This paper presents an experimental study on the evaluation of thermal response of a spiral coil type GHE (ground heat exchanger). This GHE was installed on partially saturated landfill ground that was composed of silt and clay in the runway area of Incheon International airport. TRT (thermal response test) was conducted for more than 65 hours under continuous operation conditions. Ground thermal conductivity was derived based on line source theory, which has usually been found to be appropriate for line type GHEs such as U, W and 2U types. A reasonable method to derive ground thermal conductivity using the infinite line source theory for a spiral coil type GHE was introduced. Ground thermal conductivity from the TRT using spiral coil type GHE was compared with those from the analytical equivalent model of ground thermal conductivity.  相似文献

The article presents a case report about a 38‐year‐old hemodialyzed woman who presented to our department with a painful, expansile, lytic bone lesion of the fifth metacarpal epiphysis. The lesion was resected and replaced by corticocancellous bone graft. At 3 months, imaging suggested signs of graft resorption and local recurrence which necessitated repeat excision and grafting. Because of secondary parathyroidism subsequent subtotal parathyroidectomy was performed. This procedure leads to appropriate bone remodeling by 8 weeks postoperatively, and recurrence has not been observed at 2 years of follow up.  相似文献

We report a case of long‐term uneventful catheter use in a patient with previous recurrent vascular access dysfunction and infection. A single‐lumen tunneled catheter was inserted into the left internal jugular vein after a failed attempt of dual‐lumen permanent catheter placement. The follow‐up since device implantation has exceeded 5 years without any complications related to vascular access.  相似文献

Platinum/carbon (Pt/C) composite materials were prepared by the hydrazine reduction of H2PtCl6 confined to a mixed surfactant lytropic liquid crystal (LC)/C mixture with varying amounts of water. The reaction at relatively low water contents successfully yielded cross-linked Pt nanowires with wire-widths of 2-5 nm. The novel Pt nanostructure is believed to be from poorly hydrated hexagonal domains formed together with layered domains by the phase separation of the precursory LC mixture in the presence of carbon. Electrochemical measurements using cyclic volutammetry and membrane electrode assemblies revealed that the cross-linked nanowired Pt/C composite exhibits fairly high electrocatalytic activity for oxygen reduction reaction, as well as a high performance as the cathode material for polymer electrolyte fuel cells.  相似文献

The effect of oxygen plasma treatment (t = 0.1–60 min, pO2 = 0.2 mbar, P = 50 W) of parylene C implant surface coating was investigated in order to check its influence on morphology (SEM, AFM observations), chemical composition (XPS analysis), hydrophilicity (contact angle measurements) and biocompatibility (MG-63 cell line and Staphylococcus aureus 24167 DSM adhesion screening). The modification procedure leads to oxygen insertion (up to 20 at.%) into the polymer matrix and together with surface topography changes has a dramatic impact on wettability (change of contact angle from θ = 78 ± 2 to θ = 33 ± 1.9 for unmodified and 60 min treated sample, respectively). As a result, the hydrophilic surface of modified parylene C promotes MG-63 cells growth and at the same time does not influence S. aureus adhesion. The obtained results clearly show that the plasma treatment of parylene C surface provides suitable polar groups (C = O, C–O, O–C = O, C–O–O and O–C(O)–O) for further development of the coating functionality.  相似文献

This study presents a stable and controllable synthesis of fluorescent magnetic nanoparticles in a flow-through microchannel for the bimodal use of magnetic activated cells sorting and fluorescence-activated cell sorters. The La Mer process is carried out to synthesize magnetic nanoparticles using co-precipitation. Then, the magnetic nanoparticles are coated with conjugation of chitosan and fluorescent isothiocyanate with two different concentrations. The chemical composition of the magnetic nanoparticles is determined by comparing the standard X-ray diffraction peaks of Fe3O4, and their sizes are also examined by using field emission scanning electron microscopy and dynamic light scattering measurement. The magnetic property of saturation magnetization and coercive field is characterized in a vibrating sample magnetometer. Also, the possibility of external manipulation in the synthesis of the magnetic particles is demonstrated by separating the synthesized fluorescent magnetic nanoparticles into a non-reacting lamination flow. Finally, their fluorescence property is determined by measuring the fluorescence adsorption spectra and the photoluminescence emission spectra in UV–Vis spectroscopy.  相似文献
