This paper proposes a new measurement‐based approach that can solve synthesis problems in unknown linear circuits. The method makes use of a small number of measurements to determine the functional dependency of any circuit signal or variable on any set of design variables. Once the functional dependency is obtained, the design requirements can be applied to find the design parameter values. This study concerns green thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU) obtained by controlling the chemical structure of flexible segments. Two types of bio-based polyether polyols—poly(trimethylene glycol)s—with average molecular weights ca. 1000 and 2700 Da were used (PO3G1000 and PO3G2700, respectively). TPUs were prepared via a two-step method. Hard segments consisted of 4,4′-diphenylmethane diisocyanates and the bio-based 1,4-butanodiol (used as a chain extender and used to control the [NCO]/[OH] molar ratio). The impacts of the structure of flexible segments, the amount of each type of prepolymer, and the [NCO]/[OH] molar ratio on the chemical structure and selected properties of the TPUs were verified. By regulating the number of flexible segments of a given type, different selected properties of TPU materials were obtained. Thermal analysis confirmed the high thermal stability of the prepared materials and revealed that TPUs based on a higher amount of prepolymer synthesized from PO3G2700 have a tendency for cold crystallization. An increase in the amount of PO3G1000 at the flexible segments caused an increase in the tensile strength and decrease in the elongation at break. Melt flow index results demonstrated that the increase in the amount of prepolymer based on PO3G1000 resulted in TPUs favorable in terms of machining. 相似文献

The present work deals with reverse engineering on four rubber formulations. Information about the material composition of the compounding formulations was obtained by using techniques such as acetone extract, thermogravimetric analysis, energy dispersive X‐ray fluorescence studies, and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy in attenuated total reflection mode. The reverse engineered formulations were compared on a qualitative and quantitative basis with the initial formulations. The aim was to ascertain the validity of the methodology, which may be used as reverse engineering of rubber compounds to quantitatively analyze unknown ground tire rubber in future. The state of the art was based on a fractional mass transfer from acetone extract to the rubbers detected in TGA. Through this new approach, the formulations calculated were very consistent with the formulations employed, thus establishing the validity of the methodology used. POLYM. ENG. The cycloaddition of CO2 to epoxides represents a green efficient method to form bis(cyclic carbonate)s. The main purpose of the work reported in this paper was to examine the effect of the gas flow rate (20, 40, 60 and 100 mL min–1) during carbonation on the conversion yield, chemical structure, rheological behaviour and thermal properties of the prepared compounds. A series of new bis(cyclic carbonate)s was obtained from bio‐based polyether polyol. The syntheses were performed in the absence of toxic solvents and the process did not require the use of elevated pressure. The progressive structural changes and the presence of characteristic chemical groups were monitored by attenuated total reflection Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The characterization of the structure by 1H NMR and 13C NMR also confirmed the formation of cyclic carbonate moieties. The non‐Newtonian behaviour and the optimal mathematical model (Herschel–Bulkley) were verified by rheological measurements. The materials obtained could be used as a chemical intermediate to synthesize advanced materials based upon polyurethanes without using isocyanates. © 2019 Society of Chemical Industry 相似文献

Epoxy [50:50 mixture of Di‐Glycidyl Ether of Bis‐Phenol A (DGEBA) and Epoxidized Novolac (EPN)] was solution blended with Vinyl Acetate‐2‐ Ethylhexylacrylate (VAc‐EHA) resin in aqueous medium, in varying weight fractions, with Hexamethoxymethylmelamine (HMMM) as a crosslinker and data was compared with a control. The present work was aimed to optimize the tensile strength, dynamic mechanical strength, impact strength, and toughness by preparing a blend followed by jute composites of a semi‐ and full interpenetrating network (IPN). In control experiments epoxy alone was crosslinked (semi‐IPN), whereas the DGEBA‐EPN and VAc‐EHA/HMMM were crosslinked separately (full‐IPN), using jute as the substrate for making composites. Composites of full‐IPN systems of epoxy/VAc‐EHA system had higher moduli and UTS than the semi‐IPN systems. Dynamic mechanical study showed that full‐IPN systems have higher Tg values than semi‐IPN systems. This paper presents a new design of multi micro manipulation system using ionic polymer metal composite (IPMC) micro grippers for robotic micro assembly where IPMC is used as a light weight actuator for developing the micro grippers. It has the potential of large displacement, low mass force generation and misalignment compensation ability during micro manipulation. These capabilities are utilized for handling of miniature parts like pegs. The analysis of IPMC micro gripper and manipulator are carried out for developing a multi micro manipulation system that can handle pegs in micro assembly operation for shifting one to another hole position in a large work space (100 mm × 100 mm). By developing a prototype, it is demonstrated that IPMC based micro grippers are capable of handling the peg-in-hole assembly tasks in a multi micro manipulation system. 相似文献

Hyperspectral images are captured from hundreds of narrow and contiguous bands from the visible to infrared regions of electromagnetic spectrum. Each pixel of an image is represented by a vector where the components of the vector constitute the reflectance value of the surface for each of the bands. The length of the vector is equal to the number of bands. Due to the presence of large number of bands, classification of hyperspectral images becomes computation intensive. Moreover, higher correlation among neighboring bands increases the redundancy among them. As a result, feature selection becomes very essential for reducing the dimensionality. In the proposed work, an attempt has been made to develop a supervised feature selection technique guided by evolutionary algorithms. Self-adaptive differential evolution (SADE) is used for feature subset generation. Generated subsets are evaluated using a wrapper model where fuzzy k-nearest neighbor classifier is taken into consideration. Our proposed method also uses a feature ranking technique, ReliefF algorithm, for removing duplicate features. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method, investigation is carried out on three sets of data and the results are compared with four other evolutionary based state-of-the-art feature selection techniques. The proposed method shows promising results compared to others in terms of overall classification accuracy and Kappa coefficient. 相似文献
