Highly conductive poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) films as stand‐alone electrodes for organic solar cells have been optimized using a solvent post‐treatment method. The treated PEDOT:PSS films show enhanced conductivities up to 1418 S cm?1, accompanied by structural and chemical changes. The effect of the solvent treatment on PEDOT:PSS has been investigated in detail and is shown to cause a reduction of insulating PSS in the conductive polymer layer. Using these optimized electrodes, ITO‐free, small molecule organic solar cells with a zinc phthalocyanine (ZnPc):fullerene C60 bulk heterojunction have been produced on glass and PET substrates. The system was further improved by pre‐heating the PEDOT:PSS electrodes, which enhanced the power conversion efficiency to the values obtained for solar cells on ITO electrodes. The results show that optimized PEDOT:PSS with solvent and thermal post‐treatment can be a very promising electrode material for highly efficient flexible ITO‐free organic solar cells. 相似文献

As the number of transistors and metal layers increases, traditional fault isolation techniques are less successful in exactly isolating the failing net or transistor to allow physical failure analysis. One tool to minimize the gap between global fault isolation – by means of emission microscopy or laser based techniques (TIVA, OBIRCH) – and physical root cause analysis is Time Resolved Emission (TRE). This paper describes the design and implementation of a transmit/receive switch for 2.4 GHz ISM band applications. The T/R switch is implemented in a 0.35 m bulk CMOS process and it occupies 150 m · 170 m of die area. A parasitic MOSFET model including bulk resistance is used to optimize the physical dimensions of the transistors with regard to insertion loss and isolation. The measured insertion loss is 1.3 dB without port matching. Simulations using measured s-parameters indicate that an insertion loss of 0.8 dB can be obtained with a conjugate match. The measured isolation is 42 dB and the maximum transmit power is 16 dBm. 相似文献

Skin lesion classification based on in vitro Raman spectroscopy is approached using a nonlinear neural network classifier. The classification framework is probabilistic and highly automated. The framework includes a feature extraction for Raman spectra and a fully adaptive and robust feedforward neural network classifier. Moreover, classification rules learned by the neural network may be extracted and evaluated for reproducibility, making it possible to explain the class assignment. The classification performance for the present data set, involving 222 cases and five lesion types, was 80.5%+/-5.3% correct classification of malignant melanoma, which is similar to that of trained dermatologists based on visual inspection. The skin cancer basal cell carcinoma has a classification rate of 95.8%+/-2.7%, which is excellent. The overall classification rate of skin lesions is 94.8%+/-3.0%. Spectral regions, which are important for network classification, are demonstrated to reproduce. Small distinctive bands in the spectrum, corresponding to specific lipids and proteins, are shown to hold the discriminating information which the network uses to diagnose skin lesions. 相似文献

Radio link adaptivity will be a key feature of the air interfaces of future mobile communication systems. This adaptivity includes techniques such as fast scheduling, hybrid ARQ, transmit diversity and adaptive modulation and coding. The performance of adaptive modulation generally suffers from the power inefficiencies of multilevel modulation formats. This is due to the variations in bit reliabilities caused by the bit-mapping onto the signal constellation. This article presents a concept, called constellation rearrangement (CoRe), which improves the multilevel modulation power efficiency by the joint application with transmit diversity schemes. It is shown by a theoretical analysis for 16-QAM that the presented concept can equalize variations in bit reliabilities by employing different mapping rules for the transmission over the diversity branches. This significantly improves the receiver block error rate performance and, hence, the performance of the adaptive modulation and coding. This is proven by simulations at link-level in a multicarrier CDMA system for AWGN and fading channels employing turbo coded transmission. 相似文献

The authors have designed and demonstrated a pulse-driven Josephson digital/analog converter. When used as a programmable voltage standard, this device can synthesize metrologically accurate ac waveforms as well as stable dc voltages. We show through simulations that Josephson quantization produces a nearly ideal quantization noise spectrum when a junction is driven with a typical waveform produced by a digital code generator. This technique has been demonstrated in preliminary experiments with arrays of 1000 junctions clocked at frequencies up to 6 Gb/s, where sine waves of a few millivolts in amplitude were synthesized at frequencies up to 1 MHz 相似文献

Among test techniques for analog circuits, DC test is one of the simplest method for BIST application since easy to integrate test pattern generator and response analyzer are conceivable. Precisely, this paper presents such an investigation for a CMOS operational amplifier that is latter extended to active analog filters. Since the computation of fault coverage is still a controversy question for analog cells, we develop first an evaluation technique for optimizing the tolerance band of the measurements to test. Then, using some DFT solutions we derive single DC pattern and discuss the minimal number of points to test for the detection of defects. A response analyzer is integrated with a Built-in Voltage Sensor (BIVS) and provides directly a logic pass/fail test result. Finally, the extra circuitry introduced by this BIST technique for analog modules does not exceed 5% of the total silicon area of the circuit under test and detects most of the faults. 相似文献

A detailed knowledge of the light distribution characteristics through advanced window systems is required to improve the visual comfort of the building's occupants while controlling the propagation of daylight in rooms and the solar gains. An innovative bidirectional goniophotometer has recently been set up for this purpose, using digital image capture and the projection of the emerging light on a diffusing screen. It therefore provides a continuous investigation of the bidirectional transmission figures in a time-efficient way. This instrument was converted into a double-purpose device, allowing both transmission and reflection measurements, which induced several strong constraints due to the conflict of incident and emerging light flux in reflection mode: on one hand the incident beam had to be restricted to the sample area only; on the other hand, as the screen obstructed the incoming light flux in some positions, a special opening in the latter was required. The practical answer to these constraints, detailed in this paper, proved to be reliable, appropriate and efficient. 相似文献
