Anode-supported solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC) comprising nickel + iron anode support and gadolinia-doped ceria (GDC) of composition Gd0.1Ce0.9O2−δ thin film electrolyte were fabricated, and their performance was evaluated. The ratio of Fe2O3 to NiO in the anode support was 3 to 7 on a molar basis. Fe2O3 and NiO powders were mixed in the desired proportions and discs were die-pressed. All other layers were sequentially applied on the anode support. The cell structure consisted of five distinct layers: anode support – Ni + Fe; anode functional layer – Ni + GDC; electrolyte – GDC; cathode functional layer – LSC (La0.6Sr0.4CoO3−δ) + GDC; and cathode current collector – LSC. Cells with three different variations of the electrolyte were made: (1) thin GDC electrolyte (∼15 μm); (2) thick GDC electrolyte (∼25 μm); and (3) tri-layer GDC/thin yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ)/GDC electrolyte (∼25 μm). Cells were tested with hydrogen as fuel and air as oxidant up to 650 °C. The maximum open circuit voltage measured at 650 °C was ∼0.83 V and maximum power density measured was ∼0.68 W cm−2. The aim of the present paper is to develop a semi-analytical method which can quickly and accurately compute the elastic–plastic large deflection response of welded steel or aluminum plating under a combination of biaxial compression/tension, biaxial in-plane bending, edge shear and lateral pressure loads, until the ultimate limit state is reached. The post-weld initial imperfections (i.e. initial deflection and residual stresses) are included in the method as parameters of influence. It is assumed that the plating is simply supported at all (four) edges which are kept straight. A unique feature of the developed method is that geometric nonlinearity associated with large deflection response of plating under combined loads is treated by analytically solving the nonlinear governing differential equations of the elastic large deflection plate theory, while material nonlinearity due to plasticity is dealt with implicitly by a numerical procedure. This approach reduces the magnitude of numerical computations, resulting in a saving of modeling effort and computing time. As another contribution, this paper investigates and discusses the ultimate strength characteristics of plating, by varying the plate properties and load combinations, based on elastic–plastic large deflection analysis using the developed method. 相似文献

Mullite-SiC nanocomposites are synthesized by introducing surface modified sol-gel mullite coated SiC particles in the matrix
and densification and associated microstructural features of such precursor are reported. Nanosize SiC (average size 180 nm)
surface was first provided with a mullite precursor coating which was characterized by the X-ray analysis and TEM. An average
coating thickness of 120 nm was obtained on the SiC particles. The green compacts obtained by cold isostatic pressing were
sintered in the range 1500–1700°C under pressureless sintering in the N2 atmosphere. The percentage of the theoretical sintered density decreases with increase in SiC content. A maximum sintered
density of 97% was achieved for mullite-5 vol.% SiC. The fractograph of the sintered composite showed a highly dense, fine
grained microstructure with the SiC particles uniformly distributed along the grains as well as at the grain boundaries inside
the mullite. The Vicker’s microhardness of mullite-5 vol.% SiC composite was measured as 1320 kg/mm2 under an applied indentation load of 500 g. This value gradually decreased with an increase in SiC content. 相似文献

A fundamental problem in wireless networks is to estimate their throughput capacity—given a set of wireless nodes and a set
of connections, what is the maximum rate at which data can be sent on these connections. Most of the research in this direction
has focused either on random distributions of points, or has assumed simple graph-based models for wireless interference.
In this paper, we study the capacity estimation problem using a realistic Signal to Interference Plus Noise Ratio (SINR) model
for interference, on arbitrary wireless networks without any assumptions on node distributions. The problem becomes much more
challenging for this setting, because of the non-locality of the SINR model. Recent work by Moscibroda et al. (IEEE INFOCOM
2006, ACM MobiHoc 2006) has shown that the throughput achieved by using SINR models can differ significantly from that obtained

