This work describes a class of complex combining three dithienylethene units and a lanthanide ion used as an optical system displaying a double encryption method: i) a colorful code, drawn and erased under UV and visible irradiations respectively, due to coloration and discoloration of the photochromic entities, and ii) a concomitant gradual disappearance and progressive restoration of the associated lanthanide ion luminescence triggered with the same stimuli. The innovation of the system stems from the emission color tunability, i.e., with either a lanthanide ion emitting only in the visible range (Eu3+) or with another lanthanide ion emitting only in the near infrared (NIR) range (Yb3+), therefore observable, or not, to the naked eye. This system is the very first one to achieve efficient repeatable modulation of pure NIR luminescence on photochemical command. Furthermore, it is proven to be highly efficient when embedded in a PDMS polymer opening real opportunities for practical applications as anti‐counterfeiting. 相似文献

There are many photovoltaic/thermal (PV/T) systems' designs that are used mainly to reduce the temperature of the PV cell by using a thermal medium to cool the photovoltaic module. In this study, a PV/T system uses nano‐phase change material (PCM) and nanofluid cooling system was adopted. Three cooling models were compared using nanofluid (SiC‐water) and nano‐PCM to improve the performance and productivity of the PV/T system. Three mathematical models were developed for linear prediction, and their results were compared with the predicted artificial neural network results, results were verified, and experimental results were appropriate. Three common evaluation criteria were adopted to compare that the results of proposed forecasting models with other models developed in many research studies are done, including the R2, mean square error (MSE), and root‐mean‐square error (RMSE). Besides, different experiments were implemented using varying number of hidden layers to ensure that the proposed neural network models achieved the best results. The best neural prediction models deployed in this study resulted in good R2 score of 0.81 and MSE of 0.0361 and RMSE and RMSE rate is 0.371. Mathematical models have proven their high potential to easily determine the future outcomes with the preferable circumstances for any PV/T system in a precise way to reduce the error rate to the lowest level. 相似文献

This paper considers the state‐dependent interference relay channel (SIRC) in which one of the two users may operate as a secondary user and the relay has a noncausal access to the signals from both users. For discrete memoryless SIRC, we first establish the achievable rate region by carefully merging Han‐Kobayashi rate splitting encoding technique, superposition encoding, and Gelfand‐Pinsker encoding technique. Then, based on the achievable rate region that we derive, the capacity of the SIRC is established in many different scenarios including (a) the weak interference regime, (b) the strong interference regime, and (c) the very strong interference regime. This means that our capacity results contain all available known results in the literature. Next, the achievable rate region and the associated capacity results are also evaluated in the case of additive Gaussian noise. Phosphorodiamidate morpholino oligomers (PMOs) are oligonucleotide analogs that can be used for therapeutic modulation of pre‐mRNA splicing. Similar to other classes of nucleic acid‐based therapeutics, PMOs require delivery systems for efficient transport to the intracellular target sites. Here, artificial peptides based on the oligo(ethylenamino) acid succinyl‐tetraethylenpentamine (Stp), hydrophobic modifications, and an azide group are presented, which are used for strain‐promoted azide‐alkyne cycloaddition conjugation with splice‐switching PMOs. By systematically varying the lead structure and formulation, it is determined that the type of contained fatty acid and supramolecular assembly have a critical impact on the delivery efficacy. A compound containing linolenic acid with three cis double bonds exhibits the highest splice‐switching activity and significantly increases functional protein expression in pLuc/705 reporter cells in vitro and after local administration in vivo. Structural and mechanistic studies reveal that the lipopeptide PMO conjugates form nanoparticles, which accelerate cellular uptake and that the content of unsaturated fatty acids enhances endosomal escape. In an in vitro Duchenne muscular dystrophy exon skipping model using H2K‐mdx52 dystrophic skeletal myotubes, the highly potent PMO conjugates mediate significant splice‐switching at very low nanomolar concentrations. The presented aminoethylene‐lipopeptides are thus a promising platform for the generation of PMO‐therapeutics with a favorable activity/toxicity profile. 相似文献

