Aerobic Oxidation of a Naphtene–Paraffin Concentrate in the Presence of Reduced Graphene Oxide

The aerobic oxidation of a naphthene–paraffin concentrate extracted from a mixture of Azerbaijan oils is studied. The reduced graphene oxide (powdered, pelletized) is used as the reaction catalyst. It is shown that reduced graphene oxide exhibits a fairly high catalytic activity in the liquid-phase oxidation of the naphthene–paraffin concentrate to petroleum acids. It is assumed that the catalytic activity of reduced graphene oxide can be attributed to the structural defects and specific electronic structure of this material. The liquid naphthene–paraffin concentrate with graphene as a catalyst is a dispersion with microparticles, the “hydrodynamic diameter” of which varies in the range of 1–3 µm and significantly changes after oxidation.     

Measurement of the Dead Time of an Optoelectronic Streak Camera with Different Linear Sweep Ranges

A method for measuring the dead time of an optoelectronic streak camera with different linear sweep ranges is described. The proposed method was used for the PN-1 streak camera. Photographs of the time-resolved emission of a DRSh350-2 mercury arc flash lamp for linear sweep ranges of 50 and 100 ns are presented. The dead times of the PN-1 streak camera for linear sweep ranges of 25, 50, and 100 ns were 5, 75, and 105 ns, respectively. The photographs of time-resolved second-harmonic spectra emitted by plasmas of copper and aluminum targets that were obtained in experiments on the interaction of nanosecond laser radiation with the matter using a streak camera are presented.     

Hydrocracking of Goudron in the Presence of a Suspended Natural Catalyst

The main results of hydrocracking of goudron under reduced pressure in the presence of a suspended catalyst have beenanalyzed. It was investigate the influence of temperature to hydrocracking process of goudron. It was determined that with increasing of temperature from 400 ℃ to 440 ℃ （0.5 MPa pressure） the yield of light oil products increased from 31.39% to 61% mass.     

A way to increase the efficiency of convective heat exchange in the channels of solar water collectors

Possible ways are shown of intensifying the heat exchange that increases the efficiency of solar water collectors. The efficiency factors for designing highly efficient solar collectors have been obtained.     

Nonstationary plane-parallel filtration in an inhomogeneous zonal seam

A nonstationary plane-parallel filtration of liquid in an inhomogeneous zonal seam of finite extent has been investigated. A closed elastic liquid flow was considered.
