This describes a converged network architecture and then discusses why it needs to be open and programmable and how this can be accomplished. A discussion of two approaches to open/programmable networks-JAIN and Parlay-is provided to highlight the key ideas. The converged network is a key player in e-business and the next-generation applications currently being developed for the growing digital economy. We discuss the role of telecommunications bandwidth trading and application integration in next-generation applications (NGAs) and their relevance to converged networks. Some of the challenges software engineers and programmers can expect to encounter while trying to build these networks are also discussed  相似文献

FTFN based single input and three outputs transadmittance filter topology supporting simultaneously three filtering signals LP, BP, and HP without any passive component matching conditions is presented. The filter uses three PFTFNs and five passive components and realizes all current signals at high impedances, lending feature of cascadibility to the circuit. The circuit enjoys low sensitivity figures. PSPICE simulation results confirming the theoretical calculations are included.  相似文献

Graded extraction of oil-free, dehulled, rapeseed cotyledon meal with boiling aqueous ethanol, hot water, hot ammonium oxalate and finally sodium hydroxide yielded a series of fractions. Wireless sensor networks (WSN) consist of hundreds of miniature sensor nodes to sense various events in the surrounding environment and report back to the base station. Sensor networks are at the base of internet of things (IoT) and smart computing applications where a function is performed as a result of sensed event or information. However, in resource‐limited WSN authenticating a remote user is a vital security concern. Recently, researchers put forth various authentication protocols to address different security issues. Gope et al presented a protocol claiming resistance against known attacks. A thorough analysis of their protocol shows that it is vulnerable to user traceability, stolen verifier, and denial of service (DoS) attacks. In this article, an enhanced symmetric key‐based authentication protocol for IoT‐based WSN has been presented. The proposed protocol has the ability to counter user traceability, stolen verifier, and DoS attacks. Furthermore, the proposed protocol has been simulated and verified using Proverif and BAN logic. The proposed protocol has the same communication cost as the baseline protocol; however, in computation cost, it has 52.63% efficiency as compared with the baseline protocol.  相似文献

Proteins soluble in tris-acetate buffer (pH9.0) were fractionated by DEAE-cellulose, DEAE-Sephadex A-50 and Sephadex G-200 column chromatography. The purified proteins which contained 5–6% carbohydrate, had molecular weights of 125 900 and 22 390 amu. The high molecular weight fraction was homogeneous by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Proteins extracted in phosphate buffer (0.1M , pH7.6) when subjected to Sephadex G-200 gel chromatography were resolved into three fractions, all of which showed considerable trypsin inhibitor activity. Germination for 3 days reduced the trypsin inhibitor activity of the seed by about 30%.  相似文献

Live virtual machine migration is one of the most promising features of data center virtualization technology. Numerous strategies have been proposed for live migration of virtual machines on local area networks. These strategies work perfectly in their respective domains with negligible downtime. However, these techniques are not suitable to handle live migration over wide area networks and results in significant downtime. In this paper we have proposed a Machine Learning based Downtime Optimization (MLDO) approach which is an adaptive live migration approach based on predictive mechanisms that reduces downtime during live migration over wide area networks for standard workloads. The main contribution of our work is to employ machine learning methods to reduce downtime. Machine learning methods are also used to introduce automated learning into the predictive model and adaptive threshold levels. We compare our proposed approach with existing strategies in terms of downtime observed during the migration process and have observed improvements in downtime of up to 15 %.  相似文献

A three-phase symmetrical Cockcroft-Walton (CW) multistage voltage multiplier (VM) is proposed. It consists of one smoothing column and six oscillating columns. The oscillating columns are connected to three-phase power through center-tap transformers. The capacitors of the smoothing column are charged six times per cycle by six oscillating columns and are discharged six times through the load, unlike the conventional symmetrical VM in which they are charged and discharged twice per cycle. The three-phase symmetrical structure completely eliminates the first five harmonic components of load-generated voltage ripple. Theoretical analysis indicates that the proposed three-phase symmetrical CW-VM has one-third the voltage ripple and voltage drop of the conventional single-phase symmetrical CW-VM. Experimental and simulation results of the proposed three-phase symmetrical CW-VM as well as of the conventional single-phase symmetrical CW-VM are presented. A comparison shows that the three-phase symmetrical CW-VM has significantly less voltage ripple, half the voltage drop, and a fourfold increase in output power over the conventional single-phase symmetrical CW-VM.  相似文献
