Chiral copper proline diamide complex has been immobilized on surface of mesoporous silica. These heterogenized complex catalysts were examined as asymmetric catalysts for the epoxidation of α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds with hydrogen peroxide, tert-butyl hydroperoxide and urea hydroperoxide as the oxidants under solvent-free condition. Enantiomeric excesses of up to 84% can be achieved conveniently with a good conversion using these promising catalysts.  相似文献

In this work, we present several new generic second-preimage attacks on hash functions. Our first attack is based on the herding attack and applies to various Merkle–Damgård-based iterative hash functions. Compared to the previously known long-message second-preimage attacks, our attack offers more flexibility in choosing the second-preimage message at the cost of a small computational overhead. More concretely, our attack allows the adversary to replace only a few blocks in the original target message to obtain the second preimage. As a result, our new attack is applicable to constructions previously believed to be immune to such second-preimage attacks. Among others, these include the dithered hash proposal of Rivest, Shoup’s UOWHF, and the ROX constructions. In addition, we also suggest several time-memory-data tradeoff attack variants, allowing for a faster online phase, and even finding second preimages for shorter messages. We further extend our attack to sequences stronger than the ones suggested in Rivest’s proposal. To this end we introduce the kite generator as a new tool to attack any dithering sequence over a small alphabet. Additionally, we analyse the second-preimage security of the basic tree hash construction. Here we also propose several second-preimage attacks and their time-memory-data tradeoff variants. Finally, we show how both our new and the previous second-preimage attacks can be applied even more efficiently when multiple short messages, rather than a single long target message, are available.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a novel intrusion detection technique with a fully automatic attack signatures generation capability. The proposed approach exploits a honeypot traffic data analysis to build an attack scenarios database, used to detect potential intrusions. Furthermore, for an effective and efficient intrusion detection mechanism, we introduce several new or adapted algorithms for signature generation, signature comparison, etc. Finally, we use DARPA’99 and UNSW-NB15 traffic to evaluate the proposed approach. The results indicate that the generated attack signatures are of high quality with low rates of false negatives and false positives.  相似文献

The human adrenal cortex is composed of distinct zones that are the main source of steroid hormone production. The mechanism of adrenocortical cell differentiation into several functionally organized populations with distinctive identities remains poorly understood. Human adrenal disease has been difficult to study, in part due to the absence of cultured cell lines that faithfully represent adrenal cell precursors in the early stages of transformation. Here, Human Adrenocortical Adenoma (HAA1) cell line derived from a patient’s macronodular adrenocortical hyperplasia and was treated with histone deacetylase inhibitors (HDACis) and gene expression was examined. We describe a patient-derived HAA1 cell line derived from the zona reticularis, the innermost zone of the adrenal cortex. The HAA1 cell line is unique in its ability to exit a latent state and respond with steroidogenic gene expression upon treatment with histone deacetylase inhibitors. The gene expression pattern of differentiated HAA1 cells partially recreates the roster of genes in the adrenal layer that they have been derived from. Gene ontology analysis of whole genome RNA-seq corroborated increased expression of steroidogenic genes upon HDAC inhibition. Surprisingly, HDACi treatment induced broad activation of the Tumor Necrosis Factor (TNF) alpha pathway. This novel cell line we developed will hopefully be instrumental in understanding the molecular and biochemical mechanisms controlling adrenocortical differentiation and steroidogenesis.  相似文献

Obesity is a risk factor that leads to the development of other diseases such as dyslipidemia and diabetes. These three metabolic disorders can occur simultaneously, hence, the treatment requires many drugs. Antioxidant compounds have been reported to have activities against obesity, dyslipidemia and diabetes via several mechanisms. This review aims to discuss the antioxidant compounds that have activity against obesity, dyslipidemia and diabetes together with their molecular signaling mechanism. The literature discussed in this review was obtained from the PUBMED database. Based on the collection of literature obtained, antioxidant compounds having activity against the three disorders (obesity, dyslipidemia and diabetes) were identified. The activity is supported by various molecular signaling pathways that are influenced by these antioxidant compounds, further study of which would be useful in predicting drug targets for a more optimal effect. This review provides insights on utilizing one of these antioxidant compounds as opposed to several drugs. It is hoped that in the future, the number of drugs in treating obesity, dyslipidemia and diabetes altogether can be minimized consequently reducing the risk of side effects.  相似文献

