Noise has various effects on comfort, performance and health of human. Sound are analysed by human brain based on the frequencies and amplitudes. In a dynamic system, transmission of sound and vibrations depend on frequency and direction of the input motion and characteristics of the output. It is imperative that automotive manufacturers invest a lot of effort and money to improve and enhance the vibro-acoustics performance of their products. The enhancement effort may be very difficult and time-consuming if one relies only on ‘trial and error’ method without prior knowledge about the sources itself. Complex noise inside a vehicle cabin originated from various sources and travel through many pathways. First stage of sound quality refinement is to find the source. It is vital for automotive engineers to identify the dominant noise sources such as engine noise, exhaust noise and noise due to vibration transmission inside of vehicle. The purpose of this paper is to find the vibro-acoustical sources of noise in a passenger vehicle compartment. The implementation of spectral analysis method is much faster than the ‘trial and error’ methods in which, parts should be separated to measure the transfer functions. Also by using spectral analysis method, signals can be recorded in real operational conditions which conduce to more consistent results. A multi-channel analyser is utilised to measure and record the vibro-acoustical signals. Computational algorithms are also employed to identify contribution of various sources towards the measured interior signal. These achievements can be utilised to detect, control and optimise interior noise performance of road transport vehicles.  相似文献

Gadolinium as a contrast agent in MRI technique combined with DTPA causes contrast induced nephropathy (CIN) and nephrogenic systemic fibrosis (NSF) which can reduce by usage of antioxidants such as N‐acetyl cysteine by increasing the membrane''s permeability leads to lower cytotoxicity. In this study, N ‐acetyl cysteine‐PLGA Nano‐conjugate was synthesized according to stoichiometric rules of molar ratios andafter assessment by FTIR, NMR spectroscopy and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) imaging was combined with Magnevist® (gadopentetate dimeglumine) and its effects on the renal cells were evaluated. MTT [3‐(4,5‐Dimethylthiazol‐2‐yl)‐2,5‐Diphenyltetrazolium Bromide] and cellular uptake assays have indicated relatively significant toxicity of magnevist (P  < 0.05) on three cell lines including HEK293, MCF7 and L929 compared to other synthesized ligands that shown no toxicity. Moreover, systemic evaluation has shown no notable changes of blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and creatinine in kidney of mice. In consequence, antioxidant effect was increased as well as the renal toxicity of the contrast agent reduced at the cell level. Barium aluminate cements have been synthesized by barium carbonate, alumina, kaolin and colloidal silica as starting materials. The effects of the source of SiO2 and of firing temperature on phase formation and physical properties of the fired cements have been studied. Cement samples were characterized using XRD, SEM, EDX. The setting time and heat of hydration of cements were also evaluated. The barium aluminate cements were mixed in castables. Cold crushing strengths evaluated, and values compared to those obtained using calcium aluminate cement (Secar 71). Mixtures of BaCO3 and Al2O3 were targeted to produce BaAl2O4; which had fast set time, expansive behavior and lower strength compared to samples with SiO2 additions. SiO2 additions, regardless of source, resulted in BaAl2Si2O8 (celsian) formation. The prepared samples had short setting times and higher mechanical properties in comparison with standard calcium aluminate cement.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: A large number of bacterial, fungal and microalgal species are able to bio‐transform steroid compounds. Among them, fungi from the Mucor genus have been shown to mediate hydroxylation, oxidation, and desaturation by the double bond formation and epoxidation of various steroid substances. Mucor racemocus has not been studied for its ability to modify androst‐1,4‐dien‐3,17‐dione, a pharmaceutically important steroid precursor. RESULTS: The filamentous fungus M. racemosus was applied for bioconversion of androst‐1,4‐dien‐3,17‐dione (ADD, I ) in a 5‐day fermentation. Microbial metabolites were purified chromatographically and identified on the basis of their spectral data as 17β‐hydroxyandrost‐1,4‐dien‐3‐one ( II ), 14α‐hydroxyandrost‐1,4‐dien‐3,17‐dione ( III ), 15α‐hydroxyandrost‐1,4‐dien‐3,17‐dione ( IV ), 15α,17β‐dihydroxyandrost‐1,4‐dien‐3‐one ( V ), 14α,17β‐dihydroxyandrost‐1,4‐dien‐3‐one ( VI ), and 6β,17β‐dihydroxyandrost‐1,4‐dien‐3‐one ( VII ). CONCLUSION: Observed modifications included hydroxylation at C‐6β, C‐14α, C‐15α positions and 17‐carbonyl reduction. The best fermentation conditions for production of hydroxysteroid‐1,4‐dien‐3‐one derivatives were found to be 25 °C at 150 rpm for 5 days with a substrate concentration of 0.5 g L?1. Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) are commonly used in biosensors of various kinds. However, its application to extract DNA from cancer tissues has not been extensively studied. The purification of DNA from cancer tissues is an important step in diagnostic and therapeutic development. Almost, all cervical cancer cases are associated with high‐risk human papillomavirus (HR‐HPV) infection. Accurate viral diagnosis has so far relied on the extraction of adequate amounts of DNA from formalin‐fixed, paraffin‐embedded (FFPE) tissue samples. Till now, no specific and sensitive DNA purification method has been introduced for the extraction of HR‐HPV from FFPE tissue. Since the commercially available purification kits are not sensitive and specific enough for HR‐HPV DNA targets, in this study, a DNA purification method was designed based on AuNPs to purify sufficient amounts of HR‐HPV DNA from cervical cancer tissue samples. AuNPs were coated with a series of oligonucleotide probes to hybridize to specific DNA sequences of HR‐HPV genotypes. Results showed that 733 out of 800 copies of type‐specific HPV DNA were recovered with complete specificity, compared to 36 copies with a standard commercial kit (Qiagen FFPE). In this paper, the robust bounded-input bounded-output stability of a large class of linear time invariant fractional order families of systems with real parametric uncertainties is analyzed. The transfer functions contain polynomials in fractional powers of the Laplace variable s, possibly in combination with exponentials of fractional powers of s. Using the concept of the value set and a generalization of the zero exclusion condition theorem, a theorem to check the robust bounded-input bounded-output stability of these families of systems is presented. An upper cutoff frequency for drawing the value sets is provided as well. Finally, two numerical examples are given to illustrate results obtained by the lemma and theorems presented in the paper.  相似文献

The electronic band structure of InN, InAs and InSb has been investigated by ETB. The ETB method has been formulated for sp3d2 basis and nearest neighbor interactions of the compounds and its energy parameters have been derived from the results of the present first principles calculations carried on InN, InAs and InSb. It has been found that the present ETB parameters can produce the band structure of the compounds successfully.  相似文献

Effects of germination time and illuminations on sprout yield, biosynthesis of ascorbic acid, cooking ability and moisture accumulation in chickpeas were significant (p ? 0.01). Green light had the highest promoting effect on the ascorbic acid level (40.59 mg/100 g) as compared to other illuminations but significantly reduced the sprout yield (188.6 g) as compared to dark, fluorescence and γ-rays illuminations with significantly high sprout yield (196 g) and imbibing moisture (51%). Cooking time was reduced by 43% due to γ-rays in un-soaked seed. Cooking time increased in all treated chickpea samples after 24 h germination and thereafter decreased significantly. Red light significantly increased the cooking time (68.44 min) followed by fluorescent (64.5 min), yellow (61.8 min) and green light (60.9 min). The results indicated that germination of chickpea under green light was an effective process in enhancing ascorbic acid content while dark, fluorescence and γ-rays were effective in promoting sprout growth and to some extent biosynthesis of ascorbic acid.  相似文献
