Despite their potential carcinogenicity and probable formation during water disinfection processes, little is known about the occurrence of other nitro(so) compounds than a few specific N-nitroso compounds such as N-nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA). An analytical method was developed to monitor various nitro(so) compounds including N-nitrosamines based on the Griess colorimetric determination of nitrite generated by UV-254 nm photolysis of nitro(so) compounds after separation by HPLC (HPLC-Post Column UV photolysis/Griess reaction (HPLC-PCUV)). To differentiate N-nitro(so) compounds (i.e. UV-labile) from other nitro(so) and N-containing compounds (i.e. UV-resistant), a pre-treatment was established by photolyzing solid-phase extracted samples at 254 nm (1000 mJ/cm2) and thus removing N-nitro(so) compounds selectively. Considering a 1000-fold concentration factor and extraction efficiencies (57–83%) during solid phase extraction, the method detection limits ranged from 4 to 28 ng/L for dimethylnitramine and eight N-nitrosamines (EPA 8270 nine nitrosamines mixture except for N-nitrosodiphenylamine). For four pool waters, the UV-resistant groups accounted for more than 78% of the estimated total concentration of nitro(so) and other N-containing compounds (6.1–48.6 nM). Only one unknown UV-labile compound was detected in one pool water (2.0–7.9 nM). NDMA was most frequently detected and N-nitrosodipropylamine (NDPA) and N-nitrosodibutylamine (NDBA) were additionally detected in one pool water. Chloramination of a secondary wastewater effluent with NDMA (0.2 nM) and UV-resistant compounds (7.9 nM) from a pilot-scale municipal wastewater treatment plant led to a significant formation of not only unidentified UV-resistant compounds (67.8 nM) and UV-labile compounds (14.6 nM), but also identified nitrosamines such as NDMA (4.3 nM), N-nitrosopiperidine (1.8 nM), NDPA (0.5 nM), and NDBA (0.5 nM). Overall, the novel HPLC-PCUV system is a powerful screening tool for the detection of (un)known N-nitro(so) as well as other nitro(so) and UV-induced nitrite-producing compounds.  相似文献

对Al-Cu合金进行析出强化和人工时效处理以获得优异的力学性能,如高的强度、好的韧性。其热处理工艺条件为:510~530℃固溶处理2h;60℃水淬;160~190℃人工时效2~8h。采用光学显微镜、扫描电镜、能谱分析、透射电镜和拉伸实验对经固溶和人工时效处理的Al-Cu合金的组织和力学性能进行表征。固溶处理实验结果表明,Al-Cu合金的力学性能随着固溶处理温度的升高先增加,然后降低。这是由于Al-Cu合金的残余相逐渐溶解进入基体中,从而导致析出相的数量和再结晶晶粒尺寸不断增加。相较于固溶处理温度,固溶处理时间对Al-Cu合金的影响较小。人工时效处理实验结果表明,合金经180℃时效8h,可以获得最大的拉伸强度。合金的最大拉伸强度和屈服强度随着时效时间的延长和温度的升高而升高。  相似文献

An experimental study on mixing, degree of suspension and power consumption in solid-liquid suspensions was done. A system similar to those found in anaerobic fermentation processes of animal manures was used, and an existing mixing equipment was adapted for the study. Power consumption and degree of suspension for both mechanical mixing and mixing by gas was determined. The influence of variables such as geometry, solids concentration, stirrer velocity, and gas velocity was studied, discussed, and compared to data from the literature. Best results were obtained for gas mixing, the power consumption being about one fourth of that required by mechanical agitation. Finally, extended correlations relating Power and Reynolds numbers for mechanical mixing and mixing by gas are proposed.  相似文献

Conversion efficiencies of 11.5-12% have been obtained for solar cells with an active layer epitaxially grown on upgraded metallurgical grade silicon substrates made by industry. An epilayer thickness of 30 μm was shown to be sufficient if the substrate doping is much larger than the epilayer doping. Spectral response measurements, fitted to simple models, showed that:

? the electron diffusion length reached 120 μm in the epilayer,

? a back surface field was efficient in increasing collection efficiency,

? Optical path enhancement due to texturisation decreased absorption losses.

These results were confirmed by modeling of the short circuit current and open circuit voltage of the cells.

Economic viability is discussed. The results can also be used to increase the efficiency of conventional solar cells built on thin wafers (< 150μm).  相似文献

This paper presents an energy-efficient design and the implementation results of a high speed two transmitter—two receiver multi-input multi-output orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) wireless LAN baseband processor. The proposed processor includes a bit-parallel processing physical layer convergence procedure (PLCP) processor which lowers system clock frequency. A cost-efficient MIMO spatial multiplexing (SM) symbol detector is also proposed in a physical medium dependent (PMD) processor. The proposed symbol detection algorithm is based on a sorted QR decomposition (SQRD) scheme followed by a maximum-likelihood (ML) test. The proposed algorithm shows enhanced performance compared to the conventional algorithms such as SQRD and ordered successive interference cancellation (OSIC) algorithms. The proposed baseband processor supports a maximum data rate of 130 Mbps at a 40 MHz operation frequency. The power consumptions of the PLCP processor are 27 mW and 93 mW for TX and RX modes, respectively, which are reduced by 70% compared with that of a common bit-serial architecture. The complexity of the symbol detector in the PMD processor is reduced by 18% compared with that of the conventional hardware architecture.  相似文献

A vapor compression cycle (VCC) with integrated thermoelectric (TE) modules to boost the heating capacity of the system in an energy-efficient way, especially for cold climate operation, is suggested in this paper. While a baseline heat pump (HP) cycle absorbs heat from a source through an evaporator, the proposed system utilizes TE modules as an intermediate (or third) stage of an otherwise two-stage vapor compression system with a vapor injection compressor. This increases the overall system efficiency and augments the system capacity through the high coefficient of performance (COP) of the TE for small temperature lift conditions. To demonstrate the concept, a prototype refrigerant-to-solid (TE) heat exchanger, consisting of TE modules and microchannel flat tubes, was designed and fabricated so that the whole system could realize an additional 1?kW of heating capacity compared with the baseline system. The TE heat exchanger was integrated into a residential HP unit that uses R-410A as a refrigerant, and the system was tested in a laboratory under the severe condition of ?17.8°C, in order to investigate the capacity improvement and the overall COP. Finally, an application of this technique in an automotive heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning system with HFC134a working fluid has been studied for the purpose of providing supplemental heating for electric vehicles and hybrid electric vehicles by establishing a detailed simulation model of a HP system with the TE heat exchanger. Both the laboratory test and the calculation study show that a VCC with integrated TE modules has both reasonable efficiency and increased heating capacity.  相似文献

Multichip on Aluminum Metal Plate(MOAMP) technology with simple structure and low thermal resistance is developed for effective heat removal of Light Emitting Diode(LED) p-n junction and LED lighting module to have high reliability. The thermal resistance of LED modules was numerical and experimental. Thermal resistance from the junction to aluminum metal plate, considering input power of LED module using MOAMP technology, is 3.02 K/W, 3.23 K/W for the measured and calculated, respectively. We expect that the reported MOAMP technology with low thermal resistance will be a promising solution for high power LED lighting modules.  相似文献