The use of renewable energy, such as wind and solar, has significantly increased in the last decade. However, these renewable technologies have the limitation of being intermittent; thus, storing energy in the form of compressed air is a promising option. In compressed air energy storage (CAES), the electrical energy from the power network is transformed into a high‐pressure storage system through a compressor. Then, when the demand for electricity is high, the stored high‐pressure air is used to drive a turbine to generate electricity. The advantages of CAES are its high energy density and quality, and for being environmentally friendly process. In the existing facilities of University of Auckland, New Zealand, air cavern is not available; thus, a high‐pressure tank is used to store the compressed air, which could provide an excellent opportunity for small size applications. There is a limited literature available on the temperature and pressure profiles in a typical high‐pressure tank during charging and discharging processes. Therefore, this research investigates how temperature and pressure inside a high‐pressure tank change during charging and discharging processes. It will provide a better understanding for heat transfer in such system. Furthermore, it will provide the necessary information needed for the designing of an efficient small‐scale CAES. In this work, air is compressed to a maximum pressure of 200 bar and stored into a 2 L tank, which is fully fitted with a pressure transducer and a thermocouple suitable for high‐pressure measurements. The charging and discharging process is theoretically modeled, and the results are compared with the experimental measurements, showing a good agreement. The heat balance on the system is used to validate the steady‐state condition, while dynamic analysis is used to predict the transient change of compressed air and tank wall temperatures. The theoretical modeling is undertaken by solving the differential equations describing the transient change in temperature of both air and tank wall. The results of this study show that air temperature rises from 24°C to 60°C at 100 bar and from approximately 17°C to over 60°C at 200 bar. During discharging process, air temperature drops from ambient to 5°C at starting pressure of 100 bar and to ?20°C at starting pressure of 200 bar.  相似文献

SmBa0.5Sr0.5Co2O5+δ (SBSC55) impregnated with nano-sized Ce0.8Sm0.2O1.9 (SDC) powder has been investigated as a candidate cathode for intermediate-temperature solid oxide fuel cells (IT-SOFCs). The cathode chemical compatibility with electrolyte, thermal expansion behavior, and electrochemical performance are investigated. For compatibility, a good chemical compatibility between SBSC55 and SDC electrolyte is still kept at 1100 °C in air. For thermal dilation curve, it could be divided into two regions, one is the low temperature region (100–265 °C); the other is the high temperature region (265–850 °C). In the low temperature region (100–265 °C), a TEC value is about 17.0 × 10?6 K?1 and an increase in slope in the higher temperatures region (265–800 °C), in which a TEC value is around 21.1 × 10?6 K?1. There is an inflection region ranged from 225 to 330 °C in the curve of d(δL/L)/dT vs. temperature. The peak inflection point located about 265 °C is associated to the initial temperature for the loss of lattice oxygen and the formation of oxygen vacancies. For electrochemical properties, the polarization resistances (Rp) significantly reduced from 4.17 Ω cm2 of pure SBSC55 to 1.28 Ω cm2 of 0.65 mg cm?2 of SDC-impregnated SBSC55 at 600 °C. The single cell performance of SBSC55∣SDC∣Ni-SDC loaded with 0.65 mg cm?2 SDC exhibited the optimum power density of 823 mW cm?2 at operating temperature of 800 °C. Based on above-mentioned properties, SBSC55 impregnated with an appropriate SDC is a potential cathode for IT-SOFCs.  相似文献
