In recent years, due to their straightforward structure and efficiency, the chaos-based cryptographic algorithms have become a good candidate for image encryption. However, they still suffer from many weaknesses, such as insensitivity to the plain image, weak key streams, small key space, non-resistance to some attacks and failure to meet some security criteria. For this purpose in this paper, a novel hybrid image encryption algorithm named Hyper-chaotic Feeded GA (HFGA) is proposed to fill the gaps in two stages; initial encryption by using a hyper-chaotic system, and then outputs reinforcement by employing a customized Genetic Algorithm (GA). By applying an innovative technique, called gene-labelling, the proposed algorithm not only optimizes the preliminary encrypted images in terms of security criteria but also allows the legal receiver to easily and securely decrypt the optimized cipher image. In fact, in the first stage, besides unpredictable random sequences generated by a hyper-chaotic system, a new sensitive diffusion function is proposed which makes the algorithm resistant to differential attacks. In the second stage, the generated cipher images, which are labeled in a special way, will be used as the initial population of a GA which enhances randomness of the cipher images. The results of several experiments and statistical analysis show that the proposed image encryption scheme provides an efficient and secure way for fast image encrypting as well as providing robustness against some well-known statistical attacks. 相似文献

We present, for the first time, the design of a low-cross talk scalable permutation switch employing photonic crystal ring resonators in an optical network. Through this novel approach, the transition between different states of the \(2 \times 2\) optical switch, as the basic element, is achieved by applying different operating wavelengths. Subsequently, the shuffling mechanisms in \(3 \times 3\) and \(4 \times 4\) optical networks are realized by controlling the position of photonics crystal ring resonators. A polymer–salt-based aqueous two-phase system (ATPS) was developed for the effective extraction and purification of extracellular β-xylosidase from the fermentation broth of recombinant Bacillus megaterium MS941. The effect of molecular weight (MW) of polyethylene glycol (PEG), tie-line length (TLL), volume ratio (VR), crude loading and pH on the recovery performance was evaluated. Under the optimal extraction conditions, β-xylosidase was successfully purified up to 23-fold with a recovery yield of 99% in the bottom salt-rich phase at PEG 4,000/potassium phosphate ATPS comprising TLL of 41.8, VR of 2.3, crude loading (CL) of 30% (w/w) at pH 6. 相似文献

The concept of usage of heterogeneous networks (HetNets) is about improving the LTE system performance by increasing the capacity and coverage of the Macro cell. In this paper, a performance comparison of various packet scheduling algorithms such as Proportional Fair, Maximum Largest Weighted Delay First and Exponential/Proportional Fair is studied in detail in the HetNets environment. The key performance indicators such as throughput, packet loss ratio, delay and fairness are considered to judge the performance of the scheduling algorithms. Various strategies such as increasing the number of Pico cells in the cell edge were used in the simulation for the performance evaluation study. The results achieved through various simulations show that adding Pico cells to the existing Macros enhances the overall system performance in addition to the various scheduling algorithms implemented in Macros. For reader’s convenience, various types of graphs have been used to represent the simulation results to better understand the performance metrics of various scheduling algorithms. Simulation results shows that overall system gain has increased because of adding Picos and thereby providing better coverage in the cell edge areas and thereby increasing the capacity of the network to provide better quality of service. 相似文献

In recent years, addition of nanoparticles to fluids and polymers has been used as a way of modifying rheological properties. Poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) and titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticles aqueous composite nanofluids were prepared through the use of ultrasonic vibration. In fact, ultrasonic vibration is an advantageous method for nanoparticle dispersion. The preparation method prevents reduction of the polymer's molecular weight. TiO2 nanoparticles with different concentrations were employed to investigate the rheological characteristics of composite nanofluids. Rheological characteristics of base fluids and composite nanofluids were measured at different temperatures. Based on the results, all composite nanofluids, as well as base fluids, exhibited non‐Newtonian behavior and rheological characteristics of composite nanofluids, following the Herschel‐Bulkley model. In addition, model parameters are functions of temperature, PVA, and TiO2 nanoparticle concentrations. Also, two‐way interactions among temperature, PVA, and TiO2 nanoparticle concentrations affect flow index and consistency index of the Herschel‐Bulkley model. J. VINYL ADDIT. This paper presents a high step‐up soft switched dc–dc converter having the feature of current ripple cancelation in the input stage that is specialized for power conditioning of fuel cell systems. The converter comprises a special half‐bridge converter and a rectifier stage based upon the voltage‐doubler circuit, in which the coupled‐inductor technology is amalgamated with switched‐capacitor circuit. The input current with no ripple is the principal characteristics of this topology that is achieved by utilizing a small coupled inductor. In addition, the low clamped voltage stress across both power switches and output diodes is another advantage of the proposed converter, which allows employing the metal–oxide–semiconductor field‐effect transistors with minuscule on‐state resistance and diodes with lower forward voltage‐drop, and thereby, the semiconductors' conduction losses diminish considerably. The inherent nature of this topology handles the switching scheme based on the asymmetrical pulse width modulation in order for switches to establish the zero voltage switching, leading to lower switching losses. Besides, because of the absence of the reverse‐recovery phenomenon, all diodes turn off with zero current switching. At last, a 250‐W laboratory prototype with the input voltage 24 V and output voltage 380 V is implemented to verify the especial features of the proposed converter. Synthesis and processing techniques have now been established for obtaining high quality monodisperse nanocrystals of various metallic and semiconducting materials, fullerenes of distinct properties, single- and multi-wall carbon nanotubes, polymeric dendrimers with tailored functionalities, as well as other nanophase constructs. The next key step towards novel applications of nanostructured materials concerns their positioning, arrangement, and connection into functional networks without mutual aggregation. In this review, we highlight the recent progress of using anthracene- and pyrene-based self-assembling molecules with tunable energetic (pi-pi interactions, hydrogen bonding, dipole-dipole interactions) and variable geometries to create stable, highly ordered, and rigid self-assembled monolayer (SAM) templates with adjustable superlattices on crystalline substrates. Based on aromatic SAM templates, stable and highly ordered self-assembled structures of optoelectronically active C60 have been obtained and shown to exhibit desirable electrical and optoelectronic properties, such as nonlinear transporting effect for molecular electronics and efficient photocurrent generation for mimicking photosynthesis in nature. By using genetically engineered polypeptides with surface recognition for specific inorganics, selective integration of nanoparticles onto aromatic SAM templates have also been realized. Through a combination of spatially confined surface chemical reaction and microcontact printing, sub-micron arrays of peptide-organic hybrid conjugates were successfully generated to serve as templates to achieve the patterned assembly of nanoparticles. 相似文献
