A stepwise surface functionalization procedure, based on hybrid covalent and non-covalent approach is herein proposed to anchor tetra-anionic meso-tetrakis(4-sulfonatophenyl)porphyrin on ZnO nanorods. Carboxyalkylphosphonic acids have been proven effective to form stable self-assembled monolayers through the surface grafting of –PO3H2 headgroups. The exposed carboxylic functionalities are suitable for the successful grafting of cationic poly-l-lysine that drives, in water, the non-covalent anchoring of the anionic porphyrin. A stepwise surface characterization, provided by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, elucidates the multilayers deposition and surface composition after each process step, thus, giving interesting insights on the chemical speciation of the exposed functionalities. UV–vis spectroscopy confirms the role of ZnO morphology to increase the porphyrin loading onto the investigated surfaces. The proposed approach is effective to achieve deposition of anionic porphyrins on ZnO nanostructures and combines the robustness of covalent functionalization with the versatility and full reversibility of the non-covalent strategies. 相似文献

The 2D semiconductor MoS2 in its mono‐ and few‐layer form is expected to have a significant exciton binding energy of several 100 meV, suggesting excitons as the primary photoexcited species. Nevertheless, even single layers show a strong photovoltaic effect and work as the active material in high sensitivity photodetectors, thus indicating efficient charge carrier photogeneration. Here, modulation spectroscopy in the sub‐ps and ms time scales is used to study the photoexcitation dynamics in few‐layer MoS2. The results suggest that the primary photoexcitations are excitons that efficiently dissociate into charges with a characteristic time of 700 fs. Based on these findings, simple suggestions for the design of efficient MoS2 photovoltaic and photodetector devices are made. 相似文献

High I/O flow rates, up to 10 GB/s, are required in large fusion Tokamak experiments like ITER where hundreds of nodes store simultaneously large amounts of data acquired during the plasma discharges. Typical network topologies such as linear arrays (systolic), rings, meshes (2-D arrays), tori (3-D arrays), trees, butterfly, hypercube in combination with high speed data transports like Infiniband or 10G-Ethernet, are the main areas in which the effort to overcome the so-called parallel I/O bottlenecks is most focused.The high I/O flow rates were modelled in an emulated testbed based on the parallel file systems such as Lustre and GPFS, commonly used in High Performance Computing. The test runs on High Performance Computing–For Fusion (8640 cores) and ENEA CRESCO (3392 cores) supercomputers. Message Passing Interface based applications were developed to emulate parallel I/O on Lustre and GPFS using data archival and access solutions like MDSPLUS and Universal Access Layer. These methods of data storage organization are widely diffused in nuclear fusion experiments and are being developed within the EFDA Integrated Tokamak Modelling – Task Force; the authors tried to evaluate their behaviour in a realistic emulation setup. 相似文献

In this article, we develop a dynamic version of the variational multiscale (D‐VMS) stabilization for nearly/fully incompressible solid dynamics simulations of viscoelastic materials. The constitutive models considered here are based on Prony series expansions, which are rather common in the practice of finite element simulations, especially in industrial/commercial applications. Our method is based on a mixed formulation, in which the momentum equation is complemented by a pressure equation in rate form. The unknown pressure, displacement, and velocity are approximated with piecewise linear, continuous finite element functions. To prevent spurious oscillations, the pressure equation is augmented with a stabilization operator specifically designed for viscoelastic problems, in that it depends on the viscoelastic dissipation. We demonstrate the robustness, stability, and accuracy properties of the proposed method with extensive numerical tests in the case of linear and finite deformations. 相似文献

The role of excess photon energy on charge generation efficiency in bulk heterojunction solar cells is still an open issue for the organic photovoltaic community. Here, the spectral dependence of the internal quantum efficiency (IQE) for a poly[2,6‐(4,4‐bis‐(2‐ethylhexyl)‐4H‐cyclopenta[2,1‐b;3,4‐b]dithiophene)‐alt‐4,7‐(2,1,3‐benzothiadiazole)]:6,6‐phenyl‐C61‐butyric acid methyl ester (PCPDTBT:PC60BM)‐based solar cell is derived combining accurate optoelectronic characterization and comprehensive optical modeling. This joint approach is shown to be essential to get reliable values of the IQE. Photons with energy higher than the bandgap of the donor material can effectively contribute to enhance the IQE of the solar cell. This holds true independently of the device architecture, reflecting an intrinsic property of the active material. Moreover, the nanomorphology of the bulk heterojunction plays a crucial role in determining the IQE spectral dependence: the coarser and more crystalline, the lesser the gain in IQE upon high energy excitation. 相似文献

Among the very rare intracerebral lipomas, those of the corpus callosum are the most frequent. Due to the advanced technology and the frequent use of ultrasonography these lesions are diagnosed more and more often. A female neonate was admitted to our hospital because of a progressive thrombocytopenia. Pregnancy was complicated by an autoimmune thrombocytopenia of the mother. While there were no remarkable findings on clinical presentation, a sonogram of the brain revealed an area of increased echogenicity in the midline which was interpreted as an intracerebral hemorrhage. In absence of any respective clinical signs a magnet-resonance-tomography of the brain was performed leading to the hypothesis of a lipoma of the corpus callosum (LCC) that could be verified by a densitometry in a cranial computer tomography (CT). Obviously, the initially performed sonogram was misinterpreted as an intracerebral hemorrhage due to the coincidence with the thrombocytopenia. At last the discrepancy of clinical and ultrasonographical findings led to the diagnosis by magnet-resonance-tomography and CT scan. Knowledge of the typical sonographic appearance of an LCC may be helpful for the differential diagnosis of this rare lesion even in fetal ultrasound. 相似文献

This article reviews some recent studies on alcohol preference, dependence, metabolism and pharmacokinetics which were mainly carried out in our department. The inbred strains of mice with genetically different alcohol drinking behavior and alcohol animal model treated with the neurotoxins, 6-hydroxydopamine and 5,7-dihydroxytryptamine, are useful for a behavioral and pharmacological approach to evaluate the contribution of specific neural systems to alcohol, drug dependence mechanism and alcohol drinking behavior. The relations between alcohol preference and some physiological conditions are reviewed. On the drug-alcohol interaction, some drugs containing the chemical group = CHONO2, antimony and methamphetamine are addressed. This article also deals with recent topics in the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of alcohol. The dose-dependency of the alcohol elimination rate, the first-pass metabolism during alcohol drinking, and the pharmacodynamic model for describing pulse rate reaction to plasma acetaldehyde are discussed. 相似文献

Reduced antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) was demonstrated in lymphocytes of patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Rheumatoid factor (RF) positive sera inhibited ADCC of normal lymphocytes by reacting both with effector and target cells (sensitized chicken red blood cells). These sera were fractionated by specific adsorption or gradient ultracentrifugation, and isolated RF or RF negative fractions were tested for their ability to inhibit ADCC by reacting with normal human lymphocytes or target cells. RF was ineffective on normal lymphocytes but it strongly inhibited the reaction by interaction with target cells. IgG RF negative fractions of certain sera were inhibitory by direct interaction with effector cells. 相似文献
