Mono- and diesters of fatty acids of peracetylated α-d-glucopyranose were prepared by chemical interesterification. Substituent-induced chemical shift effects on the carbonyl carbons rather than the ring carbons and proton atoms unambiguosly show the fatty acyl substituents to be at C1 in the monosubstituted, and at C1 and C6 in the disubstituted products. 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) integration data before and after interesterification complemented 13C chemical shift data in verifying the molecular structures. Empirical data from classical 1H and 13C NMR experiments thus provide a simple self-contained method for determining the number and position of fatty acyl substituents, and the anomeric compositions of peracetylated glucose fatty esters.  相似文献

Three types of nanoparticle formulation from biodegradable PLGA-TPGS random copolymer were developed in this research for oral administration of anticancer drugs, which include DMAB-modified PLGA nanoparticles, unmodified PLGA-TPGS nanoparticles and DMAB-modified PLGA-TPGS nanoparticles. Firstly, the PLGA-TPGS random copolymer was synthesized and characterized. DMAB was used to increase retention time at the cell surface, thus increasing the chances of particle uptake and improving oral drug bioavailability. Nanoparticles were found to be of spherical shape with an average particle diameter of around 250 nm. The surface charge of PLGA-TPGS nanoparticles was changed to positive after DMAB modification. The results also showed that the DMAB-modified PLGA-TPGS nanoparticles have significantly higher level of the cellular uptake than that of DMAB-modified PLGA nanoparticles and unmodified PLGA-TPGS nanoparticles. In vitro, cytotoxicity experiment showed advantages of the DMAB-modified PLGA-TPGS nanoparticle formulation over commercial Taxotere® in terms of cytotoxicity against MCF-7 cells. In conclusion, oral chemotherapy by DMAB-modified PLGA-TPGS nanoparticle formulation is an attractive and promising treatment option for patients.  相似文献

Comparative studies on the effect of aluminium particles in natural rubber (NR) and ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer (EPDM) were conducted. The incorporation of aluminium particles in NR or EPDM composites increased the cure time, t 90, and scorch time, t S2 . At a fixed filler loading, EPDM composites exhibited longer t 90 and t S2 than NR composites. The results also indicate that the maximum torque, M H of aluminium filled NR and EPDM composites increase with increasing filler loading. For tensile properties, EPDM composites show lower tensile properties than NR composites. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) results show that aluminium filled EPDM composites have better thermal stability than aluminium filled NR composites.

The results for electrical properties indicate that the electrical properties of aluminium filled NR and EPDM composites increase with increase in filler loading.  相似文献

Engkabang fat esters were synthesized from engkabang fat using an enzyme as catalyst. The main composition of the fat esters were oleyl palmitate, oleyl stearate and oleyl oleate. The percentage yield was 93.67%. Ternary phase diagrams systems containing fat esters/surfactant/water were constructed. Several regions appeared in the ternary phase diagrams such as isotropic, homogenous, liquid crystal, two-phase and three-phase regions. Increasing the hydrophilic-lipophilic balance value of the used surfactants gave a larger homogenous and isotropic region in ternary phase diagrams of engkabang fat esters/nonionic surfactant/deionized water. Isotropic and homogenous regions in the ternary phase diagram of engkabang fat esters: PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil (2:1)/polyoxyethylene(20) sorbitan tri-oleate/deionized water, was the largest when compared to the other ternary phase diagrams. The isotropic and homogenous region can be used as a medium in formulation of cosmetics and pharmaceutical products such as creams, lotions, balms and lipsticks.  相似文献

In this study, estimation capabilities of the artificial neural network (ANN) and the wavelet neural network (WNN) based on genetic algorithm were investigated in a synthesis process. An enzymatic reaction catalyzed by Novozym 435 was selected as the model synthesis process. The conversion of enzymatic reaction was investigated as a response of five independent variables; enzyme amount, reaction time, reaction temperature, substrates molar ratio and agitation speed in conjunction with an experimental design. After training of the artificial neurons in ANN and WNN, using the data of 30 experimental points, the products were used for estimation of the response of the 18 experimental points. Estimated responses were compared with the experimentally determined responses and prediction capabilities of ANN and WNN were determined. Performance assessment indicated that the WNN model possessed superior predictive ability than the ANN model, since a very close agreement between the experimental and the predicted values was obtained.  相似文献

Stone model casts of a patient's maxillary and mandibular arches were used to fabricate a clear, soft, vacuum-formed custom mouth guard that was scalloped to end 1.0 mm supragingivally. The patient was given prophylaxis and oral hygiene home care instruction, and instructions regarding the placement of an at-home bleaching gel into the mouth guard and the mouth guard into the mouth. The patient was asked to wear the mouth guard for two hours daily before bedtime for one week and to return to the clinic for evaluation. This protocol was followed for three weeks for each arch. At the end of the three weeks, the stains on the most affected teeth were reduced dramatically.  相似文献
