The effect of phosphorus ions on the proton conductivity was examined for the sol–gel-derived glasses. The porous glasses were prepared through hydrolysis of PO(OCH3)3 and Si(OC2H5)4, in which the phosphorus ions consisted of the POH bonds and were dissolved into the silica matrix without any P-O-Si bond. The electrical conductivity increased in a humid atmosphere and reached ∼30 mS/cm at 50°C under 70% RH. High conductivity is achieved by both the POH bonds and the molecular water bonded to the POH bonds. The conductivity increased with a change in humidity from 40% to 80% RH. The phosphorus ions were selectively dissolved in water, resulting in a lower conductivity.  相似文献

Supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) was used in the analysis of bacterial respiratory quinone (RQ), bacterial phospholipid fatty acid (PLFA), and archaeal phospholipid ether lipid (PLEL) from anaerobically digested sludge. Bacterial RQ were determined using ultra performance liquid chromatography (UPLC). Determination of bacterial PLFA and archaeal PLEL was simultaneously performed using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The effects of pressure, temperature, and modifier concentration on the total amounts of RQ, PLFA, and PLEL were investigated by 23 experiments with five settings chosen for each variable. The optimal extraction conditions that were obtained through a multiple-response optimization included a pressure of 23.6 MPa, temperature of 77.6 °C, and 10.6% (v/v) of methanol as the modifier. Thirty nine components of microbial lipid biomarkers were identified in the anaerobically digested sludge. Overall, the SFE method proved to be more effective, rapid, and quantitative for simultaneously extracting bacterial and archaeal lipid biomarkers, compared to conventional organic solvent extraction. This work shows the potential application of SFE as a routine method for the comprehensive analysis of microbial community structures in environmental assessments using the lipid biomarkers profile.  相似文献

Internal oxidation of dilute silver alloys containing Al, Mg, Zn, Cu, and Sn was studied in air at temperatures between 573 K and 1173 K. Electrical resistivity, gravimetric, and gas-extraction measurements were made. The general trend of the resistivity is that it increases upon oxidation at lower temperatures and the resistivity decreases at higher temperatures in all of these alloys except Ag-Mg, in which it increases even at 1173 K. The increase in resistivity is considered to be related to the formation of clusters having excess oxygen. A detailed investigation was performed on Ag-Al alloys. The O/Al ratio in the clusters in Ag-2.2 at.% Al is much higher on oxidation at 773 K than for stoichiometric Al2O3 at 1173 K. The clusters release the excess oxygen on subsequent annealing at high temperatures, and decompose to stable Al2O3 at 1173 K.  相似文献

Stress corrosion cracking (SCC) in the fusion boundary (FB) region of an Alloy 182-A533B low alloy steel (LAS) dissimilar weld joint in high temperature water doped with sulfate was studied following a microstructure characterization of the FB region. The microstructure characterization suggested the type-II and type-I boundaries in the dilution zone (DZ) adjacent to the FB had lower resistance to SCC growth than the FB. Crack propagating perpendicular to the FB in the DZ was observed to be blunted by pitting at the FB, followed by the reactivation from the pitting by localized oxidation along the grain boundary in LAS.  相似文献

Acetalized poly(vinyl alcohol)s which were synthesized from poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) and aldehyde or ketone were evaluated as electron beam (EB) resists, in order to investigate the relationship between EB sensitivity and chemical structures of the polymers. It was found that the acetalized PVAs were easily crosslinked by EB exposure. The main mechanism of crosslinking may be radical reaction at acetal group. The sensitivity of the acetalized PVA depended on the structure of the acetal group. Acetalized PVAs synthesized from benzaldehyde, in which the electron attracting group was substituted on the benzene ring and from linear aliphatic aldehyde having a long alkyl chain, had high sensitivity. A high sensitivity of 7.2 × 10−7 C/cm2 was attained when the acetalized PVA synthesized from p-chloro-benzaldehyde was used. Acetalized PVAs synthesized from PVA and aldehyde having a cyclic structure had an excellent dry etching durability and were suitable as negative EB resists.  相似文献

