This study explores whether an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation project mediates the relationship between dynamic pre-adoption capabilities and ERP-enabled business improvements. The results from our field survey of large ERP adopters in Austria suggest that the effects of the two out of three selected dynamic capabilities are dependent on the properties of the underlying organizational transformation project. While external information acquisition and IT governance capabilities are fully mediated by the performance of the ERP implementation project, decision making only directly impacts business capabilities. These results further our understanding about the role of the implementation project for ERP value creation and the different natures of capability relationships. We call for more research on co-presence conditions related to dynamic capabilities and IT transformation project performance.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a low-cost hand-held flexible display system which uses a projector to project display content onto an ordinary white paper that can be twisted freely. The ultimate goal is to develop an interactive viewing tool for displaying content on flexible surface that can be deformed by the user, i.e., when the user twists the paper, the display content on the paper deforms simultaneously. This system has a lot of potential in the entertainment and education industries. A pair of cameras is employed to track the pattern printed on the back of paper. The cameras and the projector are calibrated off-line via a simple and convenient method. A real-time algorithm is proposed to recover the 3D surface of the paper. The display content is then pre-warped according to the recovered surface and projected onto the front of the paper. Two demonstrative applications are elaborated to illustrate the potential of the proposed system. Our system is easy to set up and runs in real-time. Experimental results show that the flexible display is created with satisfactory accuracy and robustness.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of red-fleshed dragon fruit (Hylocereus polyrhizus) juice concentration on betacyanin degradation kinetics and sensory acceptance. The samples stored at 4°C were comparatively stable compared to 25°C in terms of betacyanin retention, and yeast and mold growth. The loss of betacyanin in red-fleshed dragon fruit juice and concentrate at 25, 37, and 45°C were of first-order reaction. The drink reconstituted from red-fleshed dragon fruit concentrate showed better acceptability in terms of sweetness, flavor, and overall acceptability. The current study demonstrated improved betacyanin retention and sensory acceptance of red-fleshed dragon fruit juice via juice concentration.  相似文献

Thermoelastic stress analysis (TSA) has been around for the past 30 years, but to date, it is still a very much underrated and under‐utilised experimental technique. Although there are devoted groups of practitioners in some industries, this technology is not well known within the aerospace sector. In contrast, the Aerospace Division of the Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO) in Australia has been in the forefront of this technology for some time, achieving many pioneering feats. This paper gives a brief introduction to the development of this technology from a historical perspective, then focuses on a number of innovations that have stemmed from DSTO, including the development and application of the world's first focal plane array based TSA system and, more recently, the development of small and robust microbolometer based systems. For the latter, it is shown that despite nominally poorer temperature sensitivities, they make ideal TSA devices and can in some cases outperform their much more expensive photon detector counterparts. Because of this, together with the enormous practical advantages of microbolometers, the future of TSA is shown to be brighter than ever. Specifically, it is argued that such TSA systems can play a major role in the pervasive and persistent surveillance of full scale fatigue testing of aircraft structures. By detecting both design and developing faults early, it can effectively relieve cost and schedule penalties that are often associated with unanticipated failures. To realise this capability, integration of this technology with autonomous systems will be important, and some preliminary but promising results from a technology demonstrator program are presented.  相似文献

Novice drivers and older drivers are found to have the highest crash risk among all drivers and this has motivated many research studies into various aspects of novice and older drivers. Although age-related declines were expected, studies did not find older drivers to respond slower to hazards. This study examined the hazard detection and response latencies of 14 young novice drivers, 14 young experienced drivers, and 12 older experienced drivers, to abrupt-onset hazards. Older drivers were found to take longer times before fixating on an abrupt-onset road hazard but appeared to have insignificantly faster reaction times after the initial fixation. Hence, the overall response latency did not suggest any age effects. Older drivers also scanned the roadway less as compared to their younger counterparts. No effects of experience were found. The findings provided insight on age-related declines in hazard detection whose effects have been masked by other components of hazard response.  相似文献
