Molecular dynamics simulations are used to investigate the microstructures of Cu-Ni nanoparticles with different concentrations of oversized atoms added to them. A many body second moment tight binding approximation potential is adopted to model the interatomic interactions. The Honeycutt-Anderson (HA) pair analysis technique is adopted to analyse in detail the transformation between local structures at different temperatures. From the simulation results, at temperatures higher than the melting point, the nanoparticles are in a liquid state and an icosahedral local structure is most frequently found inside the nanoparticles. At temperatures beneath the melting point, the fraction of FCC local structure increases with decreasing concentrations of the larger size atoms, whereas a larger fraction of amorphous structure still remains in the solid state for higher concentrations of oversized atoms. This is because the effects of distortion and misfit are more significant for a nanoparticle having a higher concentration of oversized atoms.  相似文献

Twenty kimchi products sold in supermarkets and 17 products sold in retail markets were purchased from southern Taiwan and tested to determine the occurrence of histamine and histamine-forming bacteria. The levels of pH and salt content in all samples ranged from 3.6 to 5.1 and 1.5–16.0%, respectively. The supermarket kimchi products had 1–7.2 log CFU/g of APC and <3–600 MPN/g of total coliform (TC), and the retail market kimchi products had 4–8.03 log CFU/g of APC and <3 to >2400 MPN/g of TC. Only one of the retail market kimchi products contained 20 MPN/g Escherichia coli. Although, supermarket kimchi products had an average histamine content of 49.8 mg/100 g, 15 of them had histamine content greater than 5 mg/100 g, the allowable level set by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for scombroid fish and/or product. In contrast, only eight retail market kimchi products had histamine levels greater than 5 mg/100 g. Among the supermarket samples, three contained histamine at 50.2, 273 and 535 mg/100 g, that are more than the 50 mg/100 g hazard action level. Four histamine-producing bacteria capable of producing 13.6–43.1 ppm of histamine in MRS broth supplemented with 0.25% l-histidine were identified as Lactobacillus para. paracasei (one strain), Lb. brevis (one strain), and Brevibacillus brevis (two strains). To our knowledge, this is the first report to demonstrate the occurrence of high contents of histamine and histamine-forming bacteria in kimchi products.  相似文献

The occurrence of histamine, histamine-forming bacteria and yeast were tested in 37 mustard pickle products sold in both retail markets and supermarkets in southern Taiwan. Aerobic plate count (APC), total coliform, and Escherichia coli were also tested for microbiological quality. Salt content, pH value, titratable acidity and sulphite content were determined for quality of mustard pickle products. Only one retail market sample and one supermarket sample had 8.9 and 7.4 mg histamine per 100 g products, although the average content for each of the nine biogenic amines was less than 2 mg/100 g. Ten histamine-forming bacterial strains and 6 histamine-producing yeast strains capable of producing 8.7 to 1260 ppm of histamine in trypticase soy broth (TSB) supplemented with 1% l-histidine (TSBH) were identified as Staphylococcus capitis (four strains),Staphylococcus pasteuri (two strains), Enterobacter cloacae (four strains), Candida glabrata (two strains) and Candida rugosa (four strains). S. capitis, which was previously reported to be halotolerant, was a potent histamine-former, capable of producing more than 1000 ppm of histamine in TSBH in the presence of 0.5–10% NaCl. The numbers of the aerobic plate count (APC) in all samples were below the Taiwanese regulatory level of 5 log CFU/g. None of the samples contained total coliform or E. coli. The values of pH, salt content, titratable acidity and sulphite content in all samples ranged from 3.8% to 5.0%, 2.0% to 10.0%, 0.21% to 1.18% and <2.0–1876 ppm, respectively.  相似文献

The accuracy of mathematical modelling is strongly influenced by the boundary conditions assumed. A shape rolling mill was instrumented to provide on-line temperature measurements during hot rolling of steels. An inverse heat conduction technique was used to convert the measurement data to surface heat fluxes and heat transfer coefficients. The heat transfer coefficient or heat flux could then be used as the necessary boundary condition for the computation of temperature field in the entire roll and workpiece by means of conventional heat transfer analysis. The heat transfer phenomena involved and the influence of the major operating parameters on the heat transfer results have also been discussed. Finally, the paper has shown that the numerical evaluation procedure adopted has at least the same influence on the results as the accuracy of temperature sensors and the properness of experiment design.  相似文献

This study investigates impacts of oxygen flow during the deposition of amorphous indium–gallium–zinc oxide (a-IGZO) channel layer with a radio frequency (r.f.) magnetron sputter on the electrical characteristics of the fabricated thin-film transistors (TFTs). Results indicate that as the film was deposited with a higher oxygen flow, the transfer curves are positively shifted while the field-effect mobility (μFE) is significantly decreased. To get more insight about the effects, channel resistance (RCH) and the parasitic source-to-drain resistance (RSD) of the fabricated devices are extracted using the total resistance method. The extracted a-IGZO channel resistance per unit length (rch) and RSD are found to increase while the extracted effective mobility (μE) is decreased with increasing oxygen flow during sputtering. These observations are postulated to be related the decrease in the In/(In + Ga + Zn) ratio and the increase in the Zn/(In + Ga + Zn) ratio of the a-IGZO films with increasing the oxygen flow rate which lead to higher resistivity and lower carrier concentration. The extracted RSD can be comparable with RCH for the devices prepared with high oxygen flow, resulting in the roll-off of μFE as the channel length is shorter than 20 μm.  相似文献