To overcome the low ionic conduction of existing poly(ethylene oxide)-based polymer electrolytes, we consider polycarbonates obtained from the copolymerization of CO2 and epoxy monomers. We synthesized four types of polycarbonates possessing phenyl, n-butyl, t-butyl and methoxyethyl side groups using zinc glutarate, and measured the ionic conductivity of their electrolytes, including 10 mol% of LiTFSI. The electrolyte possessing methoxyethyl side groups had the highest conductivity, of the order of 10−6 S cm−1 at room temperature. The activation energy (Ea) for ionic conduction in the polycarbonate electrolytes was estimated from the VTF equation, and the Ea of the electrolyte possessing n-butyl side groups was almost the same with the polyether-based electrolytes. An interesting feature of our study is that the polycarbonate is a unique candidate for ion-conductive polymers because of its flexible and hydrophobic properties.  相似文献

Scientists have become increasingly concerned about the occurrence of antibacterial resistance in the environment. In this study, Escherichia coli resistant to one or more antibiotics among nine antibiotics was screened from Wenyu River Basin in Beijing, China, with mean frequency of 48.7 +/- 8.7% of 388 isolates in summer and 47 +/- 6% of 236 isolates in winter. The mean multiantibiotic resistance (MAR) index in summer was 0.11 +/- 0.03, slightly lower than that (0.14 +/- 0.04) in winter. Most frequent resistance appeared for sulfonamides, tetracycline, and ampicillin. The distribution of 20 tetracycline, three sulfonamide, and three beta-lactam resistance genes was assessed in the resistant isolates. While 97% of the ampicillin (AMP) resistant mechanism could be explained by the resistance gene TEM, 90% of the tetracycline (TC) and 96% of the sulfonamide (SXT) resistances could be explained by tet(A), tet(B), tet(M), and their combinations and sul(I), sul(II), sul(III), and their combinations, respectively. tet(M), a tetracycline-resistant gene originally detected in Gram-positive bacteria, and its combinations with tet(A) or tet(B) were first detected in E. coli isolated from a natural river basin, suggesting that tet(M) in E. coli might have been transferred from other bacterial species through horizontal gene transfer, which was supported by the fact that no tet(M) was detected in the isolates of human and chicken sources, except for only one isolate from swine. The source of sulfonamide-resistant E. coli in the river was supposed to be mainly from humans, based on a comparison of the sulfonamide resistance genotypes in animals and humans.  相似文献

In this study, we characterized polystyrene-binding peptides (PS-tags) that possess a specific binding affinity for hydrophilic polystyrene (phi-PS) plates. Both the FITC-labeled PS19-1 (RAFIASRRIKRP) and PS19-6 (RIIIRRIRR) peptides showed strong binding affinity for commercially available hydrophilic, but not hydrophobic, PS plates in the presence of the non-ionic surfactant Tween 20. The dissociation constants (Kd) of the PS19-1 and PS19-6 peptides for the hydrophilic PS-A plate were 169 and 86 nM, respectively, and the Kd of both peptides increased with the concentration of NaCl or urea. Based on adsorption yield and residual activity of glutathione S-transferase (GST) after fusion with the PS19-6 peptide or its variants, it was found that the basic amino acid in the PS-tags, i.e., Arg was essential for the strong binding affinity of PS-tags in both the peptide and peptide-fused protein forms The aliphatic amino acids in PS19-6 and PS19-6L, such as Ile or Leu, were also effective. Thus, a series of PS-tags that possess this unusual feature, especially the peptides PS19-6 (RIIIRRIRR) and PS19-6L (RLLLRRLRR), are potential candidate affinity peptide tags for site-specific immobilization of proteins onto hydrophilic PS plates, which show potential as solid supports for protein-based biochips.  相似文献

The effects of viscous dissipation of working fluid on the optimum heat sink parameters are investigated for the case of air cooling with a micro-/narrow-channeled compact heat sink. For this purpose, an optimization method is introduced first on the basis of dimensionless groups while employing several assumptions. This method yields minimum pumping work or pressure drop with a set of optimized geometric/hydrodynamic parameters when outer dimension of a heat sink and imposed thermal load are specified. Especially for the case of laminar flow, the procedure presents an explicit existence of cooling limit by the viscous heat generation, giving an analytical expression of the maximum removable heat Q max . The relationships between thermal load and each parameter are calculated for both laminar and turbulent regimes under the conditions of compact heat sink dimension (20 mm 2 20 mm 2 2 mm) and circular cross-sectional shape of channels. The results show that the cooling capability under such conditions is largely limited by the salient manifestation of viscous dissipation, when compared with our previous investigation on water cooling presented in [1]. From the discussion, it was concluded that when a micro-/narrow-channeled heat sink is to be designed with air, the effect of viscous dissipation should be taken into account in order to avoid falling on wrong optimum solutions.  相似文献
