Abstract

Effect of surfactant and extra-light crude oil addition on the rheological behaviors of an Algeria crude oil in order to improving its flowability were studied at low temperature. These rheological properties include steady flow behavior, yield stress and viscoelastic behavior. An AR-2000 rheometer was employed in all of the rheological examination tests. Results show that Toluene and extra-light crude oil addition causes a strong reduction in viscosity, the yield stress and can effectively increase of crude oil transport capacity. The toluene addition gets its best flow capacity and lowest viscosity at 6%. The extra-light crude oil addition obtains its best flow capacity and lowest viscosity at 50%. The viscoelasticity character of the crude oil has indicate a significantly influence by the addition of Toluene and extra-light crude oil.  相似文献

Abstract

The rheological behavior and its variation with temperature and refined product concentration of a crude oil sample coming from a quagmire of the separation station of Tin Fouye Tabankort oilfield/southern Algeria were investigated experimentally. The experiments were carried out at various temperatures (20, 30 and 50?°C) over the shear rate range of 0 to 700?s?1 by using a controlled stress rheometer (AR 2000, TA Instrument). The results showed that the crude oil exhibit non-Newtonian of shear thinning behavior at low shear rate and Newtonian behavior at high shear rate and was adequately described by Casson and Herschel–Bulkley models. The rheological measurements through the steady flow test and viscoelastic behavior, including the storage modulus (G′), loss modulus (G″), and complex modulus (G*), has indicated that the rheological properties of the crude oil were greatly influenced by the temperature and the additive concentration.  相似文献

Solvent‐free acetylation of microfibrillated cellulose was carried out in order to improve their hydrophobicity. All the samples were filled with low‐density polyethylene. The morphology, mechanical properties, and water uptake of the ensuing composites were investigated. An excessive reaction time leads to degradation of the fibers, which was observed by scanning electron microscopy and fiber quality analysis. The acetylation treatment did not improve the mechanical properties of composites but extensively decreased the moisture absorption of the composites. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Appl. Polym. Local search algorithms based on the Configuration Checking (CC) strategy have been shown to be efficient in solving satisfiable random k-SAT instances. The purpose of the CC strategy is to avoid the cycling problem, which corresponds to revisiting already flipped variables too soon. It is done by considering the neighborhood of the formula variables. In this paper, we propose to improve the CC strategy on the basis of an empirical study of a powerful algorithm using this strategy. The first improvement introduces a new and simple criterion, which refines the selection of the variables to flip for the 3-SAT instances. The second improvement is achieved by using the powerful local search algorithm Novelty with the adaptive noise setting. This algorithm enhances the efficiency of the intensification and diversification phases when solving k-SAT instances with k ≥ 4. We name the resulting local search algorithm Ncca+ and show its effectiveness when treating satisfiable random k-SAT instances issued from the SAT Challenge 2012. Ncca+ won the bronze medal of the random SAT track of the SAT Competition 2013.  相似文献

This paper addresses the problem of minimising the number of moves to unload a set of boxes off a gravity conveyor by a forklift. If the input data are known in advance, the problem is efficiently solvable with a dynamic programming approach. However, this method is rarely applicable in practice for two reasons. First, the problem generally occurs in a real-time environment where the input data are revealed over time. Second, computing devices are in most cases not available in forklifts or gravity conveyors for decision-making. Online approaches that can easily be applied by human operators are therefore sought in practice. With this in mind, we first propose some intuitive approaches and analyse their performance through an extensive experimental study. The results show that these approaches are quite inefficient as they average between 14.7 and 59.3% above the optimum. A less intuitive but still simple approach is then designed that consistently produces good results with an average gap of 6.1% to the optimum.  相似文献

An experimental study was conducted to investigate the rheological behavior of Algerian crude oil stemming from station of separation (quagmire) of the Tin Fouye Tabankort sector (southern Algeria). The rheological measurements at different temperatures (20°C, 30°C and 50°C) were performed employing AR 2000 rheometer of TA-Instruments. Several parameters such as shear rate, the temperature and the presence of crude oil from another quagmire on the rheological properties have been studied. The experimental results show that the studied crude oil displays non-Newtonian shear thinning behavior at low values of shear rate and a Newtonian behavior at high values of shear rate, which can be best presented by the Casson model. The rheological examination tests (flow and dynamic mode (oscillation)) have shown that the rheological properties of the crude oil were significantly influenced by the temperature and the crude oil addition.  相似文献

The increasing attention to the environmental and health impacts of industry activities by governmental regulation and by the growing awareness in society is forcing manufacturers to reduce the use of lubricants.In the machining of aeronautical materials, classified as difficult-to-machine materials, the consumption of cooling lubricant during the machining operations is very important. The associated costs of coolant acquisition, use, disposal and washing the machined components are significant, up to four times the cost of consumable tooling used in the cutting operations. To reduce the costs of production and to make the processes environmentally safe, the goal of the aeronautical manufacturers is to move toward dry cutting by eliminating or minimising cutting fluids. This goal can be achieved by a clear understanding of the cutting fluid function in machining operations, in particular in high speed cutting, and by the development and the use of new materials for tools and coatings. High speed cutting is another important aspect of advanced manufacturing technology introduced to achieve high productivity and to save machining cost. The combination of high speed cutting and dry cutting for difficult-to-cut aerospace materials is the growing challenge to deal with the economic, environmental and health aspects of machining.In this paper, attention is focussed on Inconel 718 and recent work and advances concerning machining of this material are presented. In addition, some solutions to reduce the use of coolants are explored, and different coating techniques to enable a move towards dry machining are examined.  相似文献

The paper describes the modification of PAN fibres with metallic nickel in order to give the fibre electroconductive properties. This is achieved by two consecutively executed processes. The first process is chemical metallization, involving the immersion of the PAN fibres in a bath containing 0.5 mol l−1 NiCl2 and 1.5 mol l−1 Rongalite at pH = 5.5 and T=288–293 K. Ni(II) is absorbed in the structure of the fibre and adsorbed at the surface through a complex reaction with the cyanide and carboxylic acid groups present in the PAN chemical structure and the Rongalite reduces the adsorbed Ni(II) to metallic Ni. The second process is galvanisation of the Ni-containing PAN surface (the Ni particles present at the surface form a “seed” layer) in an electrolyte bath using an electrolyte with 150 g l−1 of NiSO4 at pH 5–6 and room temperature. The resulting fibre showed a specific electrical resistance of the order of 10−6 Ω m, which is a promising result.  相似文献

In this paper, the admissible region of a biobjective knapsack problem is our main interest. Although the reduction of feasible region has been studied by some authors, yet more investigation has to be done in order to deeply explore the domain before solving the problem. We propose, however, a new technique based on extreme supported efficient solutions combined with the dominance relationship between items' efficiency. An illustration of the algorithm by a didactic example is given and some experiments are presented, showing the efficiency of the procedure compared to the previous techniques found in the literature.  相似文献
