), the plasma level rapidly reached a steady-state, which then rapidly declined after stopping the infusion. 相似文献

Renal glomerular fibrosis was observed in a 1-year-old spayed female Japanese domestic cat that showed clinically advanced renal failure. In the glomeruli, increased homogeneous materials were stained strongly with aniline blue by Masson's trichrome and positive for anti-type III collagen antibody by immunohistochemical staining, causing mesangial sclerosis and capillary collapse. By electron microscopy, randomly arranged fibrils were observed in the expanded subendothelial and mesangial areas, and the fibrils showed periodicity characteristic of collagen fibers in longitudinal sections. These findings of glomerular lesions closely resemble those of human "collagenofibrotic glomerulonephropathy," which has recently been described as a new type of glomerulonephropathy. 相似文献

A quantum-inspired evolutionary algorithm (QEA) is proposed as a stochastic algorithm to perform combinatorial optimization
problems. The QEA is evolutionary computation that uses quantum bits and superposition states in quantum computation. Although
the QEA is a coarse-grained parallel algorithm, it involves many parameters that must be adjusted manually. This paper proposes
a new method, named pair swap, which exchanges each best solution information between two individuals instead of migration
in the QEA. Experimental results show that our proposed method is a simpler algorithm and can find a high quality solution
in the 0-1 knapsack problem.
