The present work reports on the thermo-optical study of germanate thin films doped with Au and Ag nanoparticles. Transmission Electron Microscopy images, UV-visible absorption and Micro-Raman scattering evidenced the presence of nanoparticles and the formation of collective excitations, the so called surface plasmons. Moreover, the effects of the metallic nanoparticles in the thermal properties of the films were observed. The thermal lens technique was proposed to evaluate the Thermal Diffusivity (D) of the samples. It furnishes superficial spatial resolution of about 100 μm, so it is appropriate to study inhomogeneous samples. It is shown that D may change up to a factor 3 over the surface of a film because of the differences in the nanoparticles concentration distribution.  相似文献

The aim of this work was to investigate cellulose acetate/poly(epichlorohydrin) (CA/PEPi) blends and cellulose acetate/poly(epichlorohydrin)/organically modified montmorillonite clay nanocomposites (CA/PEPi/MMTO) prepared by melt processing in a twin-screw extruder. The combination of an elastomer and clay in the cellulose acetate matrix was an attempt made to reach a balance between toughness and strength properties. The blend and nanocomposite structure, morphology and thermal properties were investigated by small angle X-ray scattering, transmission electron microscopy and dynamical mechanical analysis. The results showed immiscibility of the polymer components for all the CA/PEPi blend composition range investigated. In the case of the nanocomposites, the results indicated a significant polymer intercalation in the clay gallery as well as the exfoliation of the silicate layers. Moreover, the organoclay was present in the CA phase, but some of the organoclay migrated to the CA/PEPi interface and tended to surround the PEPi phase. The addition of PEPi elastomer to cellulose acetate showed a significant increase in the blend impact resistance. However the combination of PEPi and MMTO did not in fact produce a good stiffness versus toughness balance.  相似文献

This study presents the preparation, characterization and application of copper octa(3-aminopropyl)octasilsesquioxane following its subsequent reaction with azide ions (ASCA). The precursor (AC) and the novel compound (ASCA) were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectra (FTIR), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR), scanning electronic microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Thermogravimetric analyses and voltammetric technique. The cyclic voltammogram of the modified graphite paste electrode with ASCA (GPE-ASCA), showed one redox couple with formal potential () = 0.30 V and an irreversible process at 1.1 V (vs. Ag/AgCl; NaCl 1.0 M; v=20 mV s−1). The material is very sensitive to nitrite concentrations. The modified graphite paste electrode (GPE-ASCA) gives a linear range from 1.0 × 10−4 to 4.0 × 10−3 mol L−1 for the determination of nitrite, with a detection limit of 2.1 × 10−4 mol L−1 and the amperometric sensitivity of 8.04 mA/mol L−1.  相似文献

An IDS framework inspired in the Human Immune System to be applied in the wireless sensor network context is proposed. It uses an improved decentralized and customized version of the Dendritic Cell Algorithm, which allows nodes to monitor their neighborhood and collaborate to identify an intruder. The work was implemented and tested both in simulation and in real sensor platform scenarios, comparing them to each other and was also compared to a Negative Selection Theory implementation in order to demonstrate its efficiency in detecting a denial-of-sleep attack and in energy consumption. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of four isoenergetic diets of differing fat composition on blood lipid profile and adiposity in young rats. Diets containing different lipid sources—partially hydrogenated vegetable oil (PHVO), palm oil (PO), canola oil (CO), and soy oil (SO)—were fed to lactating rats during the 21 days of lactation, and then fed to young males following weaning until the 45th, day of life. In vivo lipogenesis rate (LR), lipid content (LC), relative level of FA, and the activity of lipoprotein lipase (LPL) enzyme were measured in epididymal adipose tissue (EPI). Fasting blood lipoproteins and LC in the carcass were also appraised. Body weight of PO and PHVO groups was significantly higher than CO and SO groups from day 14 of lactation to day 45, despite the lower food intake in the PHVO group. PO and PHVO groups presented higher LR and LC in EPI than SO and CO groups. Carcass fat content was significantly higher in PHVO and PO groups than in CO and SO groups. The LPL activity in EPI was unaffected by dietary lipids. PHVO group had increased total cholesterol and TAG concentrations in comparison with the PO group, and significantly lower HDL level compared with the other groups. These results show that the kind of FA in the dietary lipid offered early in life can affect lipid metabolism and adiposity.  相似文献

The influence of the deposition temperature on the grain size of polycrystalline lithium fluoride (LiF) thin films is studied using a mathematical morphology method. On atomic force microscopy images of the LiF surface, the grain sizes and shapes are determined by applying the watershed technique, together with a shape factor algorithm. Also, the domain size of the film structure, determined by an X-ray diffraction data analysis, is compared and correlated with the mean grain size as a function of the deposition temperature. In both cases a linear increase with temperature and a very good agreement among the two structural parameters (grain and domain size) was found.  相似文献

The reactivity of Pt supported on a stable dealuminated Y zeolite (Pt/DeY) for the Selective Catalytic Reduction of NO by hydrocarbons (HC-SCR) has been investigated with a monolith sample. The results show that the Pt/DeY catalyst has substantial activity for this reaction at temperatures between 200 and 300°C. Furthermore, the presence of water and sulfur dioxide, at levels similar to the ones expected in vehicle exhaust gas, does not significantly affect the performance of the catalyst, which makes it a promising candidate for further commercial development. In the same temperature range, oxygen promotes the rate of the NO reduction by assisting in the activation of the hydrocarbon. NO2 is also formed under the conditions studied as a result of the oxidation of NO. In the presence of the hydrocarbon however, it is preferentially reacting with the hydrocarbon, and reduces primarily back to NO. High selectivities were observed toward the formation of N2O, which is a primary product of the hydrocarbon-SCR reaction.  相似文献

A brief overview is given of the temporal logics used in concurrent program verification and in database and systems specification. The properties of the underlying modal frame structures are analysed. The relative advantages of the linear and branching approaches are discussed. The state versus path formulas controversy is revisited. A meta-linear operatorL is proposed and compared with the in all trajectories operator considered in the language CTL*. The usefulness of the new operator within the context of a layered methodology for database and information systems specification and verification is illustrated. The operator is seen as a frame change operator and other interesting operators of this class are referred. Finitary and infinitary axiomatisations are given for the operatorL. The proof of the completeness of the infinitary axiomatisation is briefly outlined. This proof requires an appropriate extension of the usual Henkin methods.  相似文献

It is well known that the absorption coefficient of diamond in the two-phonon region is constant, for example at 2000 cm− 1, the absorption coefficient is 12.3 cm− 1. This means that the infrared absorbance in the two-phonon region is proportional to the thickness of the samples, which is generally used as standard to normalize the infrared absorption spectra of diamond samples according to their thickness. This is true for natural and HPHT synthetic single crystal diamond. However for polycrystalline or nanocrystalline CVD diamond films, we found that the situation may be different. For high quality thick CVD diamond films of thickness > 150 μm, the infrared absorbance in the two-phonon region is proportional to its thickness. While CVD diamond films of equal thickness but of different quality show variable absorbance in the two-phonon absorption region in terms of thickness. Our investigation on this observation primarily indicates that the grain size of CVD diamond films has influence on the two-phonon absorption. In this work, we present this new result and discuss the mechanism of this phenomenon in the light of the growth mechanism of CVD diamond.  相似文献
