Telecom carriers have positioned IPTV as one of the key components of triple-play (broadband, television, and voice) or quad-play (with the addition of mobility). Adoption of Web services within a SOA framework as building blocks for developing complex media workflows is an important step toward reuse of media processing tools in an IPTV environment. A Web services approach also provides the capability to abstract network-based services for creation of composite services that can be executed in an IPTV environment. At the same time, adoption of a service bus provides a single point of integration for multiple services, and common features such as service registry and discovery, reliable message delivery, and transformation in a heterogeneous production environment. In this article we present an approach of media enabling the service bus to support offline digital media processes and composite service execution in an IPTV production environment.  相似文献

The bio hydroxyapatite (HAp) was used from a long time in different medical and environmental applications. The HAp layers with a uniform surface were used for various medical applications such as orthopedic and dental metal implants. In this work, we reported on the influence of X‐ray radiation on the structural and morphological properties of composite layers based on HAp and polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) deposited on titanium substrates. The HAp:PDMS layers were investigated by different complementary methods such as scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and glow discharge optical emission spectrometry (GDOES). FTIR spectral analysis showed that the molecular structure of the coatings was not changed after their irradiation even though, the depth profile analysis performed by GDOES indicated a depletion of Ca and P elements from the HAp:PDMS irradiated samples. By SEM, we showed that the morphological features of the coatings were also changed, as the irradiated layers are delaminated. The biological assays confirmed that the antibacterial activity of HAp:PDMS composite layers increased after irradiation. The results obtained in this study highlighted that the biological properties of HAp:PDMS layers could be influenced by irradiation. POLYM. ENG. This study deals with the influence of static and dynamic objects on the airflow (generated by a unidirectional air supply) inside an “open” ventilated system used in an agro-food production line. Firstly, the presence of operator’s arms, considered here as objects, leads to the appearance of recirculating zones under each arm. The influence of different positions of the static arms protected by gloves on the airflow organization has been studied. Secondly, modifications induced by the motion of a conveyor system or of moving arms on the airflow have been explored.In an experimental approach, airflow organization has been studied by visualization and by Particle Image Velocimetry for static cases and moving conveyor case.Numerical simulations were carried out using Computational Fluids Dynamics codes. Results obtained for moving gloves cases highlight the contribution of dynamic meshes tools, implemented in the CFD codes to make simulations of moving objects.  相似文献

Abstract

Small-angle X-ray and neutron scattering was applied for the structural characterization of aggregates in water dispersions of fullerene C60 prepared by dialysis method and its conjugate with amino acid arginine. Two compounds are also compared with respect to their toxic properties. Experiments on the cytotoxicity of these systems on the A549, HepG2 and HeLa cells showed no toxic effects of the dispersions.  相似文献

The present study investigates the effect of ball milling on thermal conductivity and viscosity of stable nanofluid of fly ash from Indian coal. The particle size of fly ash decreased from micron size to 89, 55.5, and 11.5 nm with reduction by 55, 90, and 434 times, respectively, due to ball milling for 30, 40, and 60 hours. The surfactant Triton X-100 was used to attain stability of 0.1% and 0.5% volume concentration of fly ash nanofluid. The samples were characterized by using scanning electron microscopy, dynamic light scattering, and zeta potential analysis. The outcome reveals that the thermal conductivity of fly ash nanofluid increases with temperature, volume concentration, and reduction in particle size. A maximum enhancement in thermal conductivity of 11.9% with 11.5-nm nanofluid sample and 5.4% with 89-nm nanofluid sample for 0.5% concentration at 60°C is observed. The viscosity of fly ash nanofluid increases with concentration and varies inversely with particle size and temperature. A difference of 1.6% in viscosity is observed between the values obtained with 11.5 and 89 nm nanofluid samples for 0.5% concentration at 30°C.  相似文献

Excess adiposity is associated with chronic inflammation, which takes part in the development of obesity-related complications. The aim of this study was to establish whether subcutaneous (SAT) or visceral (VAT) adipose tissue plays a major role in synthesis of pro-inflammatory cytokines. Concentrations of interleukins (IL): 1β, 6, 8 and 15 were measured at the protein level by an ELISA-based method and on the mRNA level by real-time PCR in VAT and SAT samples obtained from 49 obese (BMI > 40 kg/m2) and 16 normal-weight (BMI 20–24.9 kg/m2) controls. IL-6 and IL-15 protein concentrations were higher in SAT than in VAT for both obese (p = 0.003 and p < 0.0001, respectively) and control individuals (p = 0.004 and p = 0.001, respectively), while for IL-1β this was observed only in obese subjects (p = 0.047). What characterized obese individuals was the higher expression of IL-6 and IL-15 at the protein level in VAT compared to normal-weight controls (p = 0.047 and p = 0.016, respectively). Additionally, obese individuals with metabolic syndrome had higher IL-1β levels in VAT than did obese individuals without this syndrome (p = 0.003). In conclusion, concentrations of some pro-inflammatory cytokines were higher in SAT than in VAT, but it was the increased pro-inflammatory activity of VAT that was associated with obesity and metabolic syndrome.  相似文献

A carbosilane pseudo‐dendrimer with irregular structure and degree of branching DB = 1 was synthesized and fractionated. The molar masses of the obtained fractions ranged from 5000 to 490 000 g mol?1. The hydrodynamic and conformational properties were studied by the methods of light scattering, sedimentation‐diffusion analysis and viscometry in dilute hexane and toluene solutions. The Mark ? Kuhn ? Houwink dependences were obtained. The results for the pseudo‐dendrimer are compared with the data for the initial hyperbranched poly(diallylcarbosilane) with DB = 0.5 and carbosilane dendrimer. It is shown that the solution properties of the pseudo‐dendrimer are close to those for the irregular hyperbranched polymer and differ significantly from the dendrimer behavior. Hence, it is branching regularity rather than the degree of branching that determines the conformational and hydrodynamic properties of hyperbranched polymers with a high degree of branching DB ≥ 0.5. © 2014 Society of Chemical Industry  相似文献
