Browning is a serious problem in relation to white wine quality and mostly affects the sensory attributes, whereas its impact on the dietary value of wines has never been investigated. Browning, however, is well known to be associated with polyphenol oxidation, and therefore it may be accompanied by changes in the antioxidant capacity. On the basis of this consideration, experimental white wines vinified and stored under identical conditions were subjected to accelerated browning, and efforts were made to distinguish compositional parameters that might be related to the extent of browning development. Further, the consequences of browning on the reducing power and antiradical activity were assessed. It was shown that none of the parameters examined (titratable acidity, pH, total SO2, total polyphenols and total flavanols) play an important role in browning onset, but SO2 appeared to exert a statistically significant influence (r2=0.6394, P<0.05) on the percentage change in the antiradical activity. Evidence also suggested that browning development might be prominently associated with decreases in both antiradical activity (r2=0.7891, P<0.01) and reducing power (r2=0.6925, P<0.05).  相似文献

对我国北方阔叶木速生材三倍体毛白杨进行深度脱木素的改良硫酸盐法蒸煮(EMCC),得到EMCC纸浆.采用酶-弱酸解两段法从原料和EMCC纸浆中分离出原料木素和纸浆残余木素;采用酸析法从EMCC蒸煮黑液中分离出黑液溶出木素样品,再经弱酸水解得到纯的黑液溶出木素.通过凝胶渗透色谱(GPG)分析,对所得木素样品分别进行了相对分子质量的检测,分析了EMCC蒸煮过程中木素相对分子质量的变化.通过磷谱核磁共振31P-NMR技术得出木素结构谱图,对原料木素、纸浆残余木素和黑液溶出木素结构中各官能团进行定量分析对比,研究木素结构在EMCC蒸煮过程中的变化规律.  相似文献

Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most frequent arrhythmia managed in clinical practice, and it is linked to an increased risk of death, stroke, and peripheral embolism. The Global Burden of Disease shows that the estimated prevalence of AF is up to 33.5 million patients. So far, successful therapeutic techniques have been implemented, with a high health-care cost burden. As a result, identifying modifiable risk factors for AF and suitable preventive measures may play a significant role in enhancing community health and lowering health-care system expenditures. Several mechanisms, including electrical and structural remodeling of atrial tissue, have been proposed to contribute to the development of AF. This review article discusses the predisposing factors in AF including the different pathogenic mechanisms, sedentary lifestyle, and dietary habits, as well as the potential genetic burden.  相似文献

Platelets are at the forefront of human health and disease following the advances in their research presented in past decades. Platelet activation, their most crucial function, although beneficial in the case of vascular injury, may represent the initial step for thrombotic complications characterizing various pathologic states, primarily atherosclerotic cardiovascular diseases. In this review, we initially summarize the structural and functional characteristics of platelets. Next, we focus on the process of platelet activation and its associated factors, indicating the potential molecular mechanisms involving inflammation, endothelial dysfunction, and miRs. Finally, an overview of the available antiplatelet agents is being portrayed, together with agents possessing off-set platelet-inhibitory actions, while an extensive presentation of drugs under investigation is being given.  相似文献

An autonomous power system that exploits solar energy for the production of hydrogen through water electrolysis is fully assessed in terms of system implementation and optimal operating strategy. A 10 kWp photovoltaic array supplies energy to a PEM electrolyzer rated at 6.9 kWp. In order to maintain a smooth operation regardless of the inherent weather fluctuations, a 1000 Ah/24 V lead–acid accumulator stores energy excess and provides it when needed. The monitoring and control of the system is implemented through a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system (SCADA), while the interactions between electrical and chemical subsystems are addressed by a complete automation infrastructure. The mathematical models of each subsystem are validated based on real operational data and a model-based power management strategy is proposed and assessed through a parameter sensitivity analysis. Further on, an off-line optimization framework is evaluated regarding the optimal operation of the system in two diverse, but representative time periods. The optimal parameters are identified and their effect on hydrogen production and accumulator utilization is reported.  相似文献

In several circumstances the collected data are counts observed in different time points, while the counts at each time point are correlated. Current models are able to account for serial correlation but usually fail to account for cross‐correlation. Motivated by the lack of appropriate tools for handling such type of data, we define a multivariate integer‐valued autoregressive process of order 1 (MINAR(1)) and examine its basic statistical properties. Apart from the general specification of the MINAR(1) process, we also study two specific parametric cases that arise under the assumptions of a multivariate Poisson and a multivariate negative binomial distribution for the innovations of the process. To overcome the computational difficulties of the maximum likelihood approach we suggest the method of composite likelihood. The performance of the two methods of estimation, that is, maximum likelihood and composite likelihood, is compared through a small simulation experiment. Extensions of the time‐invariant model to a regression model are also discussed. The proposed model is applied to a trivariate data series related to daily traffic accidents in three areas in the Netherlands.  相似文献
