A new clearance design method is proposed for a reciprocating fuel pump. Structural and hydrodynamic lubrication analyses were conducted to design the clearance of the pump, and the former was used to evaluate the clearance reduction due to the deformation that results from applying maximum supply pressure. The reduction in the maximum clearance was used as the limit of the design, and the two-dimensional Reynolds equation is used to evaluate the lubrication characteristics of the pump with variations in the viscosity and clearance. The optimal clearance in the pump must be separately designed in both the stem and the head because the lubrication characteristics and the deformation patterns of the two parts are different. The validity of the numerical model was then verified by determining that the position of the wear was also similar to that of the minimum film thickness. Moreover, a rig test system was also used to verify the clearance of the proposed design method.  相似文献

It is significant to compare the ablative and compressive mechanical behavior of different PICA-like materials in the engineering applications. The plasma wind tunnel ablation tests with high-entropy air and CO_2 atmospheres, and compressive experiments in the ambient and 150℃, were conducted for three kinds of PICA-like materials(CF/PR-Si, CBCF/PR-SiOC and NQF/PR-Si composites). The traditional carbon/phenolic(C/PR) braided composites were also used for comparison. PICA-like materials have the better thermal insulation than traditional C/PR composite, especially for CBCF/PR-SiOC composite. The ablation behavior of CF/PR-Si and CBCF/PR-SiOC PICA-like materials in the CO_2 atmosphere can produce a large amount of SiO_2 in the form of coatings, oxide layers and skeletons on the ablated surface, which are greatly different from that in the air atmosphere.The compressive behavior of PICA-like material is greatly depended on the fiber fabrics, and exhibits the large discrete characteristics. The longer fiber in the PICA-like materials plays the role in maintaining the material integrity, while it may increase the thermal conductivity.  相似文献

The characterization of the structure and internal dynamics of biomolecules is essential to understanding their biological function. Neutron scattering probes similar time- and length-scales to molecular dynamics simulation. Hence, simulation models of biomolecules have become invaluable in the interpretation of experimental neutron data. Here, we report on advances in the application of simulation in developing neutron scattering to investigate internal protein motions and, as an example of industrial relevance, in the derivation of physical models of use in biofuel renewable energy research.  相似文献

A series of Cu-Ni-Al hydrotalcites derived oxides with a (Cu+Ni)/Al mole ratio of 3 with varied Cu/Ni mole ratio (from 0.017 to 0.5, with a Cu ratio of 0.0125 to 0.25) were prepared by co-precipitation method, then applied to the hydrogenation of furfural in aqueous. Their catalytic performance for liquid phase hydrogenation of furfural to prepare cyclopentanone was described in detail, considering reaction temperature, catalyst composition, reaction time and so on. The yield of cyclopentanone was influenced by the mole ratio of Cu-Ni-Al based heterogeneous catalyst and depended on the reaction conditions. The yield of cyclopentanone was up to 95.8% when the reaction was carried out under 413 K with H2 pressure of 40 bar for 8 h. The catalysts were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and H2 temperature-programmed reduction (H2-TPR).  相似文献

Because of intensive inter‐node communications, image compositing has always been a bottleneck in parallel visualization systems. In a heterogeneous networking environment, the variation of link bandwidth and latency adds more uncertainty to the system performance. In this paper, we present a pipelining image compositing algorithm in heterogeneous networking environments, which is able to rearrange the direction of data flow of a compositing pipeline under strict ordering constraint. We introduce a novel directional image compositing operator that specifies not only the color and α channels of the output but also the direction of data flow when performing compositing. Based on this new operator, we thoroughly study the properties of image compositing pipelines in heterogeneous environments. We develop an optimization algorithm that could find the optimal pipeline from an exponentially large searching space in polynomial time. Single phase multiferroic BiFeO3 (BFO) ceramics were synthesized with controllable amount of Fe2+ and oxygen vacancies in a very wide concentration range. Double ferroelectric hysteresis loops are observed in fresh BFO ceramics at room temperature without any aging processes. Detailed study shows that this is due to the defect dipoles which have preferential orientations antiparallel to the direction of spontaneous polarization, providing a driving force for domain back-switching. The dielectric constant of BFO could be enormously enhanced by 100 times by increasing the Fe2+ content, employing a polaronic relaxation process.  相似文献

For the purpose of obtaining fully dense B4C with micro hole array of high quality and precision, synthesis of B4C powders were carried out by micro powder injection molding. Five kinds of additive systems were used and their influences on mechanical properties were investigated. The relative density, Vickers hardness, bending strength, and fracture toughness of the B4C ceramics with BS10AY additive sintered at 2000 °C for 2 h could reach 97.56%, 3580.4 HV, 355.3 MPa and 5.87 MPa m1/2, respectively. The temperature was generally 100–200 °C lower than reported temperatures which was attributed to the additives. The improvement in mechanical properties was attributed to grain refinement. A mixture of intragranular and transgranular fractures occurred due to the fine microstructures and the additive systems in the B4C ceramics after sintering. Micro-hole array with the diameter of 450 μm and the length-diameter ratio of more than 8 were obtained. The inhomogeneous filling of feedstock from the substrate to the thin wall between two adjacent micro holes caused the inhomogeneous shrinkage of the substrate and micro holes.  相似文献

By using Cinchona‐derived chiral phosphines as catalytic ligands, enantioenriched cis‐3a,8a‐hexahydropyrrolo[2,3‐b]indoles (ent‐HPIs), which are core scaffolds in a large array of biologically active natural products, can be convergently assembled under mild conditions through the silver(I)‐catalyzed asymmetric domino reaction of readily available isocyanoacetates and 2‐(2‐aminophenyl)acrylates. Various functionalities can be tolerated in the reaction, affording enantioenriched HPIs in high overall yields and good enantioselectivities (up to 92% ees).