Seven soybean and 19 black bean douchi products sold in the supermarkets in southern Taiwan were purchased and tested to determine the occurrence of histamine and histamine-forming bacteria. The levels of pH, salt content, water content, yeast and mold, and aerobic plate count (APC) in all samples ranged from 4.7 to 5.9, 4.4% to 14.0%, 6.8% to 51.6%, 3.0 to 5.1 log CFU/g, and 5.2 to 9.2 log CFU/g, respectively. None of these samples contained total coliform and Escherichia coli. Although black bean douchi products had an average histamine content of 29.0 mg/100 g, 18 of them had histamine contents greater than 5 mg/100 g, the allowable level set by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for scombroid fish and/or products. In contrast, only four soybean douchi products had histamine levels greater than 5 mg/100 g. Among the black bean samples, four contained histamine at 56.3, 62.1, 80.2 and 80.8 mg/100 g, that are above the 50 mg/100 g hazard action level. Eight histamine-forming bacterial strains, capable of producing 11.7–601 ppm of histamine in trypticase soy broth (TSB) supplemented with 1% l-histidine (TSBH), were identified as Bacillus subtilis (four strains) Staphylococcus pasteuri (one strain) and Staphylocuccus capitis (three strains) by 16S rDNA sequencing with PCR amplification. S. capitis, which was previously reported to be halotolerant, was a potent histamine-former capable of producing more than 500 ppm of histamine in TSBH in the presence of 0.5–10% NaCl.  相似文献

This study numerically investigates airflow characteristics and particulate matter (PM) transport in multi-room buildings for different natural ventilation patterns with the same air change rate. Four typical natural ventilation patterns (full-open, pass-through, right short-circuit and left short-circuit), representing the ratios of the outlet-to-inlet opening size ranging from 1.67 to 0.17, are considered to study multi-room airflow characteristics. A measured indoor PM10 profile in Taipei Metropolis is input into the above four ventilation patterns as the initial condition of the PM size distribution. The time variation of indoor PM10/PM2.5/PM1 concentrations in each room for various ventilation patterns is next investigated. The effect of ventilation pattern on particle removal mechanism is emphasized. The results show that although the air change rate of the building is the same, airflow characteristics and PM transport behaviors are quite different for various ventilation patterns. The removal efficiencies of PM10 for the four ventilation patterns are all found to be much better than those of PM2.5 and PM1. Particle escape is the major mechanism to remove PM for rooms with double-sided ventilation, whereas particle deposition is important for single-sided ventilation rooms.  相似文献

The potential pathogenicity of Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates from food animals, retail meat products, and food processing environments was evaluated by determining their antibiotic resistance profiles and invasiveness into human intestinal Caco-2 cell. In general, the genomically diversified isolates of P. aeruginosa were resistant to beta-lactams (ampicillin, amoxicillin-clavulanic acid, cefoxitin, ceftiofur, and cephalothin), chloramphenicol, tetracycline, kanamycin, nalidixic acid, and sulfamethoxazole-trimethoprim. Acquisition of any other antibiotic resistance genes, such as class 1 integrons and other beta-lactamase genes, was not found in the tested isolates. The expression of OprM membrane protein, which is associated with a multidrug efflux system, played a major role in their antibiotic resistance. Single mutation in the GyrA to confer resistance to nalidixic acids was also found in the tested isolates, indicating that these factors could synergistically affect the resistance of the P. aeruginosa isolates. The number of bacteria invading into the Caco-2 cells was 2.5 log(10) CFU/ml on average. Therefore, the public health concern of P. aeruginosa could be relevant since its occurrence in food animals could cross contaminate the retail meat products during food handling and processing.  相似文献

Multidrug-resistant enteric bacteria were isolated from turkey, cattle, and chicken farms and retail meat products in Oklahoma. Among the isolated species, multidrug-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae was prevalently isolated from most of the collected samples. Therefore, a total of 132 isolates of K. pneumoniae were characterized to understand their potential roles in the dissemination of antibiotic-resistance genes in the food chains. Multidrug-resistant K. pneumoniae was most frequently recovered from a turkey farm and ground turkey products among the tested samples. All isolates were resistant to ampicillin, tetracycline, streptomycin, gentamycin, and kanamycin. Class 1 integrons located in plasmids were identified as a common carrier of the aadA1 gene, encoding resistance to streptomycin and spectinomycin. Production of beta-lactamase in the K. pneumoniae isolates played a major role in the resistance to beta-lactam agents. Most isolates (96%) possessed bla(SHV1). Five strains were able to express both SHV-11 (pI 6.2) and TEM-1 (pI 5.2) beta-lactamase. Transfer of these antibiotic-resistance genes to Escherichia coli was demonstrated by transconjugation. The bacterial genomic DNA restriction patterns by pulsed-field gel electrophoresis showed that the same clones of multidrug-resistant K. pneumoniae remained in feathers, feed, feces, and drinking water in turkey environments, indicating the possible dissemination of antibiotic-resistance genes in the ecosystem and cross-contamination of antibiotic-resistant bacteria during processing and distribution of products.  相似文献