Palaeo‐exposure surfaces within and at the top of the carbonate‐dominated Aptian Dariyan Formation have been poorly studied in the Iranian sector of the Persian Gulf. This paper presents an integrated sedimentological and geochemical study of the Dariyan Formation at four oil and gas fields located in the western, central and eastern parts of the Gulf. Facies stacking patterns in general indicate shallowing‐upwards trends toward the exposure surfaces, which are interpreted to correspond to unconformities. The Dariyan Formation in the study area is divided into upper and lower carbonate units by a deep‐water, high‐gamma shale‐marl interval. At fields in the western and central Gulf, significant diagenetic changes were recorded in the top of the upper carbonate unit, including meteoric dissolution and cementation, brecciation and paleosol formation. An exposure surface is also present at the top of the lower carbonate unit in all the fields in the study area, and is associated with meteoric dissolution and cementation of grain‐dominated facies. Age calibration of studied intervals was carried out using microfossil assemblages including benthic and planktonic foraminifera. Negative excursions of both δ18O (?10‰ VPDB) and δ13C (?0.66‰ VPDB) were recorded in weathered intervals located below the unconformity surfaces. A sequence stratigraphic framework for the Dariyan Formation was established by integrating sedimentological, palaeontological and geochemical data. The δ13C curve for the formation in the Iranian sector of the Persian Gulf can be correlated with the reference curve for the northern Neotethys and used as a basis for regional stratigraphic correlation. Where the top‐Aptian unconformity is present, it has resulted in an enhancement of the reservoir characteristics of the underlying carbonate succession. Accordingly, the best reservoir zones in the Dariyan Formation occur in the upper parts of the lower and upper carbonate units which are bounded above by significant palaeo‐exposure surfaces. 相似文献

Ziegler-Natta and Metallocene Catalysis isotactic polypropylene with different chemical defects were isothermally crystallized at various crystallization temperatures. The crystal thickness and their corresponding melting behavior were studied using small angle X-ray scattering, atomic force microscopy, optical microscopy, and differential scanning calorimetry. The equilibrium melt temperature of the samples was calculated from the Hofmann-Weeks extrapolation for the supercooling. Two lamellar populations were distinctly observed in all cases during the crystallization process. Relatively thicker and stable lamellar crystals which melt at higher temperatures were observed with lowering the supercooling and found catalysis dependence in these crystals. During melting, no significant recrystallization of the samples has been detected for higher crystallization temperature where recrystallization processes enhance the lamellae thickness. The melting of the crystals has found strong dependence with the crystallization temperatures, the catalysis process and the nature of the defects present in the isotactic polypropylene. The increase of the crystal lamellae thickness and their melting temperature might be presumably related with the chain folding mechanism as well as the stability of the crystals formed during the isothermal crystallization process. A combined plot of SAXS and DSC results is demonstrated for the equilibrium melting temperature followed by critical analysis of the results. 相似文献

Bond behavior between corrosion damaged reinforced concrete and carbon fiber reinforced concrete polymer (CFRP) sheets was experimentally investigated. Forty ordinary strength concrete blocks (150 × 150 × 200 mm) were reinforced at one side across the 200-mm-dimension using three conventional ?12 mm steel bars at a spacing of (30, 40, and 50 mm) at a concrete clear cover of 15 mm. Thirty blocks were subjected to a cyclic treatment in 3% chloride solution until corrosion initiated and resulted in three different global cracking widths of up to 0.90 mm. Both control and corrosion damaged blocks were attached to CFRP sheets over their steel reinforced zone at bond lengths and widths ranging from (90 to 150 mm) and (50 to 150 mm), respectively, with CFRP bond length-to-bar spacing ratio kept constant at 1/3. Near-end pull-off tests were carried out using a special setup, mounted on a Universal Testing machine. Corrosion cracking caused significant reductions in bond strength, and slippage at ultimate stress at (41 and 68%), respectively. Other bond characteristics such as stress at first slippage, and bond stiffness and toughness were reduced, as well, by as high as (83, 44 and 67%) of those of control specimens, respectively. Corrosion cracks were more detrimental for smaller bond length and width values; especially after first and second corrosion stages, where bond failure was categorized by concrete skin peeling-off. 相似文献
