As global supply chains become more developed and complicated, supplier quality has become increasingly influential on the competitiveness of businesses during the Covid-19 pandemic. Consequently, supplier selection is an increasingly important process for any business around the globe. Choosing a supplier is a complex decision that can result in lower procurement costs and increased profits without increasing the cost or lowering the quality of the product. However, these decision-making problems can be complicated in cases with multiple potential suppliers. Vietnam's textile and garment industry, for example, has made rapid progress in recent years but is still facing great difficulties as the supply of raw materials and machinery depends heavily on foreign countries. Therefore, it is extremely important for textile and garment manufacturing companies in Vietnam to implement an effective supplier evaluation and selection process. While multicriteria decision-making models are frequently employed to assist with supplier evaluation and selection problems, few of these models consider the problem under the condition of a fuzzy decision-making environment. The aim of this paper is to create a hybrid MCDM model using the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) model and the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) to assist the supplier selection process in the garment industry in a fuzzy decision-making environment. In this study, the FAHP method is used to evaluate the performance and the weight of each criterion. TOPSIS is then used to rank all potential suppliers. The proposed model is then applied to a real-world case study to demonstrate both the process of calculation as well as its real-world applicability. The results from the case study provide empirical evidence that the model is feasible. The proposed approach can also be used in combination with other MCDM models to better support decision makers and can be modified to be applied in similar supplier selection processes for different industries. 相似文献

Long Term Evolution (LTE) systems will provide a large number of users with various high quality wireless Internet services including but not limited to voice over IP, real-time gaming, multimedia streaming and several others. A suitable pricing policy is an important component in order to bring benefits to both the operators and the customers. In fact, through this, the operator can efficiently manage the radio resources of cellular networks. For different types of services, the operator can maintain user Quality of Service and through which, the revenue can be optimized. This article analyzes various possible LTE pricing schemes, including the one proposed, based on different criteria: network load and congestion, operator revenue, traffic differentiation and user categorization. We provide comparative graphs to highlight the pros and cons of the studied pricing strategies. In location management services, a destination advertises its position attributes to a set of vehicles called location servers while, a source obtains these attributes from such location servers to track destination. The location management techniques in VANET have been categorized into flooding-based, flat hashing-based, hierarchical hashing-based and hierarchical quorum-based techniques. In flooding-based location service, destination information is flooded to the entire network which results into high congestion, low throughput and non-scalable network. In flat hashing, a global hash function is applied to compute location servers of each destination which results into higher delay, drop and signaling overhead in large VANETs. In hierarchical hashing, global hash function computes location servers of destination in hierarchical order. It therefore suffers from handover signaling between servers, high load on the top hierarchy and location query delay when source and destination are apart. In hierarchical quorum-based, location servers are identified cluster-wise and therefore it also suffers from the problems similar to hierarchical techniques. To overcome these problems, ZoomOut Geographic Location Service (ZGLS) protocol is proposed which introduces flat quorum-based location management service. In contrast to the aforementioned techniques, the novelty of ZGLS lies in the fact that it has shifted the location server role from hashing-based or clustering-based geographic areas to few 1-hop neighbours, called relatives. The proposed protocol creates a chain of relatives to provide positioning and tracking service. To evaluate signalling overhead, timeliness and the reliability of update and query packets, ZGLS is compared with RLSMP and HRHLS through ns-2 simulations. The results reveal that ZGLS stands out as a better choice for large-scale sparse and dense VANETs. 相似文献

A new methodology is proposed to measure the dielectric constant and loss of a piezoelectric at the resonance frequency range based on the burst excitation method. Using a k31 type soft PZT rectangular specimen, we investigated the “force” and “voltage” factors carefully under the short‐ and open‐circuit conditions of the burst method, in terms of the ratio of the ring‐down current and voltage with the plate end vibration velocity and the displacement, and their phase lags. We provide the obtained material properties, including loss parameters, in particular, dielectric properties at the resonance frequency range. 相似文献

Various nanostructures of ZnO such as nanowires, sea urchin like and nano needles were grown using rapid thermal chemical vapor deposition technique (RTCVD), in oxygen ambient. For the growth of such structures, oxygen pressure was kept as 0.1 Torr whereas the chamber base pressure was 10(-5) Torr. The growth temperature was varied from 600 degrees C to 850 degrees C, which resulted in morphological variations. X-ray diffraction measurement revealed the hexagonal wurtzite structure of ZnO preferably oriented in [001] direction, which was further confirmed by high-resolution transmission electron microscopic (HRTEM) observations. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analysis suggests the presence of Zn 2p and O 1s. Raman E2 high peaks at approximately 434 cm(-1) has the highest intensity compared to other modes supports XRD results. Presence of low E2 peaks at approximately 330 cm(-1) indicates defects and oxygen vacancies. 相似文献

Context: Naringenin (NRG), the aglycone flavonoid present in grapefruits, possesses anti-inflammatory, anti-carcinogenic, anti-lipid peroxidation and hepato-protective effects. However, it is poorly soluble in water and exhibits slow dissolution after oral ingestion, thus restricting its therapeutic efficacy.Objective: With the aim to enhance the dissolution rate and oral bioavailability of NRG, solid dispersion technique has been applied using Soluplus® as carrier.Methods: Solid dispersions of NRG were prepared by solvent evaporation and kneading methods using various ratios (1:4, 3:7, 2:3 and 1:1) of NRG:Carrier. Characterization of the optimized formulations was performed using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. The in vivo behavior of the optimized formulations was also investigated in Wistar Albino rats.Results: NRG solid dispersion showed a significantly higher solubility and drug dissolution rate than pure NRG (p?0.001) and it followed the Higuchi model. Among the different methods employed for the preparation of solid dispersions, solvent evaporation showed better drug release profile. DSC analysis indicated reduced crystallinity of NRG as no discrete peaks of NRG were observed. This was further substantiated by XRD analysis. Furthermore, area under the drug concentration time-curve (AUC) of NRG from solid dispersion revealed a significant increase in NRG absorption compared to NRG alone.Conclusion: Based on these results, it was concluded that solid dispersion technique markedly enhances the in vitro drug release and in vivo behavior of the grapefruit flavonoid NRG. 相似文献

β‐galactosidase was isolated from almond (Amygdalus communis) extract by ammonium sulfate precipitation. Almond proteins precipitated by using ammonium sulfate and then dialysed exhibited 5.3‐fold purification of β‐galactosidase, and the yield of enzyme preparation was 96.5%. The partially purified β‐galactosidase exhibited pH and temperature optima at pH 5.5 and 50 °C, respectively. The enzyme was significantly stable against heat, pH, calcium and magnesium ions and D ‐galactose. The almond β‐galactosidase preparation exhibited over 89% activity even after 2 months storage at 4 °C. Hydrolysis of lactose in milk and whey was performed in a stirred batch process by using this enzyme preparation. These observations indicated that the hydrolysis of lactose increased continuously with time. The enzyme could hydrolyse 94% of lactose in buffer solution and whey whereas 90% of lactose hydrolysis was achieved in milk. The main aim of the present study was to prepare lactose‐free milk, which must be free from contamination, and the process should be inexpensive. Copyright © 2007 Society of Chemical Industry 相似文献
