The optical properties of hydrogenated amorphous silicon thin films prepared by a new thermocatalytic plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) method are here reported for the first time. The transmission spectrum of the film, deposited at a rate of 1.5 nm/s, was measured between 500 and 1100 nm. The envelopes of the transmission spectrum interference maxima and minima were analyzed to reveal the absorption coefficient α(λ@#@), the refractive indexn(λ), the average thickness of the film (791 nm) and the variation of the thickness (11.4 nm), using an analysis which takes into account film inhomogeneity. The modified Newton's method of numerical analysis was used to obtain the optical parameters. The optical band gap ε0} was determined to be 1.69 eV from the absorption coefficient spectrum, commensurate with values quoted for lower deposition rate PECVD films. The value for ε0}, the small variation of the film thickness, and a value for the defect density of 3.7 x 1015}cm-3} determined for similar material in other work indicate that the thermocatalytic PECVD method can produce acceptable quality films at a high deposition rate.  相似文献

Region-by-region comparison of data concerning left ventricular (LV) status is difficult to perform quantitatively if the data was acquired from disparate imaging modalities. We validated a method for comparing measurements obtained by electromechanical mapping (EMM) catheter with dobutamine stress echocardiography (DSE) via biplane contrast ventriculography, with the assistance of three-dimensional (3-D) echocardiographic data. The ventriculograms were traced and the borders were used to reconstruct the LV in 3-D with the aid of a database of 3-D echocardiographic studies. The 3-D LV was oriented to the EMM data based on the body coordinates and then manually scaled and translated to fit. The EMM data were mapped to the 3-D surface. The 3-D surface was divided into the 16 regions defined for echocardiographic assessment. The mean EMM value for local linear shortening, a parameter of function, was computed in each segment. The EMM and semiquantitative echocardiographic assessments of regional myocardial function were compared by segment, and the volume of the 3-D LV was compared with the volume computed from the ventriculogram. The volume of the 3-D surface correlated closely with that of the ventriculogram (r = 0.97, SEE = 27.4 ml) but with a significant overestimation of 63 +/- 35 ml. There was a highly significant (p < 0.0001) agreement in regional function between EMM and echo. Local linear shortening correlated significantly (p < 0.0001) with echocardiographic severity of wall motion, averaging 9.5 +/- 6.5, 8.1 +/- 5.4, 5.9 +/- 4.8, and 6.2 +/- 3.3 in segments read as normal, hypokinetic, akinetic, and dyskinetic, respectively. The method presented is valid for comparing cardiac parameters derived from disparate image data on a region-by-region basis by employing anatomic landmarks on 3-D reconstructions of the LV endocardial surface.  相似文献

Personalization is a key aspect of biophysical models in order to impact clinical practice. In this paper, we propose a personalization method of electromechanical models of the heart from cine-MR images based on the adjoint method. After estimation of electrophysiological parameters, the cardiac motion is estimated based on a proactive electromechanical model. Then cardiac contractilities on two or three regions are estimated by minimizing the discrepancy between measured and simulation motion. Evaluation of the method on three patients with infarcted or dilated myocardium is provided.  相似文献

Control of interactions between nanomaterials and cells remains a biomedical challenge. A strategy is proposed to modulate the intralysosomal distribution of nanoparticles through the design of 3D suprastructures built by hydrophilic nanocrystals (NCs) coated with alkyl chains. The intracellular fate of two water‐dispersible architectures of self‐assembled hydrophobic magnetic NCs: hollow deformable shells (colloidosomes) or solid fcc particles (supraballs) is compared. These two self‐assemblies display increased cellular uptake by tumor cells compared to dispersions of the water‐soluble NC building blocks. Moreover, the self‐assembly structures increase the NCs density in lysosomes and close to the lysosome membrane. Importantly, the structural organization of NCs in colloidosomes and supraballs are maintained in lysosomes up to 8 days after internalization, whereas initially dispersed hydrophilic NCs are randomly aggregated. Supraballs and colloidosomes are differently sensed by cells due to their different architectures and mechanical properties. Flexible and soft colloidosomes deform and spread along the biological membranes. In contrast, the more rigid supraballs remain spherical. By subjecting the internalized suprastructures to a magnetic field, they both align and form long chains. Overall, it is highlighted that the mechanical and topological properties of the self‐assemblies direct their intracellular fate allowing the control intralysosomal density, ordering, and localization of NCs.  相似文献

Zn and Zn–Ni alloy coatings were electrodeposited on mild steel from sulfate-based bath containing Sn as additive. The effect of Ni content on the microstructure, morphology, microhardness and the tribological behavior of these coatings were studied and discussed. Adding Sn in the sulfate bath had a significant effect on the surface morphology, particularly on the Zn–8 wt% Ni coatings. By increasing the Ni concentration from 8 to 14 wt%, the X-ray patterns showed that the phase structure of Zn–Ni alloy coatings was changed from η-phase Ni3Zn22 to γ-phase Ni5Zn21. The plastic deformation and delamination were found to be wear mechanisms for the investigated coatings. While the Zn–14 wt% Ni alloys had the best wear resistance, Zn films had the most severe wear volume loss and the highest friction coefficient.  相似文献

This study aimed to determine the kinetics of milk protein digestion and amino acid absorption after ingestion of four dairy matrices by six minipigs: unheated or heated skim milk and corresponding rennet gels. Digestive contents and plasma samples were collected over a 7 h-period after meal ingestion. Gelation of milk slowed down the outflow of the meal from the stomach and the subsequent absorption of amino acids, and decreased their bioavailability in peripheral blood. The gelled rennet matrices also led to low levels of milk proteins at the duodenum. Caseins and β-lactoglobulin, respectively, were sensitive and resistant to hydrolysis in the stomach with the unheated matrices, but showed similar digestion with the heated matrices, with a heat-induced susceptibility to hydrolysis for β-lactoglobulin. These results suggest a significant influence of the meal microstructure (resulting from heat treatment) and macrostructure (resulting from gelation process) on the different steps of milk proteins digestion.  相似文献

Foreign (non-mainland Chinese) architectural, engineering and construction (AEC) firms may face difficulties managing construction projects in China because they are unfamiliar with this new operating environment. This study investigates project management (PM) practices adopted by Singaporean AEC firms in China. It determines the performance level of their projects in China; identifies PM practices that led to better performance; and recommends key PM practices that could be adopted by foreign AEC firms in China to achieve project success. A structured questionnaire was designed and data were collected via a self-administered postal and email survey, targeting Singaporean AEC firms that had undertaken and managed projects in China. The study finds that certain PM practices do indeed affect project performance. The most important of these are practices relating to scope management, such as controlling the quality of the contract document, quality of response to perceived variations and extent of changes to the contract. It is recommended that foreign firms adopt some of the PM practices highlighted in this study to help them achieve better project performance in China.  相似文献

The role of thiol/disulphide exchanges during acid gelation of preheated milk was studied with milk samples with or without N‐ethylmaleimide (NEM), a thiol‐blocking agent, and acidified to pH 4 by the addition of glucono‐delta‐lactone at 20 °C. Active or total thiol groups, particle size with light scattering measurements in a dissociating solvent or by SDS‐agarose electrophoresis were determined on acidified milk samples. Diffusing wave spectroscopy and rheology in low strain were applied during acidification of sample, while rheology in large strain was applied on final acid gels. The only effect of the presence of NEM was a reduced firmness of acid gels as measured at large strain and a reduced tendency to form large aggregates at pH<5.5. In conclusions, thiol/disulphide exchanges during acidification of milk played only a minor role in the building of acid gel networks from heated milk.  相似文献
