Fe/Al-MCM-41 (Si/Al = 25, 50, 75 and 100) were synthesized. Their catalytic activity was evaluated towards benzylation of benzene with benzyl chloride in liquid phase. The catalytic activity of Fe/Al-MCM-41(25) was higher than the other catalysts. Diphenylmethane(DPM) was obtained as the major product with 100% selectivity and with 100% conversion of benzyl chloride under optimum condition. The effect of temperature and the feed ratio, on the activity of Fe/Al-MCM-41(25) and selectivity towards DPM was studied and a possible reaction mechanism was proposed.  相似文献

Mycobacterium tuberculosis salicylate synthase (MbtI), a member of the chorismate‐utilizing enzyme family, catalyses the first committed step in the biosynthesis of the siderophore mycobactin T. This complex secondary metabolite is essential for both virulence and survival of M. tuberculosis, the etiological agent of tuberculosis (TB). It is therefore anticipated that inhibitors of this enzyme may serve as TB therapies with a novel mode of action. Herein we describe the first inhibition study of M. tuberculosis MbtI using a library of functionalized benzoate‐based inhibitors designed to mimic the substrate (chorismate) and intermediate (isochorismate) of the MbtI‐catalyzed reaction. The most potent inhibitors prepared were those designed to mimic the enzyme intermediate, isochorismate. These compounds, based on a 2,3‐dihydroxybenzoate scaffold, proved to be low‐micromolar inhibitors of MbtI. The most potent inhibitors in this series possessed hydrophobic enol ether side chains at C3 in place of the enol‐pyruvyl side chain found in chorismate and isochorismate.  相似文献

The glycolytic modulator TP53-Inducible Glycolysis and Apoptosis Regulator (TIGAR) is overexpressed in several types of cancer and has a role in metabolic rewiring during tumor development. However, little is known about the role of this enzyme in proliferative tissues under physiological conditions. In the current work, we analysed the role of TIGAR in primary human lymphocytes stimulated with the mitotic agent Concanavalin A (ConA). We found that TIGAR expression was induced in stimulated lymphocytes through the PI3K/AKT pathway, since Akti-1/2 and LY294002 inhibitors prevented the upregulation of TIGAR in response to ConA. In addition, suppression of TIGAR expression by siRNA decreased the levels of the proliferative marker PCNA and increased cellular ROS levels. In this model, TIGAR was found to support the activity of glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PDH), the first enzyme of the pentose phosphate pathway (PPP), since the inhibition of TIGAR reduced G6PDH activity and increased autophagy. In conclusion, we demonstrate here that TIGAR is upregulated in stimulated human lymphocytes through the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway, which contributes to the redirection of the carbon flux to the PPP.  相似文献

Abstract. This paper analyses how outliers affect the identification of conditional heteroscedasticity and the estimation of generalized autoregressive conditionally heteroscedastic (GARCH) models. First, we derive the asymptotic biases of the sample autocorrelations of squared observations generated by stationary processes and show that the properties of some conditional homoscedasticity tests can be distorted. Second, we obtain the asymptotic and finite sample biases of the ordinary least squares (OLS) estimator of ARCH(p) models. The finite sample results are extended to generalized least squares (GLS), maximum likelihood (ML) and quasi‐maximum likelihood (QML) estimators of ARCH(p) and GARCH(1,1) models. Finally, we show that the estimated asymptotic standard deviations are biased estimates of the sample standard deviations.  相似文献

The success of ‘phosphorus (P) recapitalisation’ depends on the changes in residual value (RV) over time. RVs of triple superphosphate (TSP), Gafsa phosphate rock (GPR) and Christmas Island phosphate rock (CIPR) were determined with and without manure bimonthly for 14 months. RV was calculated as the amount of previously applied fertiliser required to produce yield X divided by the amount of freshly applied TSP required to produce the same yield. Dry matter yield (DMY) response curves were curvilinear, with maximum DMY (11 t ha?1) occurring between 150 and 200 kg P ha?1 at 6 months and declining with time to 2–4 t ha?1 (14 months). Manure/fertiliser combinations increased DMY for CIPR but depressed DMY for TSP and GPR in all harvests except the first one. This can be attributed to nutrient imbalance caused by high P levels. RVs declined with time for fertilisers alone from 100–140% to 10–20% (14 months), while for fertiliser/manure combinations they declined from 110–180% to 10–20% (14 months). Increasing P rates from 100 to 300 kg P ha?1 resulted in the depression of initial RVs (100–140%) to 20–60% and later to 10–20% (14 months). Therefore P recapitalisation was not beneficial and hence annual P application would be recommended at 100–150 kg P ha?1. The phosphate rocks could effectively substitute for TSP.
