The total ascorbic acid contents and the antioxidant capacity in green beans and in peas were measured during deep-frozen storage and compared to storage at 4 °C and 20 °C. In green beans only, the flavonols quercetin and kaempferol were measured. The results were correlated with sensory attributes which were evaluated at the same storage stages. The total ascorbic acid content is a good parameter for the storage time of both vegetables and showed, for peas, a positive correlation with the attribute “sweet taste” and a negative correlation with the attribute “musty” odour. The total ascorbic acid content of green beans was positively correlated with a “squeaky” texture and negatively with a “musty” taste. The flavonol content and the antioxidant capacity were more stable during the storage process and showed less correlation with sensory attributes. 相似文献

The crystal structure of the low-temperature form of K3PO4 has been determined for the first time using neutron diffraction (Rietveld method) and Raman spectroscopy: orthorhombic cell (sp. gr. We consider a distributed sensor network in which several observations are communicated to the fusion center using limited transmission rate. The observation must be separately encoded so that the target can be estimated with minimum average distortion. We address the problem from an information theoretic perspective and establish the inner and outer bound of the admissible rate-distortion region. We derive an upper bound on the sum-rate distortion function and its corresponding rate allocation schemes by exploiting the contra-polymatroid structure of the achievable rate region. The quadratic Gaussian case is analyzed in detail and the optimal rate allocation schemes in the achievable rate region are characterized. We show that our upper bound on the sum-rate distortion function is tight for the quadratic Gaussian CEO problem in the case of same signal-to-noise ratios at the sensors. 相似文献

Behavior of Magnesium‐Alloys for Automotive Applications under Mechanical and Environmental Loading: Influence of Passivating Films and Mechanisms of Local Breakdown To assure an efficient design of components under cyclic loading, all available data concerning fatigue have to be observed. Therefore the influences of manufacturing on the material condition, the mechanical loads and environmental effects have to be analysed. Magnesium‐alloys are of special interest for lightweight applications because of their excellent strength‐density ratio. The corrosion resistance of magnesium‐alloys depends on the same factors that are critical to other metals. The alloys have a good stability to atmospheric exposure and a good resistance to attack by alkali, chromic and hydrofluoric acids. However, because of the electrochemical activity of magnesium, the relative importance of some factors is greatly amplified. The nature and composition of passive films formed on magnesium‐alloys depend on the prevailing conditions, viz. alloy‐composition, passivation potential, pH, electrolyte composition and temperature. Passive films may be damaged by local breakdown. Because of this, magnesium‐alloys suffer a degradation of their properties when exposed to an aqueous environment. The main topic of the present investigations is the verification of mechanisms of the local breakdown of the protecting film. At least two mechanisms are possible for this localization: mechanical breakdown by slip steps and electrochemical breakdown (for e.g. by the effects of chloride ions). Corrosion and passivation of different high purity alloys have been studied in different solutions (neutral, alkaline with specific anions and cations) using electrochemical techniques. The diecasted alloys were tested as produced and machined. The results clarified that depending on alloy/material and surface condition/corrosion environment different mechanisms for electrochemical breakdown of the protecting films are possible. Resorbable bone substitution on the basis of calcium phosphates Besides hydroxyapatite (HAp), tricalcium phosphate is increasingly being used as bone substitution material. In literature there are contradictory claims of the TCP solubility. As a result of are contradictory claims of the TCP solubility. As a result of different manufacturing processes there are altered material properties, which are documented by different resorption behaviour especielly after implantation (particle separation, chemical solvatation). To clarify of such in vitro connections two methods for determining the solubility were investigated. Especially for this case, TCP samples prepared from different raw materials were synthesized. These samples were given different heat treatments and/or posttreatments with phosphoric acid. The materials were characterized above all by using X-ray powder diffraction method and scanning electron microscopy. Following investigations of the solubility lead to optimized testing parameters (solvent, concentration, ratio of solvent's quantity to sample surface, etc.) as well as qualified test parameters (lost of weight, ion concentration). When the test conditions were carefully selected, the in vitro solubillity was proved to be a very effective possibility of materials characterisation which is also very sensitive regarding chemical differences caused by synthesizing or morphological differences. 相似文献

We investigate some open problems on almost perfect nonlinear (APN) functions over a finite field of characteristic 2. We provide new characterizations of APN functions and of APN permutations by means of their component functions. We generalize some results of Nyberg (1994) and strengthen a conjecture on the upper bound of nonlinearity of APN functions. We also focus on the case of quadratic functions. High cycle fatigue of bolted connections Extensive tests regarding the influences on the fatigue of bolt‐nut‐connections of preloading with torsion, of preloading with yielding, of loading with superimposed bending and of the tested lot are processed. These influences are not yet known according to VDI 2230. New testing devices were designed for these tests, which allow a far less expensive operation and may easily be used for bolts of diameters up to M100 and testing frequencies up to 1000 Hz. The validity of fatigue resistance according to VDI 2230 is specified with respect to the test results. The determined influence of the tested lots is unexpectedly high. The manufacturing process of bolts should be improved to minimize this influence. 相似文献
