Cancer continues to be a worldwide health problem. Certain macrocyclic molecules have become attractive therapeutic alternatives for this disease because of their efficacy and, frequently, their novel mechanisms of action. Herein, we report the synthesis of a series of 20‐, 21‐, and 22‐membered macrocycles containing triazole and bis(aryl ether) moieties. The compounds were prepared by a multicomponent approach from readily available commercial substrates. Notably, some of the compounds displayed interesting cytotoxicity against cancer (PC‐3) and breast (MCF‐7) cell lines, especially those bearing an aliphatic or a trifluoromethyl substituent on the N‐phenyl moiety (IC50<13 μm ). Additionally, some of the compounds were able to induce apoptosis relative to the solvent control; in particular, (Z)‐N‐cyclohexyl‐7‐oxo‐6‐[4‐(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]‐11H‐3,10‐dioxa‐6‐aza‐1(4,1)‐triazola‐4(1,3),9(1,4)‐dibenzenacyclotridecaphane‐5‐carboxamide ( 12 f ) was the most potent in this regard (22.7 % of apoptosis). 相似文献

Vivianite, a blue pigment employed in the past practically only in Northern and Central Europe, but with very limited use, was identified in an early sixteenth century painting, stylistically with Flemish features, from a church in Portugal. The identification of this iron phosphate mineral was made by SEM‐EDS based on the atomic ratio between phosphorus and iron in layers of blue paint (area analysis) and in particles of these same layers (spot analysis). This painting, about which there is no document to prove its authorship, becomes the first case, known in detail, of a sixteenth century painting containing vivianite. Moreover, this find and the presence of a chalk ground, also identified, strongly support the hypothesis of being a Flemish painting. 相似文献

We have performed a computational color analysis of images of paintings for six master painters: Titian, Rubens, El Greco, Velázquez, Rembrandt, and Vermeer. These painters show the evolution from the renaissance to the baroque style. Different first and second‐order statistical parameters have been obtained and analyzed in order to fix which of them can be common for the different artists and which of them can be representative of a certain period of time or the evolution of the art. The firsts include the orientation and semi‐axes ratio of the ellipses that define the gamut in the chromaticity diagram and the dependencies with the frequency of the power of the Fourier transforms. Most differences among artists can be found in the volume and area of the gamut, the number of discernible colors which is greater for Titian, El Greco and Rubens, compared to Velázquez, Rembrandt and Vermeer, the average value of L* and the number of dark pixels. 相似文献

A convenient technique for the determination of sodium dodecyl sulfate is titration with a metachromatic dye using in situ absorbance measurements. A suitable color reagent is ortho‐Toluidine Blue dye. Commercially available immersion optical probe Optrode® possesses a working wavelength of 640 nm, well matching the dye spectrum. The surfactant concentration is linearly related to the titrant volume at a certain solution absorbance. Optimal values of end point absorbance fall in the range from 0.7 to 2. The lower limit of quantitation is equal to 29 mg L?1. The highest concentration determined in this study was 52 g L?1. The required determination range may be adjusted by the appropriate selection of analyte volume and titrant concentration. The developed method is intended for routine process control in the surfactant industry. This method needs minimal manual efforts due to the lack of the dilution stage. Application of an automatic titrator looks to be a suitable solution for any industrial lab. 相似文献

Up to now, commercially available alumina ceramics were claimed to have strength between 400 and 550 MPa. However, our study shows strength ~ 2 times higher for commercially available alumina than commonly believed. The average and characteristic strength, measured on 31 pure alumina ceramic discs by ball on three balls (B3B) test, were 1205 ± 93 MPa and 1257 MPa, respectively, with a Weibull modulus of m = 11.8. Tested specimens were in form of discs with a diameter of 5 mm and thickness 0.5 mm. The grain size distribution of the alumina is bimodal with an average grain size of ~ 850 nm measured at the surface. The fracture reveals a mixed transgranular / intergranular failure mode. To avoid incorporation of additional flaws, the discs were tested as sintered. The characteristic flexural strength measured in B3B was recalculated according to Weibull theory for standard 4-point bending bars of size 3 × 4 × 45 mm as bend 856 MPa. The measured strength of nearly 900 MPa shows the potential of strength for high purity alumina ceramics. 相似文献

ABSTRACTPiezoelectric ceramic properties change with time. Detected aging effects for PZT ceramics are; the difference in the value of the dielectric constants diminishes, whereas dielectric losses and elastic stiffness increases. In this work, an optimisation technique based on adjusting a finite element model to reproduce the complex impedance curves of a resonant piezoceramic disk is analysed aiming to detect changes due to aging. This technique allows estimating all material parameters, both their real and imaginary parts. The optimisation uses the constitutive equations of the piezoelectric effect in the linear regime. The evolution of elastic, piezoelectric and dielectric constants is evaluated after 5 years of aging. To compute the ten complex parameters, the piezoelectric model is adjusted to minimise the difference between finite element simulations and the experimental data. Results presented here, show that the proposed technique is sensitive enough to detect changes in the individual parameters due to aging process. 相似文献