The rheological and baking properties of flaxseed/wheat composite flours were studied. Flaxseed flour was used to replace 50, 100, 150 and 200 g kg?1 of wheat flour in bread. Farinographic studies showed that water absorption, dough development time and mixing tolerance index increased as the amount of flaxseed flour increased, while dough stability decreased at 100, 150 and 200 g kg?1 of flaxseed flour substitution. The extensographic energy of dough also decreased at 150 and 200 g kg?1 flaxseed levels. The addition of increasing amounts of flaxseed flour caused a decrease in extensibility. Doughs containing 100, 150 and 200 g kg?1 flaxseed flour showed resistance to extension comparable to that of control dough. The specific volume of flaxseed flour breads was similar to that of control bread. Crust L, a, b values of breads with flaxseed flour were lower than those of control bread. Breads with flaxseed flour gave lower crumb L and b values and higher a values than control bread. Biofiltration and kinetic aspects of a biotrickling filter for the removal of paint solvent mixture laden air stream 总被引:10,自引:0,他引:10
In the present study, removal of methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), toluene, n-butyl acetate and o-xylene (MTBX) emitted from the paint industry was carried out in a coal based biotrickling filter. When the influent MTBX loadings were less than 120 gm(-3)h(-1), nearly 100% removal could be achieved. A maximum elimination capacity of 184.86 gm(-3)h(-1) was obtained at a MTBX load of 278.27 gm(-3)h(-1) with an empty bed residence time of 42.4s in phase V. Results showed that the condition was the most favorable for n-butyl acetate degradation followed by MEK, toluene and then o-xylene. The corresponding maximum removal rate, r(max) values of MTBX were calculated as 0.085, 0.033, 0.16 and 0.024 gm(-3)h(-1), respectively. Standard deviation of error in prediction of MEK, toluene and o-xylene removal were within limit of 10%, while in the case of n-butyl acetate this was approximately 60%. The MTBX concentration profiles along the depth were also determined by using convection-diffusion reaction (CDR) model. It was observed that at low concentration and low flow rate, the model is in good agreement with the experimental values for MEK, toluene and n-butyl acetate, but for o-xylene the model results deviated from the experimental. 相似文献

A solution method is presented for the analysis of contact between two (or more) three-dimensional bodies. The surfaces of the contacting bodies are discretized using quadrilateral surface segments. A Lagrange multiplier technique is employed to impose that, in the contact area, the surface displacements of the contacting bodies are compatible with each other. Distributed contact tractions over the surface segments are calculated from the externally applied forces, inertia forces and internal element stresses. Using the segment tractions, Coulomb's law of friction is enforced in a global sense over each surface segment. Model checking is a formal verification technique. It takes an exhaustively strategy to check hardware circuits and network protocols against desired properties. Having been developed for more than three decades, model checking is now playing an important role in software engineering for verifying rather complicated software artifacts.This paper surveys the role of model checking in software engineering. In particular, we searched for the related literatures published at reputed conferences, symposiums, workshops, and journals, and took a survey of (1) various model checking techniques that can be adapted to software development and their implementations, and (2) the use of model checking at different stages of a software development life cycle. We observed that model checking is useful for software debugging, constraint solving, and malware detection, and it can help verify different types of software systems, such as object- and aspect-oriented systems, service-oriented applications, web-based applications, and GUI applications including safety- and mission-critical systems.The survey is expected to help human engineers understand the role of model checking in software engineering, and as well decide which model checking technique(s) and/or tool(s) are applicable for developing, analyzing and verifying a practical software system. For researchers, the survey also points out how model checking has been adapted to their research topics on software engineering and its challenges. 相似文献

In this work, we used ωB97XD density functional and 6-31++G** basis set to study the structure, electron affinity, populations via Boltzmann distribution, and one-electron reduction potentials (E°) of 2′-deoxyribose sugar radicals in aqueous phase by considering 2′-deoxyguanosine and 2′-deoxythymidine as a model of DNA. The calculation predicted the relative stability of sugar radicals in the order C4′• > C1′• > C5′• > C3′• > C2′•. The Boltzmann distribution populations based on the relative stability of the sugar radicals were not those found for ionizing radiation or OH-radical attack and are good evidence the kinetic mechanisms of the processes drive the products formed. The adiabatic electron affinities of these sugar radicals were in the range 2.6–3.3 eV which is higher than the canonical DNA bases. The sugar radicals reduction potentials (E°) without protonation (−1.8 to −1.2 V) were also significantly higher than the bases. Thus the sugar radicals will be far more readily reduced by solvated electrons than the DNA bases. In the aqueous phase, these one-electron reduced sugar radicals (anions) are protonated from solvent and thus are efficiently repaired via the “electron-induced proton transfer mechanism”. The calculation shows that, in comparison to efficient repair of sugar radicals by the electron-induced proton transfer mechanism, the repair of the cyclopurine lesion, 5′,8-cyclo-2′-dG, would involve a substantial barrier. 相似文献
