Bioavailability of iron (Fe) introduced in the form of nanoparticles of ferric oxide and ferric sulphate was characterized in rats receiving Fe-deficient semi synthetic diet. Shown that nanoparticles of ferric oxide as well as the traditional form of this trace element (soluble salt of Fe) can restore the status of this trace element disturbances due to its scarcity in the diet.  相似文献

The effect of three mixed autochthonous starter cultures in ripening profiles of experimental semihard goat cheeses was evaluated under controlled microbiological conditions. Enterococcus faecium ETC3 and ETC6, Lactobacillus plantarum ETC17 and L. rhamnosus ETC14 were used. Combination of all strains showed the highest level of water soluble nitrogen fraction and total free amino acids (TFAA) at ripening day 1, the lowest level of phosphotungstic acid nitrogen soluble fraction and TFAA at ripening day 64 and the highest global impression. Principal component analyses were performed to establish amino acid profiles relations in the samples.  相似文献

This research aimed to identify the drivers of acceptance and purchase intent of a probiotic (Bifidobacterium longum BL05) nonflavoured yoghurt supplemented with glucose oxidase, and to model the consumers’ acceptability using sensometrics and artificial neural networks (ANN). Consumers (n = 100) evaluated the degree of liking of yoghurt assays in respect of appearance, aroma, taste, texture and overall linking. Sensometric techniques – multiple linear regression (MLR), partial least squares regression (PLS), principal component regression (PCR) – and ANN were used to model the overall liking. Sensory drivers of global acceptance and purchase intent were also determined using logistic regression (LR). Hierarchical cluster analysis (HCA) identified three consumer segments that presented differences in all sensory attributes evaluated (P < 0.05). The ANN model showed the best performance to predict overall liking, followed by the MLR, PLS and PCR, indicating that taste and texture were the most significant attributes impacting the yoghurts overall liking. In accordance with the logistic models, overall acceptance and purchase intent could be predicted with 81.94 and 85.49% accuracy, respectively. The logistic regression indicated that taste was the attribute that contributed significantly (P < 0.0001) to higher scores for purchase intent and was considered the driver of acceptance.  相似文献

In this work, lipolysis, proteolysis and viscosity of ultra‐high temperature (UHT) milk containing different somatic cell counts (SCC) were investigated. UHT milks were analysed on days 8, 30, 60, 90 and 120 of storage. Lipolysis as measured by free fatty acids increase, casein degradation and viscosity of UHT milk were not affected by SCC but increased during storage. A negative relationship was observed between SCC and casein as a percentage of true protein on the 120th day of storage, hence indicating that high SCC increases the proteolysis of UHT milk by the end of its shelf life.  相似文献

Thermal barrier coatings were synthesized in a single step process from a slurry containing Al microspheres onto different Ni-based superalloys. Upon growth of the coating a top coat of hollow alumina spheres linked to an aluminium diffused coating through an alumina TGO formed. The isothermal and cyclic oxidation tests at different temperatures (900 till 1100 °C) up to 1000 h or 1500 cycles revealed progressive growth of different thermal oxides depending on the substrate composition. Faster degradation of the coatings occurred in the titanium-rich substrates (e.g. IN-738LC and PWA1483) compared to the titanium-poor ones (CM-247LC and René N5). By comparing with conventional low activity aluminide coatings, it appeared that the incorporation of alloying elements (notably Ti and Ta) to the diffused layers upon the high activity slurry coating process is responsible for such fastest degradation.  相似文献

Nucleophosmin-1 (NPM1) is a pleiotropic protein involved in numerous cellular processes. NPM1 shuttles between the nucleus and the cytoplasm, but exhibits a predominant nucleolar localization, where its fate and functions are exquisitely controlled by dynamic post-translational modifications (PTM). Sentrin/SUMO Specific Peptidase 3 (SENP3) and ARF are two nucleolar proteins involved in NPM1 PTMs. SENP3 antagonizes ARF-mediated NPM1 SUMOylation, to promote ribosomal biogenesis. In Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), NPM1 is frequently mutated, and exhibits an aberrant cytoplasmic localization (NPM1c). NPM1c mutations define a separate AML entity with good prognosis in some AML patients, rendering NPM1c as a potential therapeutic target. SENP3-mediated NPM1 de-SUMOylation induces resistance to therapy in NPM1c AML. Here, we demonstrate that the imidazoquinoxaline EAPB0503 prolongs the survival and results in selective reduction in the leukemia burden of NPM1c AML xenograft mice. Indeed, EAPB0503 selectively downregulates HDM2 expression and activates the p53 pathway in NPM1c expressing cells, resulting in apoptosis. Importantly, we unraveled that NPM1c expressing cells exhibit low basal levels of SUMOylation paralleled with high SENP3 and low ARF basal levels. EAPB0503 reverted these molecular players by inducing NPM1c SUMOylation and ubiquitylation, leading to its proteasomal degradation. EAPB0503-induced NPM1c SUMOylation is concurrent with SENP3 downregulation and ARF upregulation in NPM1c expressing cells. Collectively, these results provide a strong rationale for testing therapies modulating NPM1c post-translational modifications in the management of NPM1c AML.  相似文献

An experimental setup for studying filter-assisted dust collection is described. The role of various factors — hydraulic resistance, filtering velocity, dust concentration, pressure drop, efficiency of recovery — in the performance of filters intended for use in the production of refractory materials is considered. The dust removal method was tested under industrial conditions at the Semilukskii Refractory Plant and can be recommended for wider use in different branches of industry.  相似文献

The reaction of urea with formaldehyde is the basis for the production of urea‐formaldehyde (UF) resins which are widely applied in the wood industry. The presence of ether‐bridged condensation products in the UF resin reaction system is an open question in the literature. It is addressed in the present work. The N,N′‐dimethylurea‐formaldehyde model system was studied since it is chemically similar to the UF resin reaction system but allows for a simple elucidation of all reaction products. It was analyzed by 13C‐NMR spectroscopy and ESI‐MS. In corresponding NMR and MS spectra, peaks due to methoxymethylenebis(dimethyl)urea and its hemiformal were observed. 13C‐13C gCOSY analysis was conducted using labeled 13C‐formaldehyde. The correlation spectra showed evidence for an ether‐bridged compound and mass spectra exhibited peaks agreeing with labeled methoxymethylenebis(dimethyl)urea and its hemiformal. Methoxymethylenebis(dimethyl)urea was characterized in N,N′‐dimethylurea‐formaldehyde systems in acidic and slightly basic media. As urea is very similar to N,N′‐dimethylurea, the results of this work strengthen the assumption that ether‐bridged condensation products are likely to form in UF resins. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
